That would be awesome. If Steve Young had a long career as a starter he would have been in the running to be named the greatest QB of all time. I think he still has the highest career QB rating for a QB with over 10,000 passing yards and the guy really could run too. Arguably the greatest scrambling QBs of all time are Steve Young and Fran Tarkenton both white.

Maybe Tim Tebow will win a few Superbowls and be talked about as the greatest scrambling QB of all time (scrambling= a term the caste hounds can't comprehend when they see a guy with melanin "deficiency" doing it). We all know that ESPN will still be talking about Donovan McNabb and Michael Vick then though.

JR1, good call. That's total horse$#it that every (or even the majority of) NFL player(s) work hard & have good work ethic!

Most of the NFL afroletes spend the off-season (& even during the season) loading up at the chinese buffet, blazin' dope, getting tore up "up n' da club" & dropping c-notes (like pennies) in titty bars. Tebow is (athletically, intellectually & morally) far beyond the "average" NFL afflete.

Great post Dixie and JReb I agree! Dixie, I like how you used the term I started using here "afrolete". I know there are many black players in the NFL who could be called affletes, who behave badly, don't study hard or aren't very smart (most afroletes have one, two or all three of these problems and often times extreme athleticism and being a "student" with brains don't seem to go hand and hand), but there are many exceptions to this rule like Warrick Dunn, Myron Rolle, Ronde Barber, Jason Taylor etc.

Vince Lombardi would be turning over in his grave thinking about how little pride these "playas" have. He coached when pride still mattered and would have been disgusted by the laziness, letting it rain at the strip joint habits- and lack of studying from affletes who need to study more. I recommend the book "When Pride Still Mattered" about Vince Lombardi and his era! I don't think Lombardi would have allowed himself to coach in today's NFL- as it would be against his ideals/ virtues to simply hand a job to an afrolete at the expense of a more qualified white.Edited by: ToughJ.Riggins

I agree with Elway. Bernie Kosar was a pretty good qb who though side arm. Many others have and they were successful. Let Tebow do what he knows best. If they play the kid, he will become a superstar. I see him being similar to Steve Young eventually even though he is a big slower version of him. He will be hard to bring down whether in the pocket or running. Sacking him will be like trying to take down Big Ben. I see great things within 2-3 years if he is given the chance to start.

I suppose if you are a blind supporter of a school like the Alabama Ebony Tide, then yes, hearing about a rival school's QB constantly could possibly be annoying. However, any praise received by Tebow was well deserved, regardless of what people think.
