That's some serious weight he's moving there.

    Black " coaches"

Dungy doesn't offend me. As Don mentioned above, he's in the unique position of actually not having to do anything. Peyton is more than capable of running the offense by himself. He doesn't feel personally obliged to call plays, and I respect that.

    NFL Week 4 2008

My main impression from thst game is that Joe Flacco is going to be something special. He has all of the tools that the all time greats have had. An accurate, extremely strong arm and enough mobility to avoid pressure (something like 14.5 seconds scrambling. Amazing!). Plus, he throws the ball...

    2008 Redskins

Who has ever wondered why a ESPN was created? Do they think people actually give a damn about hearing who won enough for them to turn on a TV? Gamblers needed the constant coverage to stay ahead of the curve with their bets. This sensationalism is just used to keep people who wouldn't normally...

    Smith suspended, fined.

Article Jets S Eric Smith was fined $50,000 and suspended for one game after his helmet-to-helmet hit on Cardinals WR Anquan Boldin. Excessive? Not enough? Opinions? Had a couple classes canceled today, so I've been keeping busy with the latest NFL news... Edited by: PhillyBirds

"MJG" is currently starting at RG for the Philadelphia Eagles. One of my friends was a ballboy for the Eagles and said that Jean-Gilles is the closest thing to a man-gorilla hybrid you could think of. My vision of an NFL-calibur athlete, all right.

    Kevin Curtis

Just an update: Curtis practiced the entire week leading up to the Chicago game. Before the game he was actually listed as "Doubtful" as opposed to just "Out". A speedy recovery will definitely help the Eagles out down the line. He will undoubtedly come back in as a starter, definitely over...

    Rams Fire Linehan

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3615358 But wait, it gets better. One of our personal Caste "favorites" succedes him: Jim Haslett. Remember when the Rams had white player? Not for long, you don't... Incompetence succedes incompetence.Edited by: PhillyBirds

With Casey Hampton injured, do the Steelers have a shot at starting an all-white defensive line tonight? Chris Hoke is a NT, right?Edited by: PhillyBirds

    NFL Week 4 2008

Dan Klecko contributes with a sack. The Eagles, admittedly, have great DTs, but I'm sure Dan could start elsewhere. Dusty Dvoracek has been drawing a lot of double-teams as well. He looks tough to move in the middle of the defensive line.Edited by: PhillyBirds

    Thoughts

Not what I meant at all. Admittedly it's a little weird that McVeigh was the first person to come to my mind, but I was just trying to make a point. I can't immediately think of a white "folk hero" similar in scope to Nat Turner. I'm sure someone here could, though.Edited by: PhillyBirds

    NFL Week 4 2008

Jordy Nelson is on the field quite a bit for the Packers today, and it appears that Aaron Rogers looks to him first. I would too, with all of the dropped passes by the other Green Bay receivers. Seriously, they've dropped a good 3 balls, wide open. One of them resulted in an interception...

    Tuff Harris

I was checking out the Tennessee Titans lineup for today and found something interesting. Apparently Tuff snuck by our scouts and ended up on the Titans practice squad. Hope lives on! http://www.titansonline.com/team/players/bio.php?PRKey=468Edited by: PhillyBirds

    2008 MLB Playoffs

Phillies are in baby! At any given point in the playoffs you might see them starting 7 whites. I'm really excited to see what we can do in the playoffs this year. We can beat Los Angeles (swept them earlier in the season) and Milwaukee (swept them too). And I have no doubt that they can beat...

    Thoughts

So out of the blue today, I remembered an incident in high school and wanted to know if anyone's seen anything similar. I was sitting in math class and a black student walked in wearing a big white T-shirt with a picture of Nat Turner on it and some quote at the bottom. I seemed to be the...

    2008 Penn State Nittany Lions

Scirrotto looks great in the game tonight against Illinois. He's not returning punts anymore for some reason, he was quite good at it. It would also appear that Joe Pa has a weird white safety fetish. Scirrotto was shaken up after a play and was replaced by another white safety.

I am also told that they can occasionally fog up if it is particularly hot or humid. And I imagine they can get muddy in a hurry as well. I always wanted a dark visor on my high school helmet but my dad never let me! I think they're pretty intimidating! I never thought they are...
