I didn't see the match, but apparently, Greece had a lot of trouble finishing today; from the radio, it sounded like they had a good 5 or 6 chances to score.


Devans, I definitely will check the team sheet first; everything I've seen has England at 8 or more white starters, but this is England we're talking about here.

I suppose if they do indeed have only 7 whites, I'll have to cheer for Italy, even if they do have Ballotelli. ESPN just had a 20-30 minute feature on Ballotelli and how he's so "misunderstood." The commentators were saying "how far Ballotelli will take Italy" so all of Italy success will be given to him. I suppose I'd rather see him and 10 whites over anything less than 8 whites for England.

yes, they were unlucky, but colombia is a very good team, one of those that make this competition the blackest ever in my opinion

uruguay was at his best in 2010, they should have won the world cup back then

suarez and cavani don't come anywhere near the level forlan was at in the spanish league back then

Only in this wacko PC world does that make any sense at all... Ballotelli sucks, and is extremely overrated. ESPN has been running specials on him all afternoon. I'm hoping for a goalless after until Ballotelli and the black English players get subbed off in the later stages of the game, during which the white players will make an impact. I really can't whole-heartedly cheer for Italy with him either... I suppose I hope the white players get all the goals. Like I've been saying, if Italy advances, Ballotelli WILL get all the credit, no matter what. I guess in the long run, it's a bit of a wash on these two. If England would whiten up a little, they'd be a great team. All their subs will be white tonight though.

Uruguay did look very slow out there today; Costa Rica looked the better team for the 2nd half.

From what I saw of him, he didn't stand out to me at all. I didn't watch Man U. very much this year, however.

Of course, even being injured in practice he's magically a "key" part of Hodgson's "plan" to take down Italy. :dodgy:

Why, oh why, did this disgusting African have to become part of Italy? There'll be a special place in hell for his Jewish parents who adopted and brought him to that country.
