Jack Lambert: You posted earlier about the declining number of white men on the Steelers' roster.
I'd forgotten about Travis Kirschke calling it a day, and Rocky Boiman is no longer around. I've got to believe that Tyler Grisham won't even make the practice squad this year, and Patrick Bailey will get shown the door after the team drafted so many afflete LBs.
The Steelers will probably open with K/P/LS, Miller, Spaeth, Hartwig, Smith, Keisel, and Hoke.
I doubt that linemen like Kraig Urbik and Doug Legursky will even get a legitimate chance to make the club in '10.
And Big Ben will come back a few weeks later to give them at most 10 white men on the 53-man roster.
Therefore, there is no reason to be a Pittsburgh Steeler fan anymore, IMO.
They won't get any of my time or money in '10 and probably beyond.
What I plan to do this upcoming season is pay close attention to the stats and highlights of the key white players we have on other teams.
