Good article on vikings left tackle Matt Kalil, and how he does not want to become a "sumo". Vikings' Kalil faces weighty issuesThere are times when Matt Kalil is so full he can't take another bite. Yet he chews on because the consequences of not doing so are too dire to consider as a 21st...

    Mammary Mania

In week 7 in college football, all the Texas Tech players were wearing pink towels. Some of the West Virginia players had pink tape on their arms. I have not noticed any pink paraphernalia in week 8. The NCAA must have cracked down.

    RG III

This is the second article I have seen claiming RG III should be considered league MVP. He has had a decent year, but I just don't see him as a league MVP. Robert Griffin III already an MVP candidate As absurd as that question would have appeared prior to the season, given Robert Griffin...

    Jared Abbrederis

Good article on Jared. Ten years later, Wisconsin receiver on fire again Jared Abbrederis might have found his destiny around age 10, but it took the Wisconsin standout receiver a while to truly discover it. In those Pop Warner years, the quick, soft-handed Abbrederis could "catch...

NationalFootballPost Article on white skill players

This subject seems to be getting some traction. An article on NFL.com last week, and now this. Maybe somebody will get corrected by a colleague for "caste" speak on Monday night football. After eight years of Don Wassel and caste football blowing the horn :horn:the cracks are showing. I am...

LG Charlie Johnson of the Minnesota Vikings should be the next summo getting shown the door. After being abysmal last year at left tackle, the Vikings moved him to start at left guard this year, where he has become known as the "revolving door" amongst locals. The 32nd ranked redskins defense...

    2012 College football week 7

At the beginning of college football games they announce key players for each team and make some sort of comment about them. For Boston College they listed one of the key players as Alex Amidon, and described him as "a precise route runner".

    Playoffs

I was pulling for the Nationals. The media has been hammering the Nats for over paying Jason Werth since he was signed. The Nats pitchers were walking batters left and right, at least once when the bases were loaded. Nothing annoys me more than that. :nono:

Never! They will give Geno Smith a bogey for this game. They will blame strong winds for his sub-par passing performance. They will fail to mention the opposing quarterback Seth Doege has 431 passing yards and 5TD (and that's only in the 3rd quarter.)

WOW!! Look at this article on NFL.com. I think some media types are doing key word searches on google and hitting the castefootball website!! Brian Hartline more than a 'deceptively fast' Dolphin Unless you happen to be Brian Hartline's mother, there's no way you thought the Miami Dolphins...

He is not playing anywhere near the level he was last year. The Pack was almost unbeatable last year. Shows what an elite quarterback can do for a team. At this point I hope Andrew Luck leads Indy to a victory today.

No designed running plays so far for RGIII. He has had the chance to take of and run during some passing plays, but is staying in the pocket. The big "wallops" he took in the first four games has the redskins re-thinking their game plan.

It might not be his knee slowing him down, it probably is the knee brace. The one he is wearing seems to be rather large. Back in my playing days I wore a knee brace for a couple of games, but ditched it because it made me a half step slower.
