i dunno bud, if i believed it is that corrupt i wouldn't spend another minute watching a game. they are sellouts, but to the general culture of believing that blacks are superior athletes. i do not want to believe that they are getting paid for not letting certain white players on the field. racism and discrimination? sure. a conscious corrupted effort to hold someone like Woodhead down? i don't think so. they got a guy who will never complain, who will do his job no matter what, no matter how ungrateful it is and will play his heart out. on top of that, if he plays less, DWF are not likely to kick up a fuss. hence he's a safe option to do with as they please. that's how i see it.

Well yes of coarse your right on all points. Ive had all those thoughts too, and they are all very true. Obviously.

However, these last few years have been interesting to study. A few years back white skill position guys made a tiny breakthrough.
Woodhead had a two great seasons. Hillis was an undeniable superstar. Welker had been, and continues to rewrite the record books(which led to a flood of other white WRs). For years every time Brian Leonard got the ball he looked great. Kuhn, and Nelson were instrumental in the Super Bowl run for GB. Gerhart, and Hester both dominated NCAA. Our guys had a great start. Lots of momentum.

All this, and more should have led to an influx of White skill players, and an increased roll for proven vets...
Instead its led to Pass Interference hardly ever being called in obvious racial situations. Its led to proven white stars being buried on the bench. Its led to literally countless phantom holding calls that would have been a nice gain on a white mans stat sheet. Monster performances totally ignored by all media(Hartline, Foles?).

Yes brother I believe its painfully obvious that steps have been taken to first, hinder the stats of existing white players, and second keep out up and comers.

They want it back to 1994, and once they get it back that way they must never let little accidents like Hillis, Woodhead, Welker, Hartline, Nelson, Decker, Weddle, Leonard, Cooper, and a lot of others happen again.

For now I think TE is safe, but for how long I dont know. I believe the NFLs absolute number one rule is no star white tailbacks, or corners.

Second is that if you have a badass white WR he is not allowed to be THE man on the team. Somebody name me a white WR that is the #1 option on his team other than NE. Sure there are 5 or 6 that SHOULD be, but none are.

Third is the black quarterback crusade. Its gone past the point of reason.

These coaches are not stupid men aside from the black ones, and even they arent your typical retarded negro.

Back to Woodhead specifically. Were going along good, Winning games. Our QB looks great. We got a chance at a real run for glory here. Ok, lets bench our second best offensive player for most of the game. Yeah that makes sense. Now we can lose a few in a row. No coach concerned with winning would target Woody less than 20 times a game every game.

Danny Woodhead is proving to be the best pass catching RB in the NFL with 65 receptions; can't ask for more...but he does not get to carry the ball enough to get into a rhythm. Hoping he can improve on the 3.9 avg per carry...(he did have 7 for 42 last week/6.0 avg!)Looking for him to bust a long run tonight! They need to give him a chance to utilize his Barry Sanders-like running skills with some toss-sweeps instead of always been the tackles.

Would like to see a "breakdown" of his carries....the few Chargers games I was able to catch this season...they are questionable the way they use him running. Give him 17 carries in a game & he easily goes over 100 yards!

The problem with toss sweeps and off tackle runs in the traditional sense would be for them to use him more in traditional sets instead of Matthews which I don't think is going to happen much but there was a play the Patriots used ONCE and he posted a career long of 50, a toss out of shotgun that was called a "shovel pass", it went like a few millimeters forward and called a reception. The rhythm thing, I don't think Danny needs that as much, he was used more creatively in 2010 and had some big runs, still not enough to get into a rhythm, I do believe his biggest run was not out of shotgun against the Colts. 12 to 14 touches is enough to keep me satisfied, its just HOW they use him. I would be satisfied with 1k from scrimmage a season, but with a little more on the running side. Of course I would be thrilled to see him as an every down back but I don't think we will see that, as we have seen when Matthews is out he still splits carries. But of course, it will be harder to reach 1k dividing up his touches more evenly, but thats where the scheme comes in, if he is breaking out bigger plays in the run game and averaging closer to 5.6 like his 2010 season then shouldnt be a problem.

This is the problem for Sproles as well, he often just gets carries up the gut out of shotgun to keep defenses off guard, they ran him out of singleback set last week off tackle and had a season long of 38, I think career long run for the Saints, or second longest, with one not going too much farther. Woodhead is more explosive, and looks to have more left in the tank. Off course Sproles gets more variety than Woodhead. Luckily Woodhead doesn't have many carries so that 6.0 ypc carry last week bumped him up from 3.7 to 3.9, so it wouldn't take much to get him mid 4 ypc range.

I keep posting this video to show how to use Woodhead in the running game.

Look at :31 seconds, shotgun formation with one back, Livas lined up as a wr goes in motion, its like a regular running play and the tailback lined up in shotgun is the lead blocker, that would work so well and keep defenses guessing when they are in shotgun, rather than the typical Woodhead up the gut play.

Also at 50 seconds as well. 1:13, similar to the ghost motion play with an h -back going to lead block with Livas going to the right while the halfback goes off left tackle, Livas was a little too fast for that h-back to be effective but I think with the right personnel it could work better, maybe a little more patience
3:11 out of offset I formation, similar to the ghost motion, deception and a lead blocker, 7:09, qb under center, tailback used as a lead blocker, 7:22 offset i, qb fakes the toss to the tailback going right with Livas in motion going right out of the slot with the fullback blocking, 7:31 similar to the ghost motion with a lead blocker

at :31, :50, 1:13, 3:11, 7:09, 7:22, 7:31 are the plays I am talking about in case you missed it

at 31 seconds and 50 seconds are my favorite, I just get tired of seeing quick and fast scatbacks like Woodhead get minimized in the run game with just quick draws up the gut to keep the defense honest out of shotgun, they could do so much more with some space to run

In this case, maybe I could see Ronnie Brown lined up a little more, maybe for the plays where he would be the up the middle threat or the option to be the lead blocker depending on what play, and on the ghost motion what Rivers reads the defense as doing, which is what it is, an option play, the qb reads what the defenses are reacting to and decides which back to handoff to, not sure how great Matthews is up the gut, and not sure how good of a lead blocker he would be.

Running up the gut, even if he does get to the second level, its more about quickness than straight line speed which Woodhead has plenty of, wideouts simply aren't that great of blocking, so you have like at least 4 guys to have to make miss. If he ran more conventional plays getting to the second level he would have one or two, which is what we saw in the Jets preseason game, and he had some big runs.

but these plays change that, he can run out of shotgun lined up in the slot like he often does, and still run conventional running plays that a regular halfback does, he would break some long ones. Livas just wasn't that talented, otherwise due to his skin color hed be in the league due to his special teams ability, these plays would produce some big things with Woodhead and to a lesser extent Sproles.

Imagine a shotgun play with Woodhead in the slot running off tackle with the other back being the lead blocker!

Im going to post this in the Woodhead thread so it doesn't get lost. If coaches cared about winning they would take notice because this would benefit whoever is lined up at tailback as well . I brought this up on the Saints forum but inserted Sproles name instead of Woodhead, and they ran the ghost motion play several times against Carolina for the first time in years, a play they used to run with Deuce McCallister up the middle and Reggie in the slot on the end around. This kept defenses off guard and not only benefited Bush but also Deuce, with defenses starting to key in on the end around Drew would handoff to Deuce and he would have smooth running up the middle, so this could benefit Matthews as well. They didn't use Sproles but had a wr come on the end around, it caught the defense off guard and kept them guessing. It had been since 2006 since they really ran it and after the post with others commenting, the Saints ran it. Maybe I should post it on the main Chargers board.

coaches have been willing to utilize new things from college and even high school, so this shouldn't be any different. He isn't just a Kevin Faulk and Im afraid he wont be used to his potential ever. I mean just look at him running routes like that jump ball he caught the other week, he is 10x the player of Dexter McCluster or a Davone Bess, and McCluster has been used in a variety of ways hybrid rb/wr, mediocre at both. He could be a full time slot guy if they wanted to and put up 1k, but why not utilize both skillsets?

I know this is a long post but anyone interested in schemes and how Woodhead could be better utilized and not necessarily be utilized in just a "traditional way" to get some bigger plays with staying in a similar role as a tailback in shotgun and lined up in the slot, should read it read and watch the video.

If anyone has an account on a Chargers board feel free to post it, I am going to try to sign up soon, not sure what their main board is like with the Saints.

There's been a lot of hand-wringing and angst about Woodhead's declining YPC and lack of big plays the last couple of seasons. Danny turns 29 this month, and I'm concerned that much of his prime was wasted by the Caste System. Speed running backs prime is 21-26 years old. This year we saw a marked decline from Jones-Drew (28), Chris Johnson (28), Sproles (30), and even Ray Rice (27). The difference between breaking a long run and being tripped up is milliseconds. Due to his recent emergence, we forget that Woodhead is well past his prime when it comes to speed backs.

Much of the aging of running backs is the abuse they take by being a workhorse back. Danny for the most part has been sparred this abuse. Now losing some speed is naturally after all look at sprinters at the same age.

Interestingly you mention the age 29. I know John Riggins wasn't a speed back, but he did run a 9.8, 100 yard dash, which is equivalent to about a 10.8, 100 meters. That's pretty fast for a RB of his size!

Riggins revitalized his career with a 1,000 yard season at the age of 29 and went on to have 4 more 1,000 yard seasons beyond 29!

Here's hoping Woodhead 29, Leonard 29, Hillis 28, or Gerhart 26, gets a shot at becoming a feature back before their career is over!

I caught a few minutes of ESPN’s “NFL Live” yesterday. The show was hosted by black-looking mystery meat, Jonathan Coachman. How apropos that ESPN hired a former WWE employee. Here is an image from his days as a “pro wrestling” announcer/personality…

CAPTION: ESPN’s Jonathan Coachman – Master of Scripted Reality

Alongside Coachman were the forever-ignoble weirdo, Mark Schlereth and an elderly-looking Jewish newcomer named Adam Caplan...

EI_195651_20130730_JF1_0723.jpg

CAPTION: “Caplan” = Supremely Common Ashkenazi Surname

Anyway, the “boys” were discussing the San Diego Chargers and specifically the future of RB Ryan Matthews, who has one year remaining on his contract. Caplan kept screaming that the Chargers should re-sign Matthews and Ronnie Brown because: “Darren Sproles is long-gone and they have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING else behind Matthews and Brown at running back!” He repeated this line, very passionately, with great emphasis placed upon the words “absolutely nothing” at least different three times. Of course, nobody disagreed with him or mentioned Danny Woodhead and his 106 carries, 429 rushing yards, 2 rushing TD’s…nor his 76 catches, 605 receiving yards, and 6 receiving TD’s.

That’s 182 touches for 1,034 yards and 8 TD’s. Wait, silly me, those stats constitute “absolutely nothing!” according to a certain rotund, 50-something year old Heeb with womanly glasses, a tangled Jew-Fro, a Shylock nose, a double chin, and a $5,000 suit…

Caplan for many years earned his living in the fantasy football industry, where he was reliably, one hundred percent pro-Caste in his opinions of the players and their potential. In recent years he's slid into more straight network jobs, though it was quite obvious this past season that the NFL Network and ESPN have embraced fantasy football with a passion, realizing it's one of the main reasons the NFL maintains its popularity over other pro sports.

I have yet to come across a fantasy football "bigwig" who wasn't a Caste clown, though there are some individual writers who are fairly objective.

Woodhead gets a contract extension. From Rotoworld

Chargers signed RB Danny Woodhead to a two-year contract extension through 2016.

Financial terms are not yet available, though Woodhead is currently scheduled to make $1.75 million this season. That figures to be bumped up. Heading into his age-29 campaign, Woodhead set new career highs with 76 catches and 106 carries in 2013. He'll remain the Bolts' primary passing-down back this season. Woodhead is an RB2/3 in PPR leagues.

Glad to see that Woody is excelling and getting paid for it. One of the few reasons that I will be tuning in at all this year.

Danny getting some props for next season, with the prospect of losing Ryan Mathews, and Donald Brown being an admitted bust:

http://www.boltsfromtheblue.com/2014/12/30/7468009/san-diego-chargers-free-agency-running-back

"The smartest thing for the Chargers to do to try and rehabilitate their running game is to start looking at every RB that's not Danny Woodhead as a nameless, faceless, expendable player that will perform well if the line in front of him performs well."

Woodhead was sorely missed this season around these parts. I hope his recovery is going well and he comes back better than ever.

Imagine Danny in a real NFL offense with a full back as lead blocker or a running/passing game threat like Kuhn is for GB?

Some good news on Woody. He's still only 30, so hopefully he has a few more good years in the tank. From weenieworld.

Danny Woodhead has been one of the "pleasant surprises" for the Chargers during offseason workouts.

Woodhead is back to 100 percent after breaking his leg and ankle in Week 3 last season. He has flashed "quickness and elusiveness" at OTAs, setting himself up for a major role as the Chargers' passing back -- a role in which he caught 76 balls in in 2013. Melvin Gordon profiles as an early-down back for now.

This article was posted on nfl.com and it has the typical caste speak as usual. Still good news that he looks 100% healthy. I would love to see him have a career year!

Woodhead is back after breaking his right ankle in Week 3 last season, and he looked sharp on Friday. The 5-foot-8 (generously listed) running back of Hard Knocks fame enters his eighth year in the league and is in position to be a frequent target of Philip Rivers out of the backfield, especially on third down. On Friday, Rivers looked Woodhead's way more than he did any other back or receiver, finding him on check-downs out of the shotgun and motioning him all around the formation. Woodhead showed steady hands and pulled in all but one ball thrown his way. However improbable it might sound (or have sounded), the pride of Chadron State College is now a solid veteran in this league and an important part of San Diego's plans.

NBC Sports is in mid-season form when it comes to demeaning and racist references to White football players, and Danny of course is in full humble mode:

Danny Woodhead
AP

Danny Woodhead proved two years ago he was more than a mascot.

Last night, he proved he’s on his way back.

The Chargers running back, who missed most of last year with a broken leg, scored a touchdown on his only carry of the night. That was enough for a team that missed his effort and productivity last year.

“It was great to see the little fellow run between the tackles again,†D.J. Fluker said, via the team’s official website.

Woodhead made a one-cut-and-go move to walk into the end zone against the Cowboys, sparking hope that he’d return to the form he showed in 2013. Then, he caught 76 passes, and finished the year with 1,296 all-purpose yards and eight touchdowns.

That and his diminutive stature made him a cult hero, and he was in old form last night, making sure to thank his linemen like a good cult hero should.

“I feel really good,†he said. “It’s been a long process, but I feel really good. It was great to get out there and get in the end zone, . . . Whenever we go in we think we’ve got a good guy in there. It doesn’t matter who it is. We’re a very unselfish group, and that’s what you want; a bunch of guys who are about the team and not about themselves. That’s what we have, and we’re very fortunate with the guys we have.â€

And the Chargers are fortunate to have him back, after losing running back Ryan Mathews in free agency to the Eagles.

Darin gannt is one of the "journalists" over at profootballtalk that i cannot stand. He more often than not tries to mock and humiliate white players. I post on stories over there sometimes just to make sure they know how stupid they are. That site is like the tmz of professional football. Just a bunch of hack dweeb white jock sniffers towing the nbc line of cultural Marxism and anti white discrimination as sanctioned by their nbc overlords.

Haha, yeah, too bad it was deleted because it was a great highlight package of all his dynamic rushes/receptions against the all-black Dolphins. Here's one of only the TDs, but be sure to MUTE your computer while watching, as there is some vile N-music playing...

Rookie mega-bust, Melvin Gordon, was just placed on IR. Theoretically, you'd imagine that Woodhead should see plenty of action in the final 2 weeks...but we know how that goes.

You weren't kidding. That rapper must of said "nigga" 20 times during a 44 second clip. LOL. Someone should buy him a thesaurus from Christmas (or Kwanza).

I was perusing an article about Tim Tebow allegedly pursuing a pro baseball career and came across this ridiculous slight against RB Danny Woodhead...

"Any time you can get the words “worth ethic,” “leadership,” “competitiveness,” “passion” and “desire” into one breathless press release, you know you’re talking about Tebow (or maybe Danny Woodhead)."

Link: http://thecomeback.com/nfl/oh-boy-tim-tebow-is-actively-pursuing-a-pro-baseball-career.html

Danny ran a 4.2 40 yard dash out of college, possess elite quickness, led all NFL running backs in receiving yards last season (755 yards), rushed for another 336 yards, scored 9 TDs, and was a top 5 fantasy RB in PPR leagues. Oh, and he accomplished all this despite only playing on 3rd downs and during the hurry-up offense. Must've been all that "work ethic" and "desire."

Here's the author, Alex Putterman (probably an Ashkenazi Jew)...
