Everything NBC shows the masses from Sochi is carefully filtered and edited ahead of time, as is the case with every Olympics, and everything shown by the corporate media for that matter.

There was a bit of a controversy back in the 1976 Winter Olympics when it came out that Frank Gifford and Bob Beattie's breathless call of Franz Klammer's gold medal ski run was actually recorded after the fact, i.e., ABC knew how the race had turned out but presented it as a "live call."

One can only imagine how fine-tuned that "art" has become in the subsequent almost four decades as there are no "checks and balances" on the U.S. corporate media, which act essentially as an arm of the government.

Why do black nations feel compelled to send athletes to the Winter Olympics anyway? I really don't get it. It barely even snows in most nations where blacks are the majority. If a bunch of black people were competing in a really hot-weather sport and it happened to be dominated by blacks, I certainly wouldn't fret and pull my hair over the fact that there weren't any white people competing. I certainly don't *begrudge* them competing but I just really don't understand why they care.

They don't for the most part. The Jamaican bobsled team is pretty much a long-standing joke. During the opening ceremony when the participating nations' athletes took turns marching into the arena, there were only three African countries represented -- one was a North African nation, another was a White guy from "Zimbabwe" who is attending the University of Colorado, and one other one whose name escapes me. Of the thousands of athletes participating in the Games, less than one percent are Negroes, with most of their tiny number being from the U.S. and France.

It wouldn't be much of a stretch to call these the White Olympics, with strong Oriental competition in some of the events.

Well that's true, but I guess what I mean is, why are black people the world over all bothered by the lack of blacks in the Winter Olympics? They get all mad that there's not enough "diversity" in the Winter Olympics, when it should be pretty obvious why the Winter Olympics are a mostly white event.

I guess they think they need to be a part of everything, even things they aren't good at.

During the 2010 Games in Vancouver, Bill Maher was calling it a "Republican convention" because it was far too White for his judaic, rabidly anti-White taste. The insufferably pompous Bryant Gumbel said much the same thing.

The system despises anything that is mostly White, and will attack and demean it for that reason. Everything the media presents as indoctrination, whether it be commercials, television shows or movies, promotes "multiculturalism" and the cast and script will reflect that every single time. Things out of their control, such as the Winter Olympics, are reluctantly put up with, but the message that gets out is that the Summer Olympics are the "real" Olympics because that's the one that has sprints and otherwise has a much more noticeable and promoted black presence.

I was wondering about the young guy skiing for Zimbabwe's diaspora.. I remember back in the '12 Summer games, Zimbabwe sent a leftover Rhodesian to swim for 'em (Coventry). She was a really great swimmer, and it was hard for me to understand why she'd represent a f-cked up, bigoted place like Zimbabwe.. I can only speculate on all her motivations, but the Zimbabwe Olympic Committee was offering $10,000 (American) for gold medals.

I'm not sure if their slalom skier has the same offer tho (?)

Gold and Bronze were twins. Genetic determinism I guess.

Julia Mancuso of the US won a bronze medal in the women's super combined race today. I mention this because while the supremely annoying drama queen Lindsey Vonn Afrika routinely gets all the attention and press, Mancuso has now become the most decorated female alpine skier in American Olympic history. She has a chance to add to her total later this week in the downhill. It's time for the media to give her credit where credit is due.

Unlike Vonn Afrika, Mancuso is doing better in the relationship department as well. She has been dating star Norwegian skier Aksel Lund Svindal for a number of years:

58 medals have been awarded, with 54 of the medalists being white. The only non-whites to win medals were as follows…

A Korean female speed skater
A half-Asian Canadian figure skater
A Chinese speed skater
An Asian Russian speed skater

If not for short track speed skating, Asians would have a very difficult time winning anything at all.

Aside from the Jewish-American media performing their usual S.O.P., the Winter Olympics have been a joy to watch. The world’s greatest athletes are on full display, nearly all of whom are wholesome, family-oriented, display great sportsmanship, tenacity, courage, have been apolitical (despite the omnipresent media goading of the “homo” issue), and are generally very attractive and polite people. It would be a perfect Olympics if Shani Davis fails to medal in the 1,000 meter and 1,500 meter along with the disgustingly-brown U.S. Women’s Bobsled crew.

CBS running a story about Womens Ski Jumping, and the coach is a guy that looks like a 60s hippies and talked about how its the establishment holding the women back because they are afraid and swears that women aren't more likely to get injured. Funny thing is CBS actually shows 2 sides to the debate and a female ski jumper thats a doctor says women are much more likely to get injured.

One of the daily rags here (The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review) has as its lead editorial today a demand that Little Booby Costas, now suffering from pink eye in both eyes, apologize "to the world." This demand is made because this neo-con owned paper believes that Costas "has offered some shockingly deferential characterizations of the Russian president and Russian history."

Costas is condemned for his depiction of the "autocrat [Putin] as some kind of grand peacemaker brokering 'a deal to allow Syria to avoid a U.S. military strike by giving up its chemical weapons' and helping 'bring Iran to the negotiating table over its nuclear intentions.'"

Costas was being factual there, a brief spell of lucidity in between his usual liberal rants. Putin was indeed instrumental in avoiding yet another war of aggression by the U.S. against a Third World country, as just about everyone outside of DWF America knows.

This is the kind of pap being fed to "conservatives" by a purported "conservative" newspaper. Its Cold War rhetoric against Russia is undoubtedly being echoed by Limbaugh, Hannity, O'Reilly and the rest of the super-rich neo-con propagandists. Someone named Greg Pollowitz at National Review Online, another neo-con outlet, fumes, "If Costas thinks this cupcake coverage of Russia and Putin is going to cut it over the next few weeks, he's sadly mistaken." Just more examples of how Americans are kept ignorant by "both sides" of the Republicrat system.

No idea why someone would do that other than publicity, since he's obviously not qualified in any shape or form to make the German team, so he uses some loophole to get himself into the Olympics. He appears to provide nothing more than comedic relief and will be racing in the men's shalom in a ski suit built as a Mexican Mariachi.

The negro US speedskater failed to medal in the 1000m today, as the Dutch won another gold. He was routinely featured on NBC's Olympic promos leading up to the games as a gold medal favorite. First Lindsey Vonn Afrika, now this. Things are not going according to plan over at NBC. Is there a homosexual member of Team USA who's a medal contender that they can start hyping up?

Czechs played a good game majority of the game, unfortunately that majority was after Sweden had already scored 4 goals. Swedish defense got exposed in the game though, its not every good and the Swedes aren't medal favorites if they don't play better.

Oduya the Kenya looked noticeably to be the worst of the Swedish defenseman. Should of taken a Swede instead of a Kenyan. Although you wouldn't know Oduya played badly if you were listening to McGuire or Olczy.
