With Arrelious Bust’s oh-so timely ACL tear, Cooper becomes the starting #2 flanker opposite the pint-sized, pencil-necked, prize-winning bonehead, DeSean Jackson. Should Jackson suffer an injury this season (as his frail body habitually does), Cooper joins Jordy Nelson as the NFL’s only other #1 outside receiver. The slow-footed, yet talented starting slot receiver, Jason Avant, has now publicly come to Cooper’s defense multiple times. Avant seems like a classy guy and is one of the few blacks in the NFL with great hands and body control, so hopefully he, Cooper, Celek, Casey, and Ertz shine in Kelly’s offense this season…

A few days ago, I thought Cooper’s career was over…now, Jewry Lurie and the Eagles need him more than ever before. The Eagles play New England on Friday night, a contest which should feature plenty of white talent.
