Carson with some good runs that drive. Too bad he got stopped at the goal line but the Falcons did a good job loading up. 11 for 47 with a respectable 4.3 yards per carry. For the Falcons, Troy Andersen is in WTM mode with 9 total tackles early in the 3rd.

So far so good for Steele. If he keeps this up, continues to average 4+ ypc with no mistakes, he’s primed to keep getting these carries. Next week, and so on.

Steele has been an absolute monster in pass protection too.
Credit to Crissy for highlighting that block. Steele has played VERY well in his first NFL start. 64 yards rushing. If he can break one, we’re looking at a 100 yard game possibly.

His excellent pass pro is a big asset in his favor. And he is indeed having a nice rushing game in spite of not having a single semi-long run.

Ball State was the only school willing to let Steele play running back. Power 5 schools wanted him to play linebacker. Ball State built Steele. Great kid. Great competitor

Steele ends the game with 17 for 72, a solid 4.2 ypc! Had some good pass block reps, and caught a pass for 2 yards.

Good game for Steele. That performance should retain him the starting role for next week!

Blankenship seems to really have a knack for those diving interceptions.
He sure does! Blankenship started doing that his Freshman season 2017 at Middle Tennessee vs Syracuse highlighted here of CF! Kept eye on em ever since. He should have been a 4th or 5th Round Draft pick...of course he went undrafted; but figured he could make a NFL Roster!

Not sure WHO? wrote this....
2020 Bednarik Award and Jim Thorpe Award watchlists.[1] He was projected a mid-round pick for the 2021 NFL draft, but he decided to return for one more season.
2021 he had a MONSTER season..... Led Nation in Tackles for DBs! So how did he go from "Mid-Round pick" to the next season going Undrafted ? Weird huh!

CHECK THIS OUT!
Reed Blankenship is the first Eagles defensive back with 6 interceptions in his first 28 career games since Eric Allen had 12 in 1988 and 1989. Reed has 5 INTs since opening day 2023, and everybody else on the team combined has 6.

>>>So happy for Carson Steele! Feed Thor the ball in my group txt!
Going undrafted wondered if he should have returned to UCLA another year...
But when i found out he Signed w KC; knew he landed in a spot he might thrive! He an Pacheco have similar smash-mouth running styles.

When Brady made that comment on the obvious great play by the "fullback." That young man has wheels.

Maybe him saying that about the “fullback” having wheels while meanwhile Ezekiel Elliot is average around 2 ypc will take people up. Luepke is bigger, stronger and faster than the running backs ahead of him. He is simply better.

Will he ever get a chance?

Three of the four QBs on these Monday Night tilts are white. But watch out for that supa-dynamic Commanders QB! As I write, the white cracka WR McCaffery bails him out with a 30 yard reception.
