I kind of wanted to know what everyones take on this was. Now all of us here cheer for white players, but is there anyone here thats still a fan of a specific team. With me, everyone here knows that I'm CF's resident Dolphins fan due to being born and raised in Miami. I know FootballDad has stated that he's a former Kansas City Chiefs fan that no longer has an allegiance to a team but instead roots for white players in general. I too root for white players and I follow them on this board, but my team allegiance to the Dolphins is one of those things thats just so hard for me to shake. Yes, I hate that caste GM Jeff Ireland has made this team coal black, but there are a few bright spots such as Tannehill and Hartline. I think the only way I could see myself turning away from the Dolphins completely is if they drafted a black quarterback to be the teams future. Even then it would only be temporary as most black quarterbacks fall on their faces and he would hopefully be replaced by a white QB. I obviously don't consider myself to be a DWF as I am aware of the systematic racism whites face in this league. I would like to see the Dolphins become a whiter team and I would like to see the league become whiter as well in general. Remember in this day and age with player turnover, a coal black team can turn fairly white relatively quickly. You just need the right front office in charge of things. But I've even noticed that some white friendly teams like the Patriots and Texans are starting to get darker. I guess what I'm trying to ask is that has everyone here given up on team allegiances entirely and can you be a non-DWF while still being a fan of a certain team, even if you don't like how that team is run?

I was a giants fan. I guess in some ways I still am. I know they aren't the most popular team on this board but I think they are better than most other nfl teams. At least in allowed positions. O-line, fb, qb, te and a few token role players on defense. I think their draft was pretty white although they tend to totally mistreat some of their white players but try to find a team that doesn't.

Used to be a Steelers fan before growing up and developing complete awareness of the caste system. Now I only root for white players.

Also love the Bills as a kid...had a somewhat sentimental connection to them until they drafted a black quarterback this year. Wish them 3-4 years of mediocrity until a new regime comes in and brings a white QB with them.

I was a hardcore Eagles fan since I was a kid. I remember finding out about this site (think I did a search for white tailbacks), looking at it for ten minutes and shaking my head thinking I'll never go back to that site again! I think the biggest thing for me to get my head around at the time was the whole "why would any team not play the best players even if they happened to be white" thing that we all go through at first. I remember being a regular vistor and somewhat regular poster on this site and still being a hardcore Eagles fan--I remember jumping up and down in my living room when the Eagles played the Cardinals in Reid/Mcnabb's 5th trip to the NFC Championship game! The thought of rooting for those 2 now makes me sick!

Anyway, everyone has their own transition time. It's not something I forced, I just slowly stopped caring about "my team" and started rooting only for "our team." I'll admit, I now own a restaurant and when the Eagles do good, I do good so I have this whole internal struggle where I hope they win and lose at the same time now. Hopefully Barkley or Foles and Riley Cooper will get a shot and I won't have to deal with the dichotomy.

Being an Eagles fan has to be especially tough for a non-DWF. You guys have had nothing but black quarterbacks forced on you since Ron Jaworski was forced out in favor of Randall Cunningham.

I didn't care back then. I loved Randall Cunningham, I was just a kid who didn't understand football. Here was this scrambling, running "playmaker" (who never won a playoff game in his career with the Eagles btw) that the media loved who was on my team! By the time Mcnabb was picked 2nd overall I understood that black Qbs sucked (still remember making a bet with my college roommates that no black Qb would win a Super Bowl over the next ten years, that was about 15 years ago!) but I still rooted hard for Mcnabb. I was a DWF.

Randall was the first video game qb that could put up great combined stats and flash brilliance on individual plays but was never truly consistent like the elite qb's were. His greatest season was the one season where he started and played in the pocket and should have led the Vikings to a Super Bowl appearance. He was still better than Vick ever was or will be.....:scared:

I grew up a Dallas Cowboys fan. I'm probably one of the older CF members and I can remember guys like RB Walt Garrison, WR Golden Richards, Safties, Charlie Waters and Cliff Harris, DL guys Randy White, John Dutton, LB's Bob Breunig and D.D. Lewis and of course the great QB Roger Staubauch and Coach Tom Landry.

Can anyone here imagine a mostly white Dallas Cowboy team? I know it's hard for you younger guys to believe, but it used to be.

It's very difficult to still be the Cowboy fan I was in the seventies and early eighties!

I also remember those 70's Dolphins teams being very white....Griese, Czonka, Kiick etc...

The Dolphins with the exception of the current Jeff Ireland reign of horror and the Nick Saban era always seemed to have a fair amount of white players. Even Jimmy Johnson (who is no favorite of mine) would probably be considered white friendly by today's caste standards. His Dolphins teams consisted of guys like Marino, Zach Thomas, Trace Armstrong, and a mostly white O-line. That is why I despise the direction this team is going in under Ireland. I know I complain a lot about him on this forum but I truly feel that it is GM's like him that are destroying the NFL. They are the ones in charge of player personnel, even more so than the coaches are. Sometimes the coach takes the blame for a team sucking, but when you have a caste GM who picks players who suck, its hard to win with the deck stacked against you like that.

Although I was only 5-6-7 years old during their various Superbowl runs, I liked the Bills in the early 1990’s...probably because my dad liked them. A few years later, in elementary school and middle school, I liked the Packers and even owned a Bill Schroeder jersey and some merchandise. When the team featured Jason Sehorn, Sean Bennett, and Joe Jurevicious, I also liked the Giants. That said, I’ve never been to an NFL game. Around age 16-17, when my racial views began to flourish, I dropped all allegiance to any team.

With ground-breaking white-friendly teams such as the 2011 Patriots (which featured two 1,000-yard white receivers, a reserve white WR, a white RB, white CB, lily-white OL, great white QB, etc), one can easily fall into rooting for a franchise instead of white players. It’s very important to never blur the line.

Like Toby Hillis said, the transition time is different for everybody. Growing up in SoCal, I never warmed up to any California teams, back then being the Raiders, Rams, Chargers, and 49rs. I liked the Chiefs for some strange reason (probably because my sister hated them with their red pants) but since they sucked for pretty much the entire 70's and 80's, I had to glom on to whatever team was interesting. Although I was a true DWF, I always had an attraction to the whiter teams. Larry Czonka and Jim Kiick were my absolute favorite backfield tandem in the early 70's.
It wasn’t until the caste system hit me in the face with my 7 year old (at the time) son playing football as a running back that I saw the light, and then a few years ago found this site.

I have followed Detroit sports teams for nearly 50 years. It's all most people talk about around here, and in a society where so much of what really needs to be talked about is off the table, the local sports teams are the one subject you can converse about with nearly everybody.

I long ago dropped much enthusiasm for the local teams. Excepting of course the Red Wings who I can support without reservations. But the direction of the Lions, Pistons, UM Wolverines, and recently unfortunately the Tigers, leaves me with no loyalty for them.

But I still have friendships that are based around the sports affiliations of many years ago. There are still parties, family gatherings, after work get togethers, that are based around the latest games of the local sports teams. I would have to give up many social relationships if gave it up completely.

If it wasn't for CF I probably would be a "sports hater". I meet those people once in while, guys that DESPISE sports and take pride in not knowing the names or players or status of the local sports teams. Intentionally giving a middle finger to the sports-media complex. Often those guys are politically aware and realize that sports is just bread and circuses.

While I sympathise with that approach, and actually practiced it many years ago for a short while. I think being a critic of the caste system is more effective then being a non-factor. Although it is still supporting the whole crooked system at least it allows one to be an informed opponent.

I use to be a Cowboys/Mavericks, and Oilers/Rockets fan. I remember being 8 years old, and finding out that the players were from all over the place. In other words the Dallas Cowboys werent a bunch of country boys from the Dallas area. That was the abrupt ending of my rooting for a team based on geography. I honestly have zero understanding of rooting for a team full of guys from every corner of the nation simply because they are based in my city.

I think you hit the nail on the head with this. With the Dolphins, I'll always support the team as a source of civic pride. However, if the team becomes entirely black, I'll definitely voice my displeasure and I'll boycott them by not going to the games or buying any more merch (which I'm already doing anyway) I'll also be a vocal critic of them on non-PC forums such as Caste Football. Like you said, we may still be somewhat supporting the system by watching and talking about the league, but we are at least informed about what is going on.

Same boat. I still support the Giants on an elementary basis but will root against them if they face a notably Whiter team like the Broncos, Patriots or Packers.

Of course, it is especially hard to be a Redskins fan. I think I have always been at least somewhat racially aware when it came to sports. I would always instinctively root for white athletes and would cheer for Chris Cooley more than anyone else on the Redskins by far.

What really cemented my awareness of the Caste system was when Todd Collins took over for the injured Campbell and led the 5-7 Redskins to the playoffs, only to be benched the next year for Campbell again.

I loved watching the Patriots and when I first began following the NFL religiously was the first season Wes Welker began playing for the Patriots.

But it is hard to be a Redskins fan (dan Snyder makes it even harder...). I would always cheer hard against Campbell and hope we would get a white QB. But then he was replaced with McNabb..and then RGIII...so I've just about given up hope at this point. It helps that all of our division foes are very black too so there is no conflict in rooting for the Skins against them. Indeed, I think the whole NFC is blacker than the AFC.

I grew up a (hardcore) Falcons & (th)UGA (black)Dawgs 'fan' (quasi-DWF). I had a small inclination towards being 'aware' growing up, but never (fully) applied it to sports...until I discovered CF.

Nowadays, I keep up with some college ball (mostly "Caste" match-ups) & even less NFL. I pull for the "Whitest" NFL, college & NBA teams (+ certain players). The caste system has really soured my (once) fervor for most sports. :icon_confused: The only sports I kind of follow these days are (some) football and MMA. I'll never give another dime to (the major) pro sports (tickets, merchandise, etc.). The primadonna players are grossly overpaid & the owners are egomaniacs who push the caste system.

nuh, I still think it's fun to root for our childhood teams..
But w/that said, I think it is stupid & embarassing the length that rooting for those teams can go to,.. It's strange to me, when I visit another grown man's house, and every square inch of plastic, wood, or cloth in there.. is Steelers black & gold, or has Cowboys stars all over it.

I find it's easier to identify w/college teams. If you're alumni, or have a close family member who went to the school, you have a tangible connection to that program and school. And (imo.) there's a stronger connection to regional pride/identity with college sports, than w/a pro franchise that could move in a hurry, (or is a recent transplant to your area), so..

Because I spent time in Pre-Mexican Los Angeles/Anaheim as a kid I became a fan of the two LA teams but then they both moved! I then became an accidental Patriots fan mostly out of a reaction to the hate being directed at their then QB, Drew Bledsoe. I was a casual Pats fan for a year or two before they won the Super Bowl. Having said that I don't go for the whole fandom idea. My fandom is conditional on the make-up of the team in question.

One of the most disappointing moments of my last 5 years was when I became reunited with one of my best buddies from High School whom I hadnt seen in 10 years. THis guy was the 2 guard, and I was the point guard in school, and we were very close. Well when I got to his families home I was first shocked to see he had gain about 100 pounds of fat since school. But the really sickening thing about him was the decor of his home. Lebron James EVERYTHING! Im talking posters, pictures, jerseys, bobble heads, furniture EVERYTHING. Even a little shrine in like a built in bookshelf of Lebron stuff. Mixed in with all this was maybe 4 or 5 photos of his wife, and kids.

Still I was glad to see the guy, and meet his family. We ate and reminisced awile, and then he puts a Lebron documentary on his giant tv. At this point I started making minor little comments about how I think Lebron is slightly over rated. His face showed he didnt like that. As the documentary went on he just kept praising him to the point of worship. Eventually he made the comment, and Ill never forget this "Id let Lebron knock my wife up if we got to raise the kid as our own".

At that point I laughed out loud, shook his hand, told him it was good to see him thanks for the hospitality, and left that house and havent contacted that cuckold since.

I remain a fan of the UGA Bulldogs. I went to school there, and have witnessed the blackening of the team, much like the rest of the SEC, over the course of my lifetime. I think staying a part of a fanbase helps to spread the word. I take pleasure in pointing out the achievements of the few remaining white players, while demonstrating the obvious ways they are discriminated against. My idea of a great game is one in which Georgia's white players deliver outstanding performances, and they win, despite good performances from the opponent's white players. Last year's UGA vs. Tennessee game was perfect. Both teams led by white receivers catching passes from white quarterbacks, against all black secondaries. That was much fun.

Been a Packer fan since 72, but the fervor diminishes as the caste system is now beyond parody. If they were a coal black social engineering outfit like the Steelers or such I wouldn't even turn on the radio for them. Which is ironic in a way since my two favorite players from the Favre era are Edgar Bennet and Driver. And no that is not some DWF "Superfan" BS, I have been racially aware since childhood, and I'm secure enough that I am a fairly objective man. I remember looking at the mediocre 1985 Pack team photo and doing a headcount and it was 55% white. With today's demographic shift and cultural shift I would say 45% would be a fair average and if that were so I would enjoy the NFL, but now it sucks, hard.

Brian Noble the ex-Packer LB played for some HS in Anaheim and then went to AZ. He admitted he was bummed beyond words when the sucky Packers drafted him in 1985. But years later he was talking about the riots of 92 and how his dad owned a business in LA and you can tell he was an angry man at the changes to what once was white man's paradise. Then he seemed to love GB.
