Christophe ran 19.44
19.44 in 4X200M (Bahamas)
I've said this for years . . . it's always struck me that Lemaitre always looks more tired, breathing more heavily at the end of a race, than any of the other participants.
I don't why, but it's been apparent for years.
This video is better

Last week, Christophe ran 2X100M and 2X200M + Jet lag
Between the relays and the 10.16, this is the best Christophe has looked at the start of the season in years. It will be nice to see him go sub-10 and sub-20 again. To me, the relays showed he's ready to run the 200 with anyone. And he's flying completely under the radar. I think he's been forgotten outside of France and could really surprise some people.
Christophe looks good...time will tell...He seems to run better in these small club races. He did the same this winter where he ran 6.57 in his opening, then against major competition, he couldn't break 6.65...I think he will be very competitive in the 200 this year with a possible 19.9, but I don't see him going under 10 in the 100.
PS: Not to start trouble with my buddy but Carraz has stated himself that if Lemaitre does not live up to expectations this year, that the fault lies with him, his coaching and his current club and will leave Aix-Les Bains, something he should of done 3 years ago....but what do I know
"I think he will be very competitive in the 200 this year with a possible 19.9, but I don't see him going under 10 in the 100. "
Perfectly shows the difference between club sprinters and someone of world class top speed.
Pessoneaux must have been injured. He was virtually jogging

I would like to see the video of his 200m leg in the Bahamas. It must have been amazing.
Hopefully, he's FINALLY in form this year.
But, he still needs to improve his start and drive at the beginning of the race. We have no idea if he's improved that part of his race based on relays where he has a running start. I would also like to see how he ran the curve on the relay, because that's been a sore spot for him.
Fingers crossed.
yes, he looks like he has the weight of the world on his shoulders when he lines up for international competition.
If you are behind to start you don't catch up in world class company
Carraz even stated that training in the winter in France is not good for Lemaitre's starting power...He need a warm environment, all year round to work on the starts, as the starts are a pure explosive, power based movement.
