Here are your white starters for Penn State. I have Matt McGloin as being in a fight for the position. But after denying his transfer request, I'm sure Joe Pa will want Bolden to win the job. One white on the O-Line is pathetic. Watch out for WR Christian Kuntz, who may get to play this year. Also, watch out for former 5-star recruit and #1 rated MLB in the nation in 2010, Mike Hull to get some playing to this year at OLB. Other white backups to watch for include LG Adam Gress, LT Mike Farrell, RT Eric Shrive, DE Kyle Baublitz, and OLB Nate Stupar. Penn State started 10 whites last year, 12 in '09, 8 in '08, 9 in '07, 10 in '06, and 8 in '05. Penn State should start 8 whites this year, but look for that number to drop to 7 if/when Bolden gets the starting QB job.

Offense
QB- Matt McGloin - in a fight for the position
FB- Joe Suhey
TE- Kevin Haplea
C- Matt Stankiewitch

Defense
ILB- Glenn Carson
OLB- Michael Mauti
HERO- Drew Astorino (safety)
FS- Nick Sukay

Eric Shrive was highly-recruited, even had multiple SEC offers. Adam Gress blew-up at some camps, got a Penn State offer and took it soon after, I recall.

If Bolden gets the starting nod (due to Affirmative Action), it won't be long before McGloin wins it back on merit.

With only one white on offensive line, I'd think we will see some improvement over the next years. The majority of their 2011 and 2012 commits have been white, on the offensive line that is.

Hey Jack Lambert,  Joe Suhey has to be Matt Suheys' son right?

Yeah Carolina, that's correct he's Matt's son.

A couple of talented freshman are set to walk-on... CB J.T. Hornyak & S-Tim Buckley. Was suprised they didn't get offers from more D-1 schools...

Michael Mauti(from Louisiana) could be All Big 10 if he stays healthy...his Dad played WR for the New Orleans Saints in 70's/80's

LB Update:
Sophomore Glenn Carson has taken over as the No. 1 middle linebacker. Redshirt junior Michael Mauti, who played the spot this spring, has moved back to outside linebacker.

Bolden thinks highly of himself:
Penn State also remains unsettled at quarterback, with sophomore Rob Bolden and redshirt junior Matt McGloin getting even reps with the first team. Although Bolden said Tuesday he "feels like I've won the [starting] job already," Paterno was not ready to make that announcement just yet.

And figurehead coach Paterno and his rambling, incoherent take on it:
"I just don't know right know which way it's going to go," Paterno said. "I think both kids have done a really good job. The kids like them, they're great in the huddle, they've gotten better every day.

"The coaches have done a really good job with them, and the kids are feeling good about them. I think we're making progress."

Hey Highlander, do you know if Mauti is sending Stupar to the bench, or if he's taking the place of the mandatory afflete in the linebacking corps?

From listening to ESPN this morning, it looks like Joe Pa said McGloin and Bolden will both see time in this weekends game, basically co-starters.

To decipher what figurehead Joe really means is "well, McGloin outplayed Bolden in practice and should be the starter but Bolden will pout and threaten to leave the team if I don't make him the starter as well. AA quotas are an essential part of our program and we strive very hard, every day, to meet or exceed them."

The idea of Penn St having only one white starter on O-line is bizarre, so I looked at rival's depth chart, and was pleasantly surprised to see that three of the black starting seniors on the line have white backups listed as their number two's, and I believe Stankiewitch's backup is white as well. So, hopefully, this Steeleresque O-line is a one year wonder.

Long-time PSU former defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky has been charged with sexually abusing eight boys. I have no idea whether he is innocent or guilty and of course he is innocent until proven otherwise. But it did remind me of something I posted in Happy Hour back in the early days of the CF board, and the responses to it by Jaxvid and JDO74. The recruiting process of the big college football programs strikes me as over the top and a bit creepy.

Here's the link to the story on Sandusky: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/20...sex.case.ap/index.html?sct=hp_t2_a3&eref=sihp

Hockey had a coach named Graham James who raped two NHL players when they were both minors(Theo Fleury and Sheldon Kennedy). Predators scout out kids from broken homes with low self esteem to molest/rape. If the allegations are true against the former Penn. St. coach are true then it would make sense why he now works with disadvantaged boys. There is a special place in hell for child molesters...

Wow, that thread appears to be spot on. I guess another "gotcha" for CF and the fact that we see things here clearly where everyone else is living in their fantasy worlds.

Im thinking this is going to be a big story, sex sells after all, and so does perversion. This will also be the end of Joe Pa, he is being implicated in not reporting the abuse in a timely fashion so the media scowls will scream for the biggest head to be chopped off which is him. Can't say I will be sorry to see the old goat go, he is another example of a White man that lost his balls as he got older. I hope he doesn't have to go in disgrace which is what the MSM will be looking to do--wreck the reputation of another old white male. He would deserve better.

Fox sports was ripping on him via a writer named Couch, all but implicating Paterno and the whole athletic dept. The whole edifice is rotten with downright sadistic homos. Its one thing for an ESPN magazine to look like gay porno because that is between adults, but never fail the perverts end up taking over every vice.

I will say this working with youth in sports has always made me leery because of perverts that abuse their power with disadvantaged youth. The allegations against Sandusky mirror what James did with trips for youth that could never visit these places because of the poverty in their home environment. If he is guilty (I'm about 90 percent certain because of the multiple allegations) I hope a snitch in his segregated wing of whatever prison he is placed in gives him a blanket party.

Well folks this is another chance to rip open the soft underbelly of Cultural Marxism.

Agreed. The ruling class has spent the last 60 years trying to build up an edifice that marginalizes White America and prevents us from fighting back other than from the margins, but their own degeneracy and inner weaknesses keep foiling up the plan. Each time a good-hearted Middle American finally becomes disenchanted and realizes that the USSA is built on the same kinds of lies and (soft) totalitarianism as was its former ally the USSR, the better.

As for Paterno, I always admired him until recent years when he became a Caste imitator to show that he's still "relevant." He's a complicated individual like most are, but if he knew his long-time assistant was a perv, he should go, and the way the corporate media is howling about this all but guarantees he will.

The latest is that JoePa will retire at the end of the season. Doubtful, now that there is blood in the water he will be forced our much sooner.

Scandal aside, it is now understandable why long time college coaches should retire as soon as they can. As they are representatives of white male "privalege" it is only a matter of time before some sordid scandal comes to the attention of the media and they crucify the guy.

Lloyd Carr left Michigan early and it was the smartest thing he ever did. Sooner or later they are going to get you, so get out while the getting is good. If Joe Pa woulda quit a couple of years ago he would only be a footnote in all this while he could be soaking up the sun in some island vacation destination. Now he will be tarnished forever.

Yep, Joe hung on a few years too long. I was watching some footage of him last night and he's really showing his age. His voice is old and weak, and he looks frail now. He defied the aging process for a long time; it's a shame the end has to be this way.
