Speaking of the Olympic Games, the French mixed judo team is ridiculous, all black, whereas in the history of France there have been many white judo medalists, including gold medalists, In addition to the setup for the French, who should have lost in the 5th fight between Abe and Galba, Unfortunately, these Olympics only serve to confirm what France will be like from now on. The referee was biased in favor of France, ignoring clear penalties from the French, especially in the Golden score in the fifth decisive fight for Japan, after that we had an electronic "draw", Where a video of a roulette wheel appeared on television where it fell precisely into the category where the best French judoka is, Again a disgrace, the same thing in football in the game France Vs Argentine, Russia lost nothing by being left out of this “Olympics” in Paris.

The only event I'm interested in enough to go out of my way to watch some of it is golf, and there's quite the leaderboard after three rounds. Schauffele won the gold medal in the last Olympics:

17 year old French table tennis phenom, Felix Lebrun, wins a bronze medal. Pretty cool match in front of a raucous home crowd.

Gold medal for Djokovic. This was his first gold medal to go along with his 24 grand slams. The GOAT debate is over. Tough loss for Alcaraz, but he will have a few more chances at the Olympics.

The big three finish 1-2-3 in the SF 1500m
The final will be fantastic.

Womens high Jump won by the fantastic Ukraine. And looks to be a clean sweep for us.

The Canadian has had a massive throw in the Hammer.

Simone Biles fell off the balance beam this morning. The judges took forever trying to calculate her score and figure out a way to give her a medal, but couldn’t.. The final competitor is a Brazilian who apparently is the heir apparent to Biles…the announcer literally said all she has to do is stay on the beam and she will win the gold. What a stupid “sport.”

The British Isle protesters have been more entertaining to watch than these Olympics tbh….

USA v Brazil volleyball was on at work and was a good watch I thought. Admittedly I’d never have tried to figure out how to see it, but since it was on I figured why not. Might be the last bastion of USA whiteness in the summer olympics

******* hell
That was quite the collapse by Rahm, but he hasn't been playing near his standard all year so it was a bigger surprise that he looked to be cruising to the gold after the 10th hole of the final round (20 under, 4 shot lead).

Scheffler shot a 29 on the back nine, well earned win for him against a superb field that was tightly bunched. Any talk of Schauffele catching Scottie as the world's current best was put to rest as Schauffele joined Rahm in collapse mode on the back nine.
