NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports this will confirmed in the coming days pending a last-minute snag. There's limited risk on the Chiefs end to bring him on to the practice squad, but Baker has to prove he's capable of handling himself off the field before being an actual contributor for the Chiefs down the stretch. Kansas City would be one of the best culture fits for a player like Baker who has a lengthy off-field history.

Baker got off on a technicality and is probably guilty of this crime but from I read he was being blackmailed by the lawyer representing clients that were robbed by Baker. The lawyer was playing both sides of the fence and demanded money and said he would coach his clients to feign a mistaken identity if he received money on their behalf.

A guy who make a few million dollars a year like Baker did who needs to rob people of watches for jollies or money is a ticking time bomb similar to Antonio Brown.

Giants guard Shane Lemieux got a start for the Giants. Accounts are that he held his own in the run game but could have done better in the pass game.

Lemieux was drafted in the top of the fifth round. I thought he should have gone significantly higher.

I'm looking forward to seeing how he does in future starts.

I have attended only 5 NFL games in my life and I can tell you with 100% certainly that most white fans think a black QB gives them a better chance of winning. They feel this way because they have been brainwashed through their school years and into adulthood that blacks are superior to whites. Whites have been PC into slavery.

This is as an inside linebacker, a position where players rack up big tackle numbers. 48 tackles is awful. Urlacher had 124 tackles his rookie year.

It's too soon to call a rookie a bust but Simmons is on the path...

Yeah it's zerohedge sourcing Breitbart so their bias is against the NFL but I believe the numbers and outside of Tom Brady the NFL looks to be sucking wind. In fairness, Simmons has only played 25% of his team's defensive snaps on average so far this season. But given how early he was drafted and how linebackers drafted in the first and second rounds often start right away, you're right that so far he looks like he may end up as a bust.

The only worrisome thing is that under Bridgewater the defense stepped it up, playing significantly better than before and they seemed to have stepped it up last week in 2nd half too for Winston. Hopefully they play hard with Taysom but we'll see.

Very true. Hoping that Payton is not using Hill as a decoy in this way and rather gives him a legitimate shot. My guess is Payton wants to see if Hill has the ability to be Brees successor.
