Thrashen, Solomon Kane, Don Wassall - Thank You for your kind words.

You Australians always have a chip on your puny shoulders. You are jealous the US is the top dog. You are a fool and punk.
Well done - a great display of maturity.
You've really punctured my ego now...

I'm sorry I'm thin-skinned when someone comes on an American based web site and mocks and degrades our great white soccer stars...
...It's only an opinion but Rebaljo is an anti-American troll.
Give it a rest, mate - I've explained myself at length often enough andother posters appear to see this.If You believe that somebody who doesn't agree with You about the merits of the United States national team must instantly be an
anti-American troll (whatever that is), well, there's nothing anyone can say that shall convince You otherwise. What was I doingfor 60-odd posts?Biding my time for the opportunity to unload on the United States
by criticising Your opinions about the football team?
I'm sure that Don Wassall and Solomon Kane haveread my posts in the USA vs England thread. If not, here is the link - I've got nothing to hide:

Another thing - if You are going to quote me (or anyone else, for that matter), please do it properly, without injecting Your own words into the quote itself, as You did in Your last post. Here is what I
actually wrote (the highlighted passage puts the "glittering paladins" phrase into context):

But, with all due respect, I must say that You are seriously deluded if You believe thatthere is some kind of conspiracy to rob the United States of it's rightful spot at thepinnacle ofworld football. Sorry for sounding a bit abrasive, but Your aggressively jingoistic posts are bordering on the openly insulting (although Iwill assume that this was not Your intention...).

Youkeep referring to the fact that the U.S. - as opposed to England - heroically ended Spain's "record" unbeaten streak. What exactly, pray tell, does that prove? If the U.S. played Spain in, let's say, five competitive matches per year, they certainly wouldn't rack up two wins, that's for sure. As other posters have said, upsets occur. After all, Your glitteringpaladins were done by the footballing giants of Costa Rica during the World Cup qualifiers. If You use a single game as some kind of almighty yardstick proving that the United States' team is capable of achieving that which other European nations cannot, well that speaks for itself.
You
still raise the issue of anti-American discrimination at European clubs. Do You really want to know who is being discriminated against in European club football? The answer is this:
White European players. Just look at the team sheets of the top three tiers of
any European nation. For instance, Africans and Brazilians turnout in the lower leagues of Poland. The Bundesliga is brimming with foreigners - why are only Americans supposedly excluded from the mix?

When I predicted the USA would be cheated out of at least one win ,which happened against Slovenia:"Originally posted by jwhite96
The only way the US doesn't make it out of the group stage is if FIFA decides they will not advance and the red cards start flying" this guy again with his sarcastic tone put down the USA :
" Mate, that's pure arrogance and conceit. If an English guy made such a statement regarding his team, You'd probably rupture Yourself in righteous fury.
Well, after Your eye-opening observations, I don't know if I should even bother getting up to watch the match. After all, the grossly overrated English are sure to be be torn apart by the masters of technical football, the United States. Unless, of course, FIFA cheats the Americans - again... "
When You make such a statement, what do You seriously expect people to say? "Yeah, that's right, nobody stands a chance against the United States - after all,
they beat Spain in the Confederations Cup!" ? Especially after You've spent a few posts continuously running down English players in particular and European players in general. Then, after all of Your talk about the referee being
carefully chosen, the implication being that he wasselected to screw over the United States and rig an England win, there is zero evidence of anti-American bias and, despite a subpar English performance, the U.S. only manages to "score" via Robert Green's blunder, You came up with these humble statements:

If there is any gap in ability it's England which suffers the gap. The US outplayed England. They came closer to winning the game. ... I saw US players beating English millionaire pretty boys who are slow and have no more talent than the US players...
...You are an angry English fan who will not accept England is never going to win a world cup again or even make a semifinal.
You never even acknowledged that the United States was fortunate to get a draw due to Green's basichandling error - all you couldmanage was more jingoistic insults. Guess what? To gain somesemblance of credibility, one mustdisplay at least a modicum of
objectivity.Unfortunately, You have consistently failed to do this.
I have never claimed that England are an absolutely top-draw team, nor have I claimed that the United States is sh*te. I
have stated, in response to Your praise of these players, that Jay DeMerit is a journeyman, that Edson Buddle is a no-name black who has never played outside the United States, and that another black, Jozy Altidore, has achieved nothing in Europe. Oh, yes, and that Your hero Landon Donovan is
not one of the world's leading players. If You sift through my posts, I never claimed that Donovan is
crap, simply that he is
nowhere nearworld-class. But I guess that these heinous crimes against Your sensibilities make me an anti-American troll, especially as I am posting on an American website...
I'm not attempting to be smug or superior, but consider my comments about the Socceroos. Have I ever stated that they are a brilliant team? I have provided whatI hope can be labelled as
objective analysis of Australia's games, admitting, for example, that we were rubbish against Germany and that we were fortunate that the Ghanaian goalkeeper's failure to hold Bresciano's free kick essentially gifted us a goal. How about my words on the England - Algeria match? Ah, yes, but according to You, I'm just a bitter England fan...
Anyway, once again I'd like to apologise to the other forum members for engaging in this sometimes unseemly spat with jwhite96. As I have said before, I view the United States as a decent side and am in no way insulting the United States and it's people. Best of luck to Your team.
