Fightingtowin, in my opinion Toby is the best white running back to come out since Luke Staley. We all know how good Staley was and how badly he got screwed. He did have injury issues but he never received any chance at all. Thankfully Toby is healthy, put up excellent Combine numbers, and is considered a running back by just about everyone.

I thought the "questions" about him were already answered during the combine when he posted some freakish numbers, especially for someone his size, outperforming the other running backs. As if he needed to answer anyone in the first place after his performance last year, being runner-up for the Heisman (should've won it) and winning the Doak Walker award.

Now that he's "proved" himself during the combine, the only possible reason why they could have him ranked so low is simply because he is White.

If NFL.com actually posted his time, that would discredit their subtle propaganda campaign against him and show them to be the racist (anti-White) affirmative-action-based league that they are.

Staley got royally screwed, not only because he was White but because he was a White RB that couldn't be converted into a FB. Luke was just to small, fast and agile to ever play FB. Toby has a better chance than Luke because he has the size and power to play FB/HB/TE or an Alstott type of role. Toby should be a featured RB but so should have Alstott, Jervey and Hester yet none of them ever got close to being the man.

Updated first page, not too many more to go now, but keep the info coming. Also if you find anything about guys working out for teams add a link! Hopefully it'll be a clue as to who'll be given their shot.

A couple of NFL Combine snuffs for LSU had workouts a few weeksbackPro Day...Hoping they might sneak into the later rounds??

*LB-Jacob Cutrera 6'-3 1/2" 238....
ran 4.53 & 4.62 (round off to 4.58?)... 35" VJ...Broad Jump 9'-10"...

Many DWF's were shocked byhis 40time; said he did not have enough speed to be an SEC LBer(only listed him at 4.7)...even as a co-starterhe was un-justly singled-out blasting away at him...even in the Bama game where he lead the team in tackles...he even got the blame when he was not on the field! That's DRUNK!

http://photos.nola.com/tpphotos/2010/03/lsufootballproday_8.html

He had a TD INT on his 1st play of the season vs Jake Locker..where he stepped in front of the pass; tipped it to himself...and returned it for TD...this was only thing I could find...in slow motion

Also...TE/FB/H-back Richard Dickson 6'-2 1/2" 249..who did not test as well..but is a tough-intense football player; played in East-West Shrine Game...caught a couple TD's in 07' National Championship Game vs Ohio StateEdited by: TwentyTwo

Hey, cynicaloptimist can you add this to the original post? As well as Willie Rose?

LUKE LIPPINCOTT HIGHLIGHTS

I was just going to put this on the highlights of players going pro thread but it seems this one is more popular this year as we can cover more White prospects because there isn't easily found footage of all of them. So it makes sense to put it on both.

I had this done a while back and have been waiting to hear back from Nevada's
WolfPackAthletics youtube channel, I asked them for a 69 yard run against Utah State and a 85 yard run against Fresno State because the footage I had were weird angles and cut off before the run finishes. They never responded back.

They pretty much ignore Luke in their videos, pretty much all highlights are of Vai Taua and Colin Kaepernick, even though Luke was a vital part of their offense this year, making it the first time in history a school has had 3 1,000 yard rushers in one season. So with the draft nearing I had to put it up without better footage of both of those runs.

Luke Lippincott is very underrated. Had 1000+ yards rushing this season splitting carries with Vai Taua, averaging 7.7 ypc with 9 tds.

In 2007 he had 1400+ rushing yards and 15 tds but suffered an injury in 08 and lost his starting job. I know its very popular for dwfs to compare a White player to another White player, but Luke Lippincott really does remind me of Craig James who I recently got footage of.

They are both 6'1 215 pounds, but still run with power of a back with 230+ pounds. Both look similar in their running styles. Craig could have had multiple 1k seasons in the NFL if it weren't for injuries (I believe that is why he declined in his career). He was the last White rb to get over 1k in a season.

The only time Ive seen him in a dwfs mock is on a Patriots forum going in the 7th round, saying he could do well in a Sammy Morris type role. In reality he should go a lot higher, but will probably wind up as an UDFA.

Watching this video, I can't see why Sean Weatherspoon is so highly regarded. He doesn't seem to be a playmaker at all but is rated as a first round linebacker. I noticed it when I made the Luke video a while back, and I noticed it when I made the Jake Sharp video.

He also allowed a ton of yards from Navy's triple option by guys like Vince Murray, but maybe he doesn't have to worry, because if the Caste system continues the way it is, he won't have to face White backs in the NFL.

People give him a slide on the Texas bowl because "no ones really familiar with the triple option" and its just "so hard to stop". Weatherspoon admitted that even though they knew what Navy was going to do, their offense somehow "made him lose his instincts"

Meanwhile Iowa's defense with guys like Klug, Angerer, Edds, Sash etc. were able to shut down GTechs triple option, that is with a top rb prospect in Dwyer. Funny how they didn't lose their "instincts"

Does anyone else have a comparison for who Luke is like as a runningback?Edited by: dwid

you guys are gonna love it:

South Florida DE Jason Pierre-Paul has reportedly failed to impress during pre-draft interview sessions with NFL teams.

Sources tell Profootballtalk that JPP has given "at times nonsensical answers to fairly basic questions," and may lack maturity. Pierre-Paul spent two years in JUCO before playing his one year at USF. Still, the defensive end position doesn't require a whole lot of intelligence. JPP safely remains a top-20 talent.

Kevin Jurovich has dropped on a lot of draft boards. He has decent speed in the 4.5 range so I really don't understand what the knock on him is. Hopefully he gets drafted in the 6th or 7th round.

I Completely agree on Jurovich WA33! I updated my rankings one last time:

A look at what this draft would look like for our guys without the caste system. Unfortunately every year phenomenal talents like Nile Knapp disappear after H.S to Div. III, the NAIA- or give up football all together due to lack of scholarships (so this isn't literally w/o a caste system). The dearth of white RBs in the FBS is saddening. The unfortunate treatment of our guys applies to most every position at times.

*Note: Anyone listed as a PFA (priority free agent) or above, has the athletic tools- AND has shown some signs of production on the field they could make it in the NFL. Usually 7th round draft picks and PFAs are "sleepers" that could turn out to be nice players, but aren't worth an early pick. If a team gives these guys proper coaching and actually gives them good opportunity- they can succeed. I will list the players ranking if they are in the top 10 at either QB, RB or WR!

The 5 year draft average for RBs is 19 drafted. The FA trend number for RBs is 35. Here is my best attempt at a fair assessment of the limited number of white RBs given a chance to be successful in NCAA football.
RB:
1. Toby Gerhart (1st round) #1 RB; The best rushing prospect in this draft. Spiller and Best aren't far behind as rushing threats and Spiller is an absolute phenom receiving and returning kicks- Still Gerhart has shown some recent encouraging signs of potential as a receiver.
2. Jake Sharp (3rd/4th round) #9 RB *Nice Pro Day; combine snub
3. Trevyn Smith (5th round) *Combine snub
4. Blake Smolen (7th round) *Also WR; combine snub
5. Luke Lippincott (7th round) *Knee injury history/turf toe
6. David McCarty (PFA)
7. Kevin Harris (FA/Tryout Player) Has shown glimpses of legit NFL potential, but struggled through injuries and caste coaching- therefore he had low productivity
8. Jared Hawkins (Possible tryout player) " " Read above
9. J.T Rogen (Possible tryout player)
10. David Sinisi (Possible Tryout Player)
11. Chad Kackert (Possible tryout player)
12. Trevor Theriot (Possible tryout player) Caste coaching and knee injury this year ruined his career after a stellar H.S career at tailback

The year of the white WR! The 5 year average for WRs drafted is 33. The FA trend for WRs is 78. There are SO MANY good white WRs this year, that some are bound to get screwed.
WR:
1. Eric Decker (1st round) #4 WR *I'd rank him higher if healthy
2. Jordan Shipley (1st/2nd round) #6 WR
3. Blair White (2nd round) #7 WR
4. Riley Cooper (2nd round) #10 WR
5. Chris McGaha (3rd round)
6. Marc Mariani (3rd/4th round)
7. Kerry Meier (4th round)
8. Tim Toone (4th/5th round)
9. Kevin Jurovich (4th/5th round)
10. Bryan Anderson (5th/6th round)
11. Ryan Wolfe (6th round)
12. Andrew Brewer (6th/7th round)
13. Pat Simonds (7th round)
14. Max Komar (PFA)
15. Brett Hamlin (PFA)
16. Austin Rogers (PFA) *Knee injury history
17. Bobby Sewall (PFA)
18. Johnny Spevak (PFA)
19. Zeke Markshausen (FA)
20. Shawn Leonard (FA)
21. Harry Von Kann (FA)
22. Trey Stross (Possible tryout player)
23. Patrick Honeycutt (Possible tryout player)
24. Rocky Ross (Possible tryout player)
25. Ryan Christian (Possible tryout player) *Also RB

12 white athletes who could be used at multiple positions:
*In order of best position to worst in my opine
1. Tim Tebow (QB/Wildcat/RB/TE/WR) 1st rd.; #3 QB
2. Dennis Pitta (TE/WR/H-Back) 2nd rd.; #5 TE
3. Dan Lefevour (QB/Wildcat/RB/WR) 2nd/3rd rd.; #6 QB
4. Jameson Konz (H-Back/TE/WR/RB/LB/S) 4th rd.; #2 H-Back
5. Kerry Meier (WR/Wildcat/H-Back/TE/QB) 4th rd.
6. Andrew Brewer (WR/Wildcat/QB) 6th/7th rd.
7. Blake Smolen (RB/WR) 7th rd.
8. Willie Rose (H-Back/RB/FB) 7th rd.; #7 H-Back
9. Cody Slate (H-Back/TE/WR) 7th rd./PFA; #8 H-Back; knee injury history
10. David McCarty (RB/WR) PFA
11. Matt Grothe (Wildcat/WR/QB) FA/Tryout player; knee injury history
12. Trevor Theriot (H-Back/RB/FB) Possible Tryout player; knee injury history and a victim of caste coaching after a stellar H.S career as a tailbackEdited by: ToughJ.Riggins

TJR, good list/assessment partner. I totally agree Toby should be drafted in the 1st round, but I think he'll slide to the 2nd round (due to the ever-present caste system).

I am looking forward to see what white players get drafted, what round and where they go. It looks to be a very black draft in the first 2 rounds. I think the % of white players drafted hovers around 25% every year. This year looks to be a down year at offensive tackle and guard. The number of prospects on the defensive line at both tackle and end are laughable...its a great possibility not one white player will be drafted at either spot. Linebacker seems a little down as well. Defensive back is never a bright spot. Once the draft is over I will go through and do a by position breakdown of white players drafted.

Erik Lorig should get drafted. After that it's coal black at defensive tackle and end. A few whites will make it into the league as free agents though.

Ive partly stolen this idea from Tough J. Riggins so I want to give him credit.

I have compiled a list of all white players by position and in what round I believe they are projected to be drafted. I have tried to be as realistic as possible. LOL sorry about that Don. I have him in the Mark Sanchez category though, just as Mark spewed about his Mexican heritage, Sam mentioned his Indian heritage. I guess Im a "purist"

I think Bradford was prodded by the media to proclaim his pride in aminiscule part of his ancestry, much like Sanchez was about his Mexican background. I doubt Sam considers himself anything but a white man, but hey it's your (and TJR's) list.
