Fury while being the heaviest of his career looks reasonably fit. Mcdermott looks like he could drop 25 pounds off his frame. If Fury struggles again with a blown up cruiserweight this is bad sign for his future in the division.

Fury vs Mcdermott was a replay of the first fight. Except this time Fury stopped Mcdermott in the 9th round. Fury needs to get a real trainer/conditioning coach. He was literally walking on egg shells by the 6th round and hanging on for dear life until late in the 8th round when he tagged Mcdermott.

It will be interesting to see Tyson Fury in with some of the UK's negro heavyweights like Olubamiwo, Skelton, Williams, Baker, Sprott, and Chisora.

I think he'd beat most of them now, but someone like the ape-like Olubamiwo could be dangerous. If Fury got into better physical condition I'm sure he'd defeat them all.

They need for Fury to stay clear of any physically mature in his prime heavyweight. Chiasora is probably too much for Fury at this point. He is only 21 and needs to grow into his frame. Warren was the promoter of Hatton and he let Hatton clean out the British club fight scene before he challenged Tszyu. Fury needs to do the same before he takes on top domestic class heavyweights like Chiasora or Fraudley (after he gets waxed by Haye).Edited by: white is right

I just learned that Tyson had recently hired Manny Steward as his head trainer. If this move can not get him to the next level and melt off that unsightly baby fat nothing well. Manny guided him to a win over the weekend. Hopefully this is a bell weather of better things to come.

Manny even has him sparring with Wlad. Come on Tyson, the time is now. Look at Wlad and Vitali and gain some inspiration. Enough of this lumbering club fighter look.

Fury finally dumped his uncle who seemed to be a bit over his head in training a potential champion. If he has the ability to be world class Manny will bring it out in him. Also Steward doesn't waste his time on circus act heavyweights. So if he is training Fury he must think he is a diamond in the rough. In his last fight he fought a much easier opponent than Mcdermott and he shut him out. Steward is probably getting a skill base for him before he steps up again to the gritty club fighter level.

Currently, there is photo of Manny surrounded by Fury, Wlad and Lee on ESB. All of them are white, two are elite. What this photos says is most of the elite fighters in boxing today are White. Why would one of the most acclaimed and skilled trainers in the world waste his time on fighters who can't fight?

Yes, the grip on boxing is being solidified by our White Warriors.

Tyson needs to stick to one trainer, so far in his career he's had about half a dozen and he keeps going back and forth. Now that he's with Manny, he needs to stay with him and put in the hard work.

Bad news on the domestic front for Fury. His pops was sent up the river for 11 years for attacking a fellow Irish Traveller at a car auction. Supposedly they had a beef that ran back over a decade and Fury Sr, gouged his eye out. This could be a major set back if Tyson's mind is bothered by this. It sounded like a scene out of a British gangster movie.....

Fury opponent named

Unbeaten 6'9 heavyweight Tyson Fury will be taking on another undefeated knockout specialist in 6'5 Brazilian Marcelo Luiz Nascimento in a ten-rounder at Wembley Arena on Saturday. After Fury's fight with Francois Botha was knocked back by the BBBofC, Fury did not hesitate in accepting "the Hammer,"Â￾ whose record is 13-0 with 11 KOs, similar to Fury's record of 13-0 with 9 KOs. "It angers me when you see so called heavyweight prospects keep having bums put in front of them every time,"Â￾ said Fury. I don't want to go through my career like that, I want to show them how it's done, so I'm taking on this guy who has an unbeaten record and is a massive puncher, this is what you have to do to become a star."Â￾ Nascimento remains subject to medical approval by the BBBofC.

BBBOC ORDERS CHISORA-FURY

With Dereck Chisora left hanging by Wladimir Klitschko's nagging injury, the British Boxing Board of Control announced that British mandatory challenger Tyson Fury will finally get his chance to face current champion Dereck Chisora for the prestigious national title. The fight will go to purse bid on Wednesday, April 13th 2011, and the contest has to take place by the end of July 2011. Fury said, "If he doesn't finally get stripped of his title by the Southern Area board for his run in with the law last year it won't matter, I'm going to strip the title away from him along with the zero on his record. Can't wait for this fight, it's been a long time in the making, but one thing is for sure, it's not going to take me as long to finish him off, expect another brutal knock out delivered from this 22 year old."Â￾

I actually like this fight for Fury. Some will say "too soon" but not me. Fury should beat Hasim.

The BBC rejected Botha but will allow Rockhead? His team has confidence in his ability. While Rahman isn't near the guy who beat Lewis or Sanders he still can beat club fighters.

Looking like Rahman fight is on, and if this is so I like it. I want to see more and more of these white fighters take a step up in competition, just like Helenius did against Peter. Hopefully Fury will win and we will have yet another white HW approaching title fight contention.

Video of aftermath of Tyson Fury's altercation with the Afican Negro criminal Chisora yesterday. Reportedly Fury had the Negro on the ground and it was calling security for help.

Hennessy Sports
has announced that Wembley Arena in London will be the host for the
eagerly awaited domestic super fight between unbeaten heavyweight Tyson
Fury and current British champion Dereck Chisora on July 23rd. Emotions
are running high as the two fighters got into an altercation during
Saturday's card at the O2 Arena. "Chisora's talked the talk and now he
needs to walk the walk,"Â￾ said Fury. "I'm good to go, that's my game
walking the walk, so let's see if he is man enough to get in the ring
with a dangerous, young, live opponent for the first time in his
career."Â￾

Big 4th round for Fury. He knocked Firtha down at the end of the round.

Fury landed some heavy punches in the 5th, stunned Firtha a few times and the ref stopped it.

From Fightnews:

Fury stops Firtha in 5

By Karl Freitag

WBC #13, WBA #15 heavyweight Tyson Fury (16-0, 11 KOs) scored a fifth round TKO over Nicolai “Stone Manâ€￾ Firtha (20-9-1, 8 KOs) on Saturday night at historic King’s Hall in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The 6’9 reigning British and Commonwealth titlist landed big shots from the get-go leaving Firtha’s face bloody after the first round. Fury dominated round two, as well. Firtha, however, rocked Fury in round three with an overhand right that had him hurt and desperately holding on. Fury got back on track in round four, landing good shots and getting a credit for a knockdown at the end of the round. Fury was in command again in round five and the bout suddenly, inexplicably waved off by referee John Keane even though Firtha was still very much in the fight. Time was 2:19. Firtha had gone the ten round distance against current WBA titlist Alexander Povetkin so the stoppage looks good on Fury’s resume.
