I haven't seen anything about Trey Cunningham
I heard the commentator (in the 200) mention Fahnbulleh's average stride as being 2.90m versus 2.69m of Bolt. An 8" longer stride.
Does anyone know what happened to Trey Cunningham?
I haven't seen anything about Trey Cunningham
about to make major break throughs.
Yes that is like a moon stride. Amazing to cover that much ground that you would make up ground on even Bolt it his turnover was good too. Fahnbulleh has a very bright future. The only think that may
stop him is the dinner table. Lmao. He is built for the 200 meters without a doubt.
I wouldn't give up on Boling yet.I thought Boling might just be the guy. Watching him come 6th in a college meet is a tough realitypill to swallow.
Always "about to", for the last 25 years (ie as long as I can remember). Yeah Kilty and Guliyev did OK, but the 100m in major championships is where it's at. That is the blue riband event that everyone watches. And after all this time there's never been one of our guys even come close.
Ok to say no one did anything again is not true. Fillipo Tortu was in the 100 Meters Finals at the 2019 World Championships. He finished in 7th place running a 10.07 so Tortu was one
of the 8 fastest guys in the world just two years ago. Tortu will continue to improve. Just watch and enjoy the ride. Here is the video. The winner Christian Coleman already on a ped ban for 3 missed
tests. You have to realise that many of this guys are not running clean. I still enjoy the sport regardless even though I wish they could catch more of the cheaters.

He had a lot of hype - which was deserved - but at the same time, it was always a stretch that he (or anyone) was going to come out of high school and immediately dominate at the college level and make the Olympics.
I'm a realist, and I still believe his best is yet to come.
He's 21, not some skinny high-schooler. And he is already well-built and clearly well trained. Unlike say Fahnbulleh, who has a terrible start which can be massively improved, I don't see where huge improvements are going to come from for Boling.
I will admit I'm much more of a novice at analyzing track and field athletes than some of the other members here but I have to disagree. He set a PB in the 200 this year and ran a windy 9.97. He's a sophomore and has 2 years of college track left, possibly more if he runs as a professional. In my humble opinion, there's no way to know yet if or how much he will improve. He's 21, not some skinny high-schooler. And he is already well-built and clearly well trained. Agreed WL. How anyone can say a guy isn't going to get faster who set a PB in the 200 and ran a windy 9.97 as a college sophomore. Almost as ridiculous as the guy who was here saying Boling has african genes because of his curly hair.Ok you clearly are here to argue. Your walking a fine line. Be careful as we do not want people coming here to cut down all of our guys we root for. No room for that here as every other message board is anti white. This is the
one place we can be positive talking about the sports we love. To say Boling will not get faster is the dumbest thing I've heard all year. You are bordering on being a troll and you will be banned if you continue to talk down about
these guys. You have no idea how hard they train and what they go through. Boling will go sub 10 and sub 20 by next year 100%. You can hold me to that statement if your still around.
Henrik Larsson will be running on June 13th. Hope he can throw down a little better time to start slowly getting back on track.
Henrik Larsson is racing tomorrow in Sweden.
Jakob Ingebrigsten won the 5000m in Florence in an incredible time of 12:48.45!!
I don't follow the longer distances too much, but I know anything around low 13 minutes is fantastic.
It turns out that this is a European record!
This kid is an incredible, amazing talent!!!
I'm expecting weird results in Tokyo in all track events, so many athletes won't be as race sharp as they should be. The Diamond League schedule has been shortened this season and was shortened last season too. So that's two years running where runners have had spotty racing schedules and that has to affect racing abilities of various athletes.Always "about to", for the last 25 years (ie as long as I can remember). Yes his better event and his legs looked gone in the final 100 where he normally is the one storming home.
Here's the NCAA 200m final.
It's obvious to me that Boling was spent. He had nothing left for the final straight.
But that's something that can be corrected with training.
