If the Bengals sign Terrell Owens, it will be because Carson Palmer personally wants him. As senior Caste System talking heads Kornheiser and Wilbon breathlessly noted on Pardon The Interruption, it's "important" that Palmer is "on board" with the Bengals signing the ultimate black diva WR. Both strongly urged the Bengals to do it.

Believe it or not, Palmer has been working out with T.O. Yeah, you read that right- the lone white star of the league's ultimate thug squad isn't satisifed with being saddled with Ocho Cinco and the criminals who regularly populate Mike Brown's team roster. Now he wants REAL black drama.

Remember last season, when Palmer, on his own, requested that the team give rookie thug Bernard Scott more chances to touch the ball? He didn't mention white RB Brian Leonard, who'd just been acquired and was Scott's direct competition. Now, Palmer wants T.O., which will mean that Matt Jones has zero chance of even making the roster, and Jordan Shipley will be lucky to see snaps as a #4 WR (that's assuming Palmer doesn't decide to publicly fondle Andre Caldwell).

As I noted last year, Palmer was not just trying to protect his lucrative position then, or now. He was not asked if he thought the team should sign T.O. He forced the issue- just like he did last time. He was working out with this clown-who was unwanted by any other team and had even been widely dismissed by blacks around the league. Wouldn't it have been nice if Palmer had decided to work out with Matt Jones and/or Shipley, and publicly lauded them, urging the team to get the ball in their hands?

Carson Palmer represents all that is wrong with the white race. As a recent thread in another forum stated, WE are the enemy. This guy should be desperate for white players like Leonard, Jones and Shipley, after his steady career diet of divas like Ocho Cinco and all the despicable teammates with "character" issues he's had to deal with.

Palmer must love the thug life. After all, he has now shown, two years in a row, that he is willing to throw new white teammates under the bus, while publicly promoting the worst possible sort of black competitor. Maybe all that gangster rap music in the locker room has made his resistance weak.

I will never root for Palmer again. I hope he gets beat out by someone, anyone. There is no defense for what he did here, even if the Bengals don't sign T.O. He was not just trying to protect his job, he was actively promoting a black clown whom everyone else had practically forgotten, at the expense of two white teammates.

Without white people, there would be no Caste System. Edited by: bigunreal

I won't root for him either after reading this. Palmer probably believes the myth that blacks are the best athletes so he doesn't care for Shipley or Leonard. He's been brainwashed his entire life most likely.

Bigunreal, I remember you going off on Palmer a year or so ago. For some reason you seem tokeep singlinghim out as the one prominent White athlete who should throw his career away to please posters here and become some kind of White Nationalist martyr.

I've always been impressed by Palmer's demeanor. On a team of thugs he stands out as a well-mannered exception. That's all I expect from him.

And he is going to praise just about any teammate, prospective or otherwise, just as he should.

For example -- from the Matt Jones thread (May 13 post):

Count Palmer in after throwing to his veteran receivers for six days before Tuesday.

On Monday, he said Matt Jones, the former first-round draft pick that hasn't caught an NFL pass since '08, and free-agent pickup Antonio Bryantcan give him what he's been missing since the departure of T.J. Houshmandzadeh and the injury to the late Chris Henry.

After the offense went against a defense for the first time Tuesday, you saw and heard why. While Palmer continued to be impressed by Jones, Bryant raved about Palmer. Palmer didn't throw a deep ball to Jones on Tuesday because the Bengals were installing their short routes. But twice Jones ran by a top-tier cornerback inLeon Hallduring drills and caught one of them.
And then there's this, referenced in the Brian Leonard thread:

As Leonard talked, my mind flashed back to the Bengals' unlikely win in Green Bay last weekend. It suddenly occurred to me that what Leonard had been saying sounded very little like those old Bengals' tales of woe.

"That guy just makes plays," Palmer said. "He converted the fourth down. He converted the extra point and then he sprinted from the end zone down to go cover the kickoff because he's on the kickoff team. He didn't say a word. He didn't smile. He didn't laugh. He's just a workhorse.

"He's always where he needs to be. He's always picking up pressure when he needs to pick up pressure. And when he needs to make big plays he essentially makes big plays."

Don,

I'm singling out Palmer because he keeps doing this. I have no other reason not to like him, but I don't understand how anyone can defend this. He is not simply protecting his career; last year, HE brought up the subject of giving Scott more touches, and now HE decided to work out with T.O. and urge his team to sign him.

As Caste whores Kornheiser and Wilbon noted on PTI, Palmer's support makes it "safe" for the Bengals to sign T.O. If they do, HE will be responsible for Jones being cut and Shipley's role being diminished. The Caste System would not be nearly as effective without whites like Palmer volunteering to help blacks at the expense of the few white players, who are already struggling against overwhelming odds, that are permitted to play in the league.

Give me your evidence that Palmer "keeps doing this." Doing what? He is merely responding to reporters' questions. If you are claiming that Carson himself initiated a campaign to bring Owens to Cincinnati at the expense of Matt Jones, again where is the slightest bit of evidence to back that up?

I'll tell you exactly what happened. Last summer a reporter asked Palmer, "What are your impressions of Bernard Scott?" Palmer then complimented him. A reporter asked Palmer what he thought of Brian Leonard. Palmer complimented him, as I quoted above. A reporter asked Palmer what he thinks of Matt Jones. Palmer complimented him, as I quoted above. A reporter asked Palmer about Owens. Palmer said complimentary things.

This happens every day, in every major sports media market. Players are routinely asked about other players, and they just as routinely say what they're expected to: "[Fill in the blank] is a great teammate and talent. I'm looking forward to seeing what he does this season."

I'm sure that if the same reporter or reporters who asked Palmer about Owens ask him about Matt Jones, Palmer will again praise Jones. But that's not considered "newsworthy" right now.

Surely you're not so naive as to still not be aware of how the media works, how Owensand others like him arekept in the media glare year-round. Palmer was asked a question and he answered it. A couple of weeks ago, Brian Leonard was asked to compare himself to John Riggins, and he answered the question. Next thing you know it was all over the internet in a mocking way -- "Obscure White Running Back Thinks He's the Next John Riggins."

You've cited nothing to indicate that this situation is any different. Palmer is simply playing the good soldier, as he is supposed to and everyone (except you apparently) expects him to.

Again, just what is it he "keeps doing," and how is it in any way different from how every other well-known White football player handles the media? Do you really think Peyton Manning would have issued a scathing denunciation of Owens had there been rumors that the Colts were interested in signing him?

Don,

Carson Palmer was working out with T.O. On his own. His idea. No reporter asked him anything. HE wanted to do it. Here's one of many links to this story, from the voice of the Caste System:

If you aren't expecting white players at least not to do things like that, then what do you expect them to do? Edited by: bigunreal

Palmer plays in a black dominated league.Over 90percent of the receivers are black. Owens has terrible hands but he has talent. I don't see how this is unexpected or deserves special condemnation. Palmer is color blind when praising teammates, as I showed above. How do you distinguish that from anything Manning or Brady or Brees have said and done?Do you keep track of who Peyton Manning works outwithduringthe offseason? The Manningsrun a camp for receivers and it's a safe bet that most of those attending each year aren't white.
There's a very one-sided and hypocritical set of rules when it comes to race thatevery White public figure in and out of sports knows and accepts. It sucks that it's that way, but why should Carson Palmer be the trailblazer in fighting it? Does Carson Palmer have white racial consciousness? Should he? He's a suburban jock who made it big in college and then the NFL. He's not an expert on race relations or the racial dynamics of the NFL. And even if he secretly is, what advantage is there for him to speak out? Zero. If it's a choice between throwing to assclown Terrell Owens instead of assclown Antonio Bryant starting on the other side of assclown Chad Johnson, Palmer's probably correct in thinking that Owens is still the better receiver even at his advanced age. It's the same old same old, and it aint gonna change until the (Caste) system does.Edited by: Don Wassall

Palmer has won the Heisman trophy and is a starting NFL QB. For him, the systen works. This is the world he knows.

Don,

No one is asking Palmer to speak out. I'm criticizing him for thinking up the idea of working out with Terrell Owens, and then urging his team to sign him, which will work to the detriment of his white receivers.

Palmer isn't the director of player personnel. If you have been reading the Matt Jones thread, it's obvious he isn't going to make the team and it has nothing to do with Carson Palmer's workout partners.

We don't know if Palmer "thought up the idea" of working out with Owens, do we? That's the media spin. What if Owens called Palmer and said, hey i'm in Socal, can we work out together? Unless he had other plans Palmer is going to say yes. This is most likely PR and spin emanating from Owens' camp, who has had quite the symbiotic relationship with the media over the years. It gives the media something to go with to amuse the DWF masses. Tomorrow there will be some other angle, and the next day, and the next day. . . Every day for weeks there has been "news" about one or another team possibly being interested in Owens. It's just business as usual for Owens and the media. To paint Palmer as the master of the fate ofall thereceivers interested in being on the Bengalsis way out there, but then again you think every NFL game is scripted so why isn't Palmer merely following a script that was handed to him? And since you think every NFL player is so corrupt as to knowingly throw games, why would you expect Palmer to have an ounce of integrity when it comes to anything?

What he is is a highly paid jock, no better or worse than any other White player in the league. He's sniped at Chad Johnson before and made comments about all the "troubled" players on the team. He'spraised his white teammates, including Brian Leonard and Matt Jones.I've always been impressed with the way he's conducted himself on and off the field, hardly worthy of a thread demonizing him.Edited by: Don Wassall

bigunreal,

I enjoyed your rant! Palmer has been rubbing me the wrong way, ever since the Chris Henry incident, and I could care less now if Palmer gets injured, or never regains his early career ability.

I also think of how the Bengals' drafted a black TE (Gresham) when they already have Chase Coffman. Maybe, like with Brett Favre, Palmer doesn't want "White boys" catching his passes? Not enough rhythm or hip flexibility?

The Bengals' are looking like a prime example of an NFL team that resembles the "WWE" stable of "performers"... and Palmer is looking like part of the problem. The issue goes well beyond the Matt Jones "situation," and we are still yet to see how Jordan Shipley is going to be treated. Carson Palmer might just be a Drunk White Player.

I seem to remember Carson calling out one of his black teammates for stupid behavior, cant remember who it was, but it was about 3 or 4 years ago. Might have been Chris Henry...

I realize that Palmer is not the director of player personnel, but he chose to give his stamp of approval to one of the most obnoxious, distracting players the NFL has ever seen. He already has one wildly overrated buffoon at WR- now he wants a pair?

Even if T.O. approached Palmer about working out together, why didn't Palmer just say "no, thanks?" Would rejecting a washed up drama queen like T.O., whom several black players around the league have already urged their team not to sign, really jeopardize his career?
Knowing the dynamics between white and black athletes, however, I seriously doubt that T.O. asked Palmer to work out with him.

At some point, established white players like Palmer have to show at least a little backbone. If Palmer really meant those things he said about Matt Jones, for instance, he would have been working out with HIM, and not T.O., and then told the coaches they need to "play this guy." Do you really think that Palmer would lose his job over something like that? If so, then there is no hope of ever even mildly reforming the Caste System.

Bottom line is- with Bryant apparently still injured, the Bengals would have had a decent shot at opening the season with 2 white WRs getting plenty of playing time. Thanks largely to their white QB, they will now have a lone white WR who will be lucky to see the field.

Bigunreal, while I don't believe in many of your "conspiracy theories" and supposed fixing of games I'm with you on this one. It seems as if Palmer is personally trying to get TO on the team. The issue I have with this is that you would think Palmer would learn something from having one idiot(Ochostinko) on the team. TO is just as big, if not bigger, of a clown than Ochostinko. Why would he want this idiot on his team? I guess it pays to be a black drama queen these days as both have their own reality shows.

bigunreal, I enjoy reading your theories and rants. Although, I don't think NFL games are fixed, I do feel that there could be things like corrupt refs (ala an NFL version of Tim Donaghy) who call a biased game for betting reasons or something else. Maybe Roger Godell or former commish Tagliabue have put pressure on refs to call games "better" for big market teams. David Stern in the NBA seems to have clearly favored the big shot teams like the Lakers over the Kings (he didn't criticize the outrageous officiating). He wrongly suspended Pheonix players when they may have won a championship- (and then big shot/ powerhouse San Antonio went on to win a 4th championship with Duncan).

I do think the NFL is corrupt. Carson Palmer happens to play for one of the worst organizations in the league. Personally, I think the GM is more at fault- and I think Marvin Lewis is weak on his rules and discipline of his players. Carson Palmer may not be at the same peak of success as he was a few years ago before his shoulder injury. I do think Palmer should advocate for Shipley to get time in the slot and for Jones to get a chance at the #2 WR job if Bryant is injured etc. I don't know how much pull Palmer would have in this organization though. Also, how would his players react if he strongly took sides? He'd have to find a very cautious balance in this very anti-white league when he went about talking to the coaches and media. I think if Palmer is asked about the Bengals being interested in T.O the best he can do right now might be

"I'd be happy to work with a new WR IF THE GM THINKS he will be a positive addition to our team to put us on the path to a Superbowl".

Then the most he could do is tell the GM- in private- that he isn't thrilled about a possible signing of T.O, due to what he knows about him. And if Antonio Bryant is healthy- he would probably make more enemies than friends on the team by pushing his views that Matt Jones should start opposite Ocho Stinko on the outside (due to Bryant's reputation as the better WR- with most of the league's players and most of the media). Matt Jones play would have to REALLY stand out for him to advocate for him over another player, and even still- the other player would probably have to be someone like Caldwell.

I agree with you that I'm not thrilled with Palmer's handling of things, but I don't think many white QBs- in the current NFL- would do better being the starting QB on such a bad organization. We'll have to see how things pan out. Big, I also wanted to say that, like me, I think you are one of the most creative posters on the site- which is why you come up with some great creative rants and theories. Truth is there is probably a balance somewhere between, your, WA33, Don, deadlift and my views.

Just a question: Do you think Palmer could do anymore, with a maximum effort toward fairness, than I came up with? I think doing any more than that could make him a pariah on his own team.

Edited to add: I don't think T.O is criminally inclined the way many NFL players are. He's just a selfish, drama- attention craving- queen with the maturity of a 16 year old boy. If Palmer really does seek out players like T.O to work out with over guys like Jordan Shipley, Warrick Dunn or Donald Brown- than he's foolish with the kinds of NFL friends he covets. I'm with bigunreal on this one. While I don't expect a white athlete to be racially aware I think it's necessary for us here to at least hold them to some expectations. Palmer has been too welcoming to black dysfuntion and that's wrong, no matter what the reason. Is he supposed to be given a pass because it personally rewards him for not rocking the boat? If that's the case then things will NEVER change. Someone sometime is going to have to go out on a limb and make a sacrifice. How can we ever expect white people to change the current direction of society if they never do anything that will make themselves uncomfortable. And here's a guy that's set for life. He's got a lot less to lose then an average Joe who would try to stand against this type of thing.

It's really a tossup who the bigger clown is, Ochostinko or TO. Both are among the worst choices for teammates in the entire league. They behave like overgrown children every single year. The fact that Palmer wants someone like that on his team shows that he's not very racially aware.

All athletes, of all races, at all times, have the propensity to "kiss ass"Â￾ whenever they are questioned by the corporate media about any teammate, opponent, or free agent. Palmer's highest transgression, as Bigunreal has noted, was voluntarily "working out"Â￾ with the always-annoying drama-engineer, Terrell Owens, via his own free will (and thus, lobbying for him). Normally, I'd crudely refer to Palmer as a "wigger"Â￾ for doing this"¦but I suspect that other top flight NFL QBs (Brees, Favre, Manning, Brady, Roethlisberger, etc) also spend their free time (workouts or otherwise) with non-whites.

This situation is similar to when Jason Witten, completely unprompted by the corporate media, attested that "Pacman Jones is a wonderful friend and teammate"Â￾ (or something). Does Witten care that Jones' infantile, all-black "posse"Â￾ of turds shot and permanently paralyzed a white security guard?

Did Brett Favre, the unofficial team president / owner / general manager of the Green Bay Packers, care that his only non-black receiving targets for 15+ seasons with the Packers were Mark Chumura and Bill Schroeder?

Does Carson Palmer care that his petitions for the Bengals to sign his theatrical chum (who, as I said in the Matt Jones thread, is still more talented than the majority of starting NFL WRs) may ruin the chances of both Jordan Shipley and Matt Jones?Edited by: Thrashen

What if, God forbid, Carson Palmer actually believes that Terrell Owens, one of the greatest receivers in NFL history, is a better receiver than Matt Jones, who was out of the league last year and whose career marks pale [pun intended] in comparison to those of Owens and thatOwens can help his team more at this time than Jones? After all, he's worked out with both of them now. Did any of you who want Palmer to "have a little backbone" ever consider that? Or is he supposed to secretly check in with bigunreal's latest rant attacking him and do a 180 so that we'll be happy here? Also, rememberthat Antonio Bryant, who Owens would presumably be replacing, not Matt Jones, is just as big an assclown as Owens.

Earth to bigunreal and his fellow kool-aid drinkers on this thread. Get real. White players and black players work out together all the time. This site supports White athletes, and that's just what I'm doing, supporting a White athlete from an unfair attack. If you're going to pile on Carson Palmer (again), then at least be consistent and pile on the star Whitequarterback on every team every time he endorses his team signing a black player. Me, I'll focus on the Caste System thank you.

You don't expect Palmer to be racially aware yet you expect him to meet your personal racial views and make a sacrifice that will make him uncomfortable and cost him (although less than an average Joe).

Ignoring the contradictions, why would this "sacrifice" cost him less than an average Joe, and why just Carson Palmer? Since you don't expect him to be racially aware, what would be his motivations for this sacrifice he's being criticized for not making? Let's have a thread condemning every successful White athlete for the same reasons. Edited by: Don Wassall

Palmer has been known to call out teammates (most of whom are black) in the past when he felt it was deserved. There is nothing in his past actions to suggest that he is a lackey or has a bias against white receivers. His goal, most likely, is to get the players that give him the best chance to advance into the playoffs and beyond. To say that Terrell Owens has not been a better receiver thus far than Matt Jones or Antonio Bryant, for that matter, is simply silly.

Hey Carson Palmer can do what ever the hell he wants, as can all other race ignorant white athletes and white people, and every time I have my say about it I will condemn them. Yes, I condemn each and every successful white athlete for not making the sacrifice, yes I condemn each and every white politican for not making the sacrifice. I'm not going to post every time because that would take too much time, but that is exactly how I feel. So when some body makes a post rightly condemning a white athlete about it, I will generally chime in and say HELL-YEAH!

Before the 2003 Orange Bowl, O.J. Simpson showed up at a USC practice. He had been invited by Justin Fargas' father, according to the reports. Fargas, then a USC RB was a O.J. worshiper. Simpson went out of his way to be seen with Carson Palmer, who had won the Heisman that year. Palmer looked somewhat uncomfortable around the Juice.
