Hear you Beyond, but what you're talking about is like going off-grid, culturally and entertainment wise. There's a lot of compromises made in this rats nest we live in. I look at it strategically rather than tactically. I save my energy for the fights of relatively greater importance. When my kids were young I took them to Disney World even though I know poor Walt would flip if he knew what the Sodomites have done to his vision. I make sure though that none of my investments are even remotely connected to Mickey Rat Kingdom as my way of "fight the power."
Target was never a place I went shopping, but now it's a-no-go-zone for me. As for BSPN, I will continue receiving it in the cable-con package that these companies offer until the time a-la-carte style choice allows us the decision making to remove the chaff from the wheat. Look at it like your taxes, we pay for some things we approve of, and a lot of evil we didn't ask for.
I will also flag ESPN and Target in my investment portfolios as I do with Disney and other Corporate enemies going forward.

First of all, it didn't even rate an article in an issue most of which is a tribute to Muhammad Ali, appearing in the Scorecard section. It starts off by criticizing France, a favorite pastime of establishment liberals and conservatives in the U.S., namely the rainy weather during the tournament, the lack of a roof over any of the courts, a national transit strike, and a brief power outage during television coverage one day.

Then old reliable Wertheim devotes the bulk of his piece to lamenting Serena Williams' loss to Garbine Muguruza, who isn't even mentioned until the end of the long section on Williams. Djokovic's win finally comprises the last third of the article, with the achieving of the "Djoker Slam" not being mentioned until the next to last paragraph. Quite a contrast to all the excitement surrounding the "Tiger Slam" in 2000, and Serena's attempt to win the calendar slam last year.

It's a standard boilerplate example of ideological orthodoxy -- downplaying White athletes, greatly over-playing black ones, mixed with a dose of French bashing for good measure.

On "Total Access" tonight, Woodley gave his "top five defensive players," and neither Luke Kuechly nor J. J. Watt made the cut. Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe have a new (unwatchable) show on Fox Sports 1 called "Skip and Shannon: Undisputed." I fundamentally detest Sharpe and figured it would be interesting to watch a few seconds of this unfunny, inarticulate, Ebonics-breathed know-nothing in an expanded speaking role. It only took a few seconds for him to insult various white athletes...

Bayless is a Cowboys fan and during a discussion about the team, Shannon Sharpe, the former affirmative action commentator on CBS's ever-putrid "NFL Today" (where he was well known for his marble-mouthed denigration of white athletes, particularly when video highlights were being shown) referred to Cole Beasley as "Measly Beasley" and called Jason Witten a "big, slow, lumbering, unathletic tight end." Bayless defended them both. I'm no fan of Bayless, either, but he's a staunch supporter of the Patriots and Tim Tebow, so there are times when I like the guy.

Mr. Sharpe is probably just jealous that Witten has four 1,000-yard seasons and Sharpe only has three. They both played 14 seasons.

Sharpe is an open BLM and "Kaepernick Nation Anthem" supporter. Now he's branded an undrafted white player as "Measly Beasley," despite the fact that Cole is on pace for about 1,100 receiving yards this season and has been a vital cog in the development of black rookie QB, Dak Prescott.
