Phrases like "man among boys,"Â￾ "superman,"Â￾ and "he wills his team to win, and they win."Â￾ I could care less weather or not TT is even drafted"¦.he'll easily supplant his unaffletic black counterparts and assume his role at the top of the football universe.

After days of deliberations on whether to run a controversial Super Bowl ad from gay dating site ManCrunch.com, CBS has not yet reached a decision.

The 30-second spot shows two men excitedly watching the game, before their hands brush as they both reach into a bowl of chips. Suddenly, the two begin making out, much to the shock of a guy sitting close by.

According to a rep for the dating site, which operates under the slogan "Where Many Many Many Men Come Out to Play,"Â￾ the ad was submitted on Monday, January 18th. When the site followed up on the status of the ad on Friday, January 22nd, they were told by CBS that "the spot hadn't been officially approved yet" by network standards, and that "all the Super Bowl spots were sold out."Â￾

"ManCrunch requested the spot get reviewed anyway just in case another advertiser drops out and a spot becomes available, as often happens, and CBS agreed,"Â￾ added the site's rep.

ManCrunch officials said they believe CBS has no intention of airing a commercial for their gay dating service, "but do not want to officially ‘reject' the spot out of fear there may be a backlash from gay advocacy groups."Â￾

However, a representative from the network told Pop Tarts that advertising spots were still open, and was unsure where that comment originated.

"The ad is still under review, the process takes a little while,"Â￾ a rep from CBS said. "We still have a lot of ads we have yet to review."Â￾

ManCrunch's submission is not the only controversial ad CBS has had to review this year. On Wednesday, the network announced that they had approved a pro-life commercial starring Florida quarterback Tim Tebow, funded by the conservative Christian group Focus on the Family, to air during the game.

"CBS's recent decision to air an anti-choice advertisement during Super Bowl XLIV was outrageous,"Â￾ a rep from advocacy group The Women's Media Center said. "Even worse is the network's about face from its own policy of rejecting controversial Super Bowl ads.

"The Women's Media Center and organizations dedicated to reproductive rights, tolerance, and social justice, are urging the network to immediately cancel this ad."Â￾

CBS is reportedly standing by their decision, and producers said they would consider accepting any other "responsibly produced" advocacy ads for broadcast.

IMO, that would be a perfect add for the new holiest of holies of the American cultural Marxist religion, which is of course the Superbowl of the NFL. Even go one step farther and have it a gay interracial commercial featuring fat, balding, middle aged losers drooling over the young athletic black "studs". It wouldn't be anything all that much different than the stuff they already show for consumption of the DWF and media freaks, like the commercials showing Adrian Peterson running in slow motion with his shirt off, or the countless draft time displays of the room brightening smiles or the pseudo sexual comments given out by the gushing media on gameday. If you took many of those comments and dubbed them over the commercial audio, it would be a perfect fit. Heck, you might even get a few of the old pervert jock sniffers to willing take part in the commercial. In fact, the older I get, the more I am starting to see the big picture. That a great deal of the whole cultural phenomenon of athletic worship and athletes is kind of creepy and a bit queer in and of itself. The older I get, the more I am starting to believe that athletics are something that should be enjoyed through active participation rather than through "fandom", which is derived from "Fanatic - A person marked or motivated by an extreme, unreasoning enthusiasm, as for a cause". I agree, I have made up my mind that when the weather breaks and the Softball leagues start up again, that this is the year I am going to get back into having fun playing, even if it is just for the a church league. I honestly have not missed watching the NFL one bit this year. Actually, I feel better having not wasted my time and energy sitting in front of the tv like a loaf week after week on Sundays. In fact, the hand full of games I did view in some capacity, I found myself having a very hard time staying interested. I am sure I will still watch a little bit of baseball every now and again, or listen to it on the radio while I am doing something else, but I truly think I am coming to a point in my life where professional sports don't mean a whole lot to me. About the only thing I get excited for anymore is the odd MMA match up and I think that is because it sort of naturally stirs the blood and is one brief fight with two guys in usually what is a test of true skill and will. Plus, it is not something that is droned on about by the media in a day in and day out fashion like other sports and not generally something that has been totally castified. Still, I wouldn't be caught dead walking around in a Fedor Jersey (if they made one) or squealing like girls about my favorite fighters like the DWF's do about the various castified athletes in the NFL, NBA and to a lesser extent MLB.Edited by: Bear Backer

Lately, the scorn of the scouts and his obvious struggles in the Senior Bowl haven't tempered local enthusiasm for Tebow as the draft draws nigh, but at least one member of the franchise isn't afraid to express his, let's say ... misgivings about adding Tebow to the roster, according to the Florida Times-Union:

Nwaneri posted on the Jaguars' Web site that, while cashing a check, a bank teller started talking about how Tebow will save the Jaguars.

So Nwaneri posted his five points on Tebow, with capital letters:

"1. He can't throw, PERIOD.

2. He can't read any coverage other than probably cover 2 or man.

3. The QB Wildcat WILL NOT WORK IN THIS LEAGUE. PERIOD.

4. He doesn't know how to take a snap from center.

5. HE CAN'T THROW, and that's really something you either have or not."

I guess that settles it, then. Obviously, there's nothing the kid can do to help the team. Oh, and one more thing:

Nwaneri then urged fans to buy tickets because he doesn't want to come out "for pregame warmups to a COMPLETELY EMPTY STADIUM ANYMORE."

Let's talk business, Uche: Whether or not the Tebow Child can make a successful transition to the pro game on the field, putting warm bodies in seats is obviously among the greatest of his many other talents. Give the people what they want. And even if Nwaneri and the legions of critics are right that Tebow is bound for NFL flopdom, I guarantee thousands of Georgia fans would be willing to make the drive down to the site of so many Cocktail Party aggravations for the sole purpose of watching their former tormenter operate behind a line that might not feel much like blocking for him.

Sadly, I think it's already decided that Tim Tebow will have to play another position on offense to see the field in the Negro Football League. I suspect that he's been gradually working on bulking up to around 240-he definitely looked much bigger to me this season-in anticipation of a positional move.

A back-up H-back/TE combo/special teams demon with bonus use as an emergency 3rd string QB on certain teams so they don't have to activate a 3rd guy on a weekly basis.

I hope I'm wrong, but I would be shocked to ever see him suit up as a starting QB in the NFL.

Add former Notre Dame and Redskins star quarterback Joe Theismann to the list of Tim Tebow doubters. According to Pro Football Talk, Theismann told Jacksonville station 1010XL in a Super Bowl radio row interview Thursday that Tebow should have retired at the end of his college football career.

Theismann said that would have "preserved Tebow's rock star status," and didn't have kind words for the style of offense they play.

"Obviously at Florida they don't teach throwing the football," Theismann told host Mike Dempsey, who went on to mention Urban Meyer and his staff have "no clue" in terms of developing quarterbacks for the NFL.

Joe had more knocks for Tebow, including talking about the former Gator superstar's pride and ego getting in the way of common sense about his football abilities.

No word if the Tebow people who spent the money on the Super Bowl ad have decided to hire Lawrence Taylor to "set Theismann straight."

I may be rooting harder for this young man(Tebow)to make it in the NFL more than any other white player ever to come out. Toby Gerhart will be a close second. I am hoping 2010 will be one breakout castebusting year with Tebow, Gerhart, Shipley, etc..

Don't worry about Tim, he says that the criticism motivates him like they did when he went to UF. The critics said he couldn't be a good collegiate QB and he proved them wrong just as he will in the NFL as long as he's given a chance.
