Unbelievably Coach Kelly puts Ghoulson back in at QB in the second half.....Tyler Eifert bales him out with a beautiful route and grab for a TD.......

Looks like the Geno Smiff Heisman Hype express is getting derailed by Texas Tech and its white players.....35-7 at the half
Never! They will give Geno Smith a bogey for this game. They will blame strong winds for his sub-par passing performance. They will fail to mention the opposing quarterback Seth Doege has 431 passing yards and 5TD (and that's only in the 3rd quarter.)

I was originally pulling for ND in this game......since they were undefeated and had a chance to play for a NC....and hoping that Kelly would come to his senses and play Rees at some point in time.....but with Kelly not replacing Ghoulson in the second half I've changed my mind. If Coach Kelly wants to fukkk his team out of a chance to play for a NC so as not to "upset the lockerroom" then screw him.....

At the beginning of college football games they announce key players for each team and make some sort of comment about them. For Boston College they listed one of the key players as Alex Amidon, and described him as "a precise route runner".

Funny stuff.....ABC didn't want everybody watching their Heisman shoe-in losing 45-7 so they switched over to the BYU/Oregon State game.....love it. Jace Amaro the leading receiver for Texas Tech with 5 catches; 156 yeads; 31.2 avg; 1 TD......

what a catch by Amidon! he got lit up by the Florida State safety, but he hung on for a 22-yard gain.

also, the freshman running back Dudek looks fast as hell for the over-matched BC bunch. i'd like to see him be more involved.

and now Amidon draws a pass interference. FSU's affletic secondary is having a hard time handling him. fortunately for Seminole fans, their defensive line is simply whipping BC up front. i think that's the big difference in this game, at least in the short time i've been watching it.

Rees saves the day again. Yet the keep putting the black quarterback back in!

The caste system is so predictable - even with a white-friendly coach!

does anyone have a link to the Air Force-Wyoming game? if so, please pm me. thanks!

in SEC news, Arkansas' Ross Rasner started the game off with a bang. he sacked Kentucky's black quarterback to force a three-and-out.

on Arkansas' first offensive play, Tyler Wilson with a loooooooong touchdown pass-and-run.

Yep.....Rees-two drives and 10 points......the black quarterback-the rest of the game and 10 points. Surely, the DWNDFs have got to be getting restless with this situation. Simply put, Coach Kelly didn't deserve to win a game by not starting/playing his best QB.

Liverlips, please read my post (#25) on this thread. it's simply stunning how blatant the afrocentric bias is from the media and coaches.

all it took for Texas Tech to stop Geno Smith was to get some pressure, and they only really got pressure early in the game, later on they were dropping 8 into coverage and Smith was still getting passes off as quick as he could, making many mistakes. If he can't withstand that then I don't know what they expect of him in the NFL.

Zach Zenner just burst for a 46-yard touchdown run on the first play of the second quarter. he is already nearing 100 yards for the game, and it's just one play into the second quarter.

the sophomore has already surpassed the 1,000 yard mark for the season. wow.

the announcers just said that he has a run of 60 or more yards in 4 of the 5 games thus far this season, and he already has a 46-yard run in this, the sixth, game. they laughed and said, "So we still haven't seen his big play yet."

the announcers have repeatedly lauded his speed and explosiveness, and i have not heard a single instance of castespeak thus far. very cool ... but ESPN may fire them for their "subversive" (by that, i mean honest) commentary.

Jimmy, do you see any chance of Zenner being drafted? NFL draft scout and all the other "expert" websites don't see him as a "real" NFL prospect. Slower and less athletic black players like Green-Ellis are given opportunities but not our guys.

Is this "Ugly Uniform Week"?

Arkansas's gray outfits are dull and bland, Wyoming looks dumb, and South Carolina is among the worst I've ever seen. They look like they're wearing Underoos.

whiteathlete33,

Zenner is just a sophomore, so it'll be a while before getting drafted is even a possibility. additionally, being a White tailback at a FCS school are two HUGE strikes against him (with being White the bigger obstacle to overcome). i don't know what his 40 time is, but on the football field he certainly has explosive speed. and he's made plays against D-I schools, as well. he had a 99-yard touchdown run at Kansas.

the bottom line as things stand with the caste-friendly NFL? Zenner's going to have to continue to put up HUGE numbers to even get a look as a rookie free agent in someone's training camp, in my opinion.

after all, the all-time leading rusher in NCAA history Danny Woodhead didn't get drafted, and he ran a 4.3 along with insane agility numbers in addition to having incredible on-field productivity. there are numerous other small school White backs who've been ignored, as well, including recently the transfer from UConn who set school records in his only year at a D-II school who had ideal size and sub-4.5 speed ... i forget his name at the moment, though.

Robbie Frey?

Yes, he has his work cut of for him. If Gerhart and Leonard are being screwed over then just imagine what this kid is up against. Hopefully some team gives him a tryout in 2015 when he comes out.

thanks RW.

and wa33, it was indeed Robbie Frey. thanks for refreshing my memory. as for the plight of the White tailback, i encourage you to read my article on Mark Weisman. Don posted it on the front page, but it's also on a thread somewhere in the college football stars section.

if the "expert" coaches on a team in dire need of a running back can't see talent that is so glaringly obvious AND right under their noses, then our task is far more difficult than a rational person could believe ... because we aren't dealing with rational people.

it's still in the first quarter, but Indiana is giving Ohio State all it can handle.

Wofford got shut down by a very good Georgia Southern defense.
Breitenstein ended up with 102 yards on 13 carries.

Apparently not, just check their forums:
"I love what we have right now. I think Golson will be fine, and in those occasions when he can't handle the situation, we have the perfect backup QB."

"Stick with EG. Everybody is overlooking the fact that Stanford game planned for EG and didn't change it up when Tommy came in. I think if they had game planned for Tommy they would not have been as aggressive. Now with that being said EG needs to work on his pre snap reads and blitz recognition. But that's what film and coaches are for."

"Don't fix what isn't broken. Keep Rollin boys. Wow!!"

"No way Tommy starts. We wont see a defense that strong until the bowl game. Let a team game plan for him and see what happens. Golson did not play that bad. He moved the ball. Penalties and fumbles killed us.

"How will Golson get the experience he needs? Do you want to have a QB controversy every year? Eventually someone has to get expierience and weve come way to far with Golson to start over"

"Sometimes I feel like posters on this board don't "get out enough" meaning you don't watch anybody but ND play. If you look around and compare you would see this team is pretty damn good.. I still believe in EG. This is a great game for him to go back in the film room and learn."

Earlier:
"Back to the bench Tommy....

LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!"

All the blame is going to Troy Niklas and the OLine, none to the Quataback who is the future.

@Anak: Simply unbelievable......and sad....but a perfect example of the Caste System, from Coach Kelly to the DWFs.....they didn't deserve to win that game and its gonna come back to haunt them if ND doesn't start Rees after that horrible performance by Ghoulson.

Air Force entered today's game against Wyoming with the nation's leading rusher in Cody Getz. yet, for some reason, the Academy coaching staff has done what no defense in the country had managed to do ... shut down Getz. what bizarro world are we living in where a team doesn't give the ball to its best player?

i mean, can anyone imagine any legitimate scenario not involving injury that would cause a team to only give their dynamic playmaker at running back only 5 carries in the first half? only five!

seriously, WTF?!?!

Zenner does it again! a 60-yard touchdown run!

in 5 of South Dakota State's 6 games this season, Zenner has had at least 1 run for 60 or more yards. wow! it's just business as usual for the nation's leading rusher at the FCS level.

oh, and once again he's almost at 200 yards rushing.
