If the Bengals sign Terrell Owens, it will be because Carson Palmer personally wants him. As senior Caste System talking heads Kornheiser and Wilbon breathlessly noted on Pardon The Interruption, it's "important" that Palmer is "on board" with the Bengals signing the ultimate black diva WR. Both strongly urged the Bengals to do it.
Believe it or not, Palmer has been working out with T.O. Yeah, you read that right- the lone white star of the league's ultimate thug squad isn't satisifed with being saddled with Ocho Cinco and the criminals who regularly populate Mike Brown's team roster. Now he wants REAL black drama.
Remember last season, when Palmer, on his own, requested that the team give rookie thug Bernard Scott more chances to touch the ball? He didn't mention white RB Brian Leonard, who'd just been acquired and was Scott's direct competition. Now, Palmer wants T.O., which will mean that Matt Jones has zero chance of even making the roster, and Jordan Shipley will be lucky to see snaps as a #4 WR (that's assuming Palmer doesn't decide to publicly fondle Andre Caldwell).
As I noted last year, Palmer was not just trying to protect his lucrative position then, or now. He was not asked if he thought the team should sign T.O. He forced the issue- just like he did last time. He was working out with this clown-who was unwanted by any other team and had even been widely dismissed by blacks around the league. Wouldn't it have been nice if Palmer had decided to work out with Matt Jones and/or Shipley, and publicly lauded them, urging the team to get the ball in their hands?
Carson Palmer represents all that is wrong with the white race. As a recent thread in another forum stated, WE are the enemy. This guy should be desperate for white players like Leonard, Jones and Shipley, after his steady career diet of divas like Ocho Cinco and all the despicable teammates with "character" issues he's had to deal with.
Palmer must love the thug life. After all, he has now shown, two years in a row, that he is willing to throw new white teammates under the bus, while publicly promoting the worst possible sort of black competitor. Maybe all that gangster rap music in the locker room has made his resistance weak.
I will never root for Palmer again. I hope he gets beat out by someone, anyone. There is no defense for what he did here, even if the Bengals don't sign T.O. He was not just trying to protect his job, he was actively promoting a black clown whom everyone else had practically forgotten, at the expense of two white teammates.
Without white people, there would be no Caste System. Edited by: bigunreal
