In France we speak french so english is not our mother tongue so maybe you should calm down and understand that Rcsman used a wrong word to describe the same thing as you....
We all agree Lemaitre did not improve, and I admit he has regressed, but elitespeeder that talks about mediocrity, it's a shame. 10'13 and 20'08 is far from mediocrity, and we should have respect for all athlets whatever their levels, especially when we haven't acomplished anything.
I'm pretty sure none of us is able to run a 100m under 11sec btw
For Christophe, what can we say ? He and his coach know perfectly that he is not as fast as before, they tried but he did not work.
Will he change coach ? Will it be better considering Christophe seems to be very atatched to Carraz? I don't know.
I understand we are all sad to not see him doing like before but it's probably way harder to accept for him
Let s cross fingers that next year will his.
Wow! the stubbornness of some of you is mind boggling...what is so difficult to understand? He has regressed 3+years! In the 60, in the 100 and his supposed strength, the 200....common sense states when something is not working you must change in order to make some progress or at least try a new approach 360...my god what ignorance!
We all agree Lemaitre did not improve, and I admit he has regressed
You even quoted me...anyway, don't want to start a fight with you....
Carraz has assistants to help him, he does'nt train Lemaitre alone.
What if,
What if the true, the sad true, but what if the prime of Christophe was 3 years ago, and that he just regressed naturally, whatever training, powerlifting he does...
We have a lot of examples that illustrate this phenomenom, that strange thing that made some guys peak at a very early age and then they struggle to be as good as when they were young.
The best example is obviously Shirvo, that was 10'03 at 19 and then...
I obviously hope am wrong and next year Christophe will be a sub-10 guy again
I hope Im wrong too!
Don't compare Shirvo to Lemiatre, Shirvo was a straight power short distance guy, he did not have that natural top end speed like Lemaitre. Shirvo was also very strong, doing Squats with over 400 pounds at a bodyweight of 175. Also, Lemaitre ran sub 10 more than once and sub 20 more than once...he should not have regressed this quickly
"he should not have regressed this quickly" :faint2:
you are a clown

Well it is not as Bad as it looks! IGNORANT! The race was done aganist the wind at -.09 which equates to a .14 of added time due to the positioning of the sun while the earth was rotating at a slower pace in contrast to the solar flares. The Barometric pressure was .19828 which would deduct another .00001 off his time, that, plus, the socks he wore for this race was bright yellow rather than yellow/orange, again deduct .001 off his time, so technically Lemaitre has made progress as his real time would of been 20.001 meaning best for the year! IGNORANT XENOPHOBE!
PS: Lemaitre added 2 pounds to his squat and ran the cones .0001 faster against the wind. He is on pace for a great 7th place in the 100 and 5th in the 200 come RIO 2016...that is if he makes past the 1st round
Euro champs were 1 or 2 weeks ago.Christophe says he's tired (8 races in 6 days in european championship), so 20.24 (-0.9) it's a good race, congratulation to Christophe and Carraz

Why is he still tired? Lack of motivation? He should be happy to run.
Also I heard him complaining about his calves burning very early when running.
LOL! LOL! LOL! how could I predict your response....so sad.... but funny! LOL!

yes ELITE SPORT is more tiring than track and fields (video game)
sorry for your ignorance
Why is he still tired ?
Christophe ran 6 X100M and 4X200M in 2 WEEKS !!
Euro championships ended on august 17th. Ten days is not enough to recover?
Remember, Carraz said before the champs that Christophe was not totally ready because they were late on their planning but Christophe would peak just after the champs. And now that the champs are over we are told that Christophe is tired. Disappointing...
20'24 with the wind and all the races he did in 2 weeks is a crazy performance, he is not 20 anymore, and the recovery is longer at 24.
I think you have the highest testosterone level at 23/24. Afterwards it's going downhill.
I think Christophe is mental(ly) tired, not only phyiscal(ly) ("burning calfs").
