As a glass half-full type person I am I just wanted to note that Miami and LSU started true freshman white wr's in Braxton Berrios and Trey Quinn. Both are clearly talented as we have all noted previously but it speaks volumes to their talent when they are starting for these two historically caste teams. Just awesome.

A few more players I had never heard of are wr's Mitch Juergens and Colby Pierson from BYU and Ohio U. rb AJ Oulette. Bo Hardy is out for the year with a knee injury for Ohio.

Bo Hines of NC State is also a true freshman. He had a great game in their opener.
He was the game's leading receiver at 9 catches for 85 yards. Unfortunately, that was against a lesser opponent, so the gameplan was probably atypical for Dave Doeren. I'm sure he'll want his black quarterback to run most of the time this season.

Doeren proving to.be caste whore, had hopes he would bring some of his Wisconsin background NC ST but.if.anything hes darkened up the roster.

speaking of the Ohio Bobcats, you forgot to mention redshirt freshman Brendan Cope. he tied for a team-high 71 yards receiving on only 2 catches in their opener.

they also sort-of-feature senior Chase Cochran. the former sprinter has a personal-best of 10.68 (windy) in the 100-meters, but he has never been a focal point of the team's offense.

redshirt sophomore Daniel Braverman is a potential superstar at Western Michigan. he has a personal-best of a wind-legal 10.68 in the 100-meters and a reported 4.30 in the 40. on the field, he is quick as a hiccup and looks like a special talent.

i think BYU's towering target, junior Mitch Mathews may be my favorite pick to become an elite performer. he is 6-foot-6 with a 37-inch vertical and HUGE hands. he also has some speed.

6-foot-4 junior Ron Willoughby came out of nowhere for Buffalo in their season-opener, exploding for 132 yards and 2 touchdowns on 10 catches. he looks to fill in the shoes of former Bull standout Alex Neutz.

Nebraska sophomore Jordan Westerkamp is an explosive playmaker with hands of glue. have you seen his behind-the-back catch from the Cornhuskers' season debut? he's another youngster to watch.

Colorado's Nelson Spruce is always open and catches the ball despite only having "deceptive" speed and a blue collar work ethic. he must REALLY study his playbook to put up the numbers he did in Week One.

of course, sophomore Cooper Kupp at Eastern Washington is a gifted player. he might be the best wideout in the country.

Hey Jimmy C...I like the way you can click on the individual player shown in blue..will have to learn that skill!

A couple of Seniors WR's to add...

Georgia's Michael Bennett....6'-3" 202
Boise State's Matt Miller...6'-3" 213

Yes Westerkamp's behind the back catch was SICK! It was ESPN's TOP Play of Week 1!

Trey Quinn(LSU) only a true freshman had a one handed snag & a key 2 pt conversion in his first game...ran 10.6 range in HS....an NFL Scout compared him to a faster version of Brandon Stokley!

UNC's Ryan Switzer could easily be a Tailback as well as a WR...

La.Tech's Hunter Lee was a one time tailback moved to more caste appropriate Slot position

would i sound arrogant if i pointed out how well the guys i mentioned are doing today? haha!!

after the first drive of the 3rd quarter, Cooper Kupp now has his 3rd touchdown, 6th catch, and 122nd-receiving yard of the game against the Pac-12's Washington Huskies and all their affletic defensive backs. just imagine what he could do if he'd have been good enough to have been offered a Division One scholarship!!!! LOL. this kid is superb!

************************

in Arkansas' cupcake picnic against Nicholls State, quarterback Brandon Allen had completed 3 passes the last time i checked the box score. all three went for touchdowns, and two of them went to sophomore White wideouts: Drew Morgan from 22 yards out, and Cody Hollister from 7. it was Morgan's first career collegiate catch, and it was a beauty. he ran a terrific route, broke a tackle, then displayed excellent balance as he tightroped the sideline into the end zone.

************************

Colorado's Nelson Spruce currently has 2 touchdowns catches in the second half, giving him 9 catches for 140 yards and 2 scores on the day, including a 70-yard catch, run, and score. perhaps his speed is so deceptive that it actually allows him to defeat the laws of physics and run fast … for a White dude, i mean.

Illinois true freshman Mike Dudek is a burner (with reported 4.4 speed) and is already emerging as a big play threat. today, he had 4 catches for 55 yards and recovered a fumble in the end zone for a touchdown. he's another youngster to keep an eye on.

***************

Adam Humphries, now a senior, had 3 catches for 34 yards and ran for a 2-yard touchdown on an end-around today.

***************

i'm eager to see Oregon's freshman speedster Devon Allen emerge on the field (and not just on the track, where he was the 2014 Collegiate and U.S. Champion on the 110-hurdles).

ask and you shall receive, i guess. hahaha!!! Allen exploded for two long touchdown catches in Oregon's win over Michigan State, scoring from 70-yards and 24-yards en route to a 3-catch, 110-yard, 2 td performance.

*************************

after 1 game, sophomore Daniel Braverman leads Central Michigan with 10 catches for 130 yards, with a team-high long of 47. the rest of the team combined has 13 catches for a mere 113 yards. don't sleep on this cat.

*************************

freshman Braxton Berrios had team-highs of 6 catches and 63 yards for Miami. when i saw him step on the field for the Hurricanes, it was an historical moment for me. i'd never witnessed a White wide receiver line up for Miami before.

************************

freshman Bo Hines leads NC State with 13 catches for 146 yards after two games.

***********************

a couple of over-achieving, precise route running, blue collar, possession-receiving gym rats who really study their play books are in the Top 10 receiving nationally.

after two games, Nelson Spruce of Colorado has 17 catches for 249 yards and 4 touchdowns.

also after two games, Boise State's Matt Miller has 14 catches for 235 yards and 1 touchdown.

Excellent JC! Spruce has looked excellent just read an article on draftdaddy saying labeling Spruce as apossession receiver is a huge dumb mistake.

perhaps the most underrated (by the media) wideout in college football is Boise State's outstanding senior, Matt Miller.

in Boise State's most recent outing, Miller broke the school's all-time career receiving record previously held by 2011 third-round NFL Draft pick Austin Pettis, totaling 8 catches for 151 yards and a touchdown.

he tied Pettis’ record with career catch No. 229 on a 44-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter, and he then broke the record with No. 230 on a 37-yard reception on the next drive.

Miller set the Boise State single-season receptions record last season when he had 88 catches for 1,140 yards and 12 touchdowns, and he's been a model of consistency since debuting at Boise State as a freshman in 2011. he’s the only player in school history to post three consecutive seasons with at least 60 catches, 675 yards and 5 touchdowns, and he’s on pace for a fourth.

i think Miller compares quite favorably to Pettis. Current Broncos head coach Bryan Harsin, who was the offensive coordinator during Pettis’ entire career, also sees many similarities between the two.

Bryan Harsin said:
“They’re no different as far as how smart they are,†Harsin said. “Pettis was a guy that I didn’t worry about. He was dialed. … They’re both big guys, go up and make plays. They both understand what they are doing and spacing on the field. There’s a whole lot more similarities there, when I start watching more Matt and remembering how Pettis played. And they’re equally competitive. There’s not a whole lot of separation in those two.â€

their similarities go beyond the mental and competitive aspects of the game. physically, they are very similar, as well (aside from their skin tone, that is). at the 2011 Combine, Austin Pettis measured in at 6-foot-2-and 1/2-inches, weighed 209 pounds, and ran a 4.56 in the 40. Miller is officially listed at 6-foot-3, 213 pounds, and ran a reported 4.5 in the 40 coming out of high school.

with the lion's share of the season remaining, barring injury Miller will shatter every major receiving record in Boise State history. he is only 241 yards shy of the all-time yardage record set by Titus Young.

it will be interesting to see if the NFL treats Miller in a similar fashion as it did Pettis, who was not only a Combine invitee and 3rd-round Draft pick, but who also remains on the St. Louis Rams roster. i have my doubts, due to the Caste Sytem's methodology. but Miller is certainly an NFL talent.

Arkansas' junior quarterback Brandon Allen has thrown 6 touchdown passes in two games for the Razorbacks. 4 of them have been to White receivers: sophomore tight end Hunter Henry (a Freshman All-American a year ago) , senior quarterback-turned-tight end AJ Derby, and sophomore wideouts Cody Hollister and Drew Morgan. hopefully, the pink-skinned piggies will continue to make plays as the season moves forward.

Im gonna take some crap on this one but Morgan should be playing corner and Miller is not NFL material.

I am going to take some heat on this one but Morgan should be playing corner and Miller has no chance in the NFl.

I think miller has a shot if he is invited to the senior bowl and combine.
I have not seen Miller play, so I can't comment on whether or not he has a chance. All that I know is that if he were BLACK, and was putting up these numbers, he would not only be being pimped for the NFL, but he would be a Heisman frontrunner.

Miller might make an Nfl team but I think he is going to get the shaft like Tyler Shoemaker or Kris Durham. Both fast lanky receivers that always seemed to be open.
I did not catch the Baylor game last night but sophomore wr Lynx Hawthorne had a good game with 2 td catches for something like 135 yards.

I didn't see the game last night at all, but it looks like Baylor WR Lynx Hawthorne had an amazing game last night - 7 catches for 123 yards and 2 TDs!! He's 6'1 185 pounds with 4.5 speed, and he's only a sophomore!! If Baylor keeps it rolling, expect Hawthorne to get into the spotlight at some point in the next 3 years.

Cool. I did not know about this guy. Baylor went up a few notches in my book, especially out of the top 10 teams!

I saw Hawthorne playing but I figured he was mixed from the way he looks in uniform...

He seems to have some Mestizo heritage, probably on his mother's side...

Sometimes, he looks completely white, however...

I have a couple more players that I believe deserve mention in this thread, and both are Nebraska Cornhuskers. I see Jimmy mentioned Jordan Westerkamp already, and this kid is gonna be a star. Last week against Fresno State, he had another 2 catches for 85 yards and a TD. As I mentioned, the positive of black QB Tommy Armstrong starting is that Westerkamp is his roommate, so they have a ton of chemistry going. Look for a HUGE season from Weskterkamp.

Another WR from Nebraska to watch for is walk-on RS Sophomore Lane Hovey. At 6'4, the kid is a great athlete, and has some great hands.
He was 2nd on the Cornhuskers Saturday with 3 catches for 48 yards, out-shining those 3-4 star kids that Nebraska brought in to give them some "talent" at the position.

I think we all can still cheer for him. I still think he's white, as will DWFs, even if he does have a bit of Mestizo heritage. Because his last name isn't Rodriguez or anything like that, DWFs likely won't notice.

i haven't seen his name mentioned yet (he is certainly a new player to me), but redshirt freshman tight end Cam Serigne is the leading receiver for Wake Forest through 3 games. he has team-highs of 15 catches and 171 yards, thus far, and he has caught at least 3 balls in every game.

Nelson Spruce, the "deceptively" fast "possession" receiver for Colorado has caught at least 7 passes and scored 2 touchdowns in each of the Buffaloes' first three games. that's some impressively consistent overachievement …

Matt Miller continues to simply make plays for Boise State. this week he caught 2 touchdowns (5 catches for 74 yards on the day) and threw a touchdown pass. just another blue collar outing for the Blue Turf athlete.

Western Michigan's Daniel Braverman exploded for 122 yards and 2 touchdowns on just 5 catches in Week 3. "weird," that this Florida native with 10.6 speed in the 100-meters signed way up north in tiny Western Michigan ...

3 touchdown catches for Stanford's Devon Cajuste.

Devon Allen caught another touchdown, that's 3 in the past two weeks. his game-breaking speed is finally being utilized.

Kansas State senior wideout Curry Sexton finished last night's contest against highly-touted, #5-ranked Auburn with game highs of 11 catches and 121 yards receiving. despite being open all night long and catching everything thrown his way, he didn't receive a single positive comment from the announcers about his talent …

940x.jpg

Sexton making plays against Auburn's defensive blacks

conversely, Auburn's D'haquille (not a typo) Williams dropped 4 passes, but the drops were electrifying, explosive, game-breaking, and room-brightening. as is his talent. apparently.

there's no double standard from the media. at all. none.

It was worse than that, imo.
Every time Sexton made a drive-saving play, Jesse Palmer couldn't help but open his racist mouth and tell us how important it is that KSU get Lockett involved in the passing game.

I'm getting a bit disinterested in the NFL as well as frustrated so I remembered that alot of White athletes are having success in D1 right now. Here's our top FBS guys in the country.

3Nelson Spruce, WRCOLO3751814.0717
Spruce leads the country with 7 touchdowns. 7 equals his entire career total coming into this season. He's been the biggest "pleasant surprise" IMO so far this young season.
14Matt Miller, WRBSU2441617.3573
34Daniel Braverman, WRWMU2231314.2572
41Devon Allen, WRORE1429921.4805
48Dominic Rufran, WRWYO1729117.1880
50Ron Willoughby, WRBUFF2028614.3464
52Jordan Westerkamp, WRNEB1428520.4703
59River Cracraft, WRWSU2327812.1373
76Mike Dudek, WRILL1924913.1493

I really like the potential of these guys.
