Riley Moss

The poster that thinks Moss wears sleeves because he doesn't want anyone to know he's White neglected to mention that the majority of the Denver defensive players were wearing sleeves on Sunday, not just Moss. For example go to 1:34 of this Week 3 highlights video where of the ten visible defensive players lined up, seven are wearing sleeves, six in white and one in orange:

Riley Moss was PFF’s highest graded CB in Week 3:

6 Tackles
1 PBU
1 FF

Denver has found their CB2

This is not possible according to the coach's, scouts, owners and lame stream media. I love it when they get caught in their LIES!

According to the NFL Moss is the only true white corner in how many years who can play the position? I am going back to Sehorn days, what a bunch of bs.

Yep, 30 years and no White men were good enough. Then Moss comes and in his first year starting is already great. Obvious BS is right.

I saw something about Cooper De Jean getting the start this weekend. One of the real athletes must be injured. Two starting white cornerbacks on the same day possibly?

Starting at nickelback as Don pointed out. They will have 2 starting DBs, which is extremely rare.

This graphic shows that Moss allows
The 3rd lowest distance of separation while being one of the most targeted CBs in the league. The target portion graph is crowded in Moss’s area but he appears to be near top 10 on targets at least.

that's pretty incredible! shame that Cooper DeJean is not seeing as much action yet.

One of, if not the most "overtargeted" CBs in the league. Wonder why?

Moss really ended up in a great position. He’s a phenomenal man corner, played tons of man in college.

Look at all of those targets… Even though we were disappointed he didn’t start year one, imagine if he did, got all of these targets, and didn’t have that year of development and polishing his zone skills. I remember last year just dreading the chance he had one bad game before establishing himself and his career being ruined!

I think things ended up great, he’s ELITE!

another good article about Riley Moss.

Broncos 'Hopefully' Getting CB Riley Moss Back in Week 17, per Payton

The Denver Broncos defense has been night and day without cornerback Riley Moss.

Isn’t it something that the only two white players allowed to play cornerback in decades (not counting a few one offs like Edelman) both end up being elite in their first years in the league?

And both from the only fbs program willing to play white cb’s. Crazy how only Iowa is able to find this talent!

Hopefully Iowa will continue to "find" and play them (and they have John Nestor now and offered Jaxx DeJean) as eventually this "outlier" program and the implications of it will make more open minded people take notice.

Good news…

Injury Report: CB Riley Moss will be 'ready to go' vs. Bengals

There's been a steady drumbeat by anti-Moss haters to demote him despite his success, or maybe because of it. Which is why it's important for Riley to keep playing well, and he is if this report is any indication:

Broncos training camp report: CB Riley Moss is off to an impressive start

Top Plays

You got Moss’d: Second-year corner Riley Moss had a terrific Saturday. He was sticky in coverage and broke up several passes. Among them: An athletic, contested battle along the end zone sideline to knock away a well-placed red zone throw from quarterback Bo Nix to rookie Pat Bryant. Moss later gave Marvin Mims Jr. no space on a shallow throw in team. Moss dealt with a knee injury that cost him three games late in the 2024 season, but he looks healthy, fast and confident so far in camp.

Yes, very important. I saw some anti-White at ESPN doing starter projections for each team leave Moss off his list. I didn’t put much stock in it because these guys are mostly hacks.

Common theme among silly white fans is Patrick Surtain is the best cornerback in football, bar-none. Riley Moss, conversely, is considered as one the worst in the NFL, who might only be "functional", if he were moved to safety.

But looking at their advanced defensive stats, the gap doesn't seem that wide. This season, Moss is giving up an impressive 48% completion percentage. Surtain is at 62.5. Granted, Surtain has to face teams #1 WR, while Riley gets their #2. Also, Moss is yielding a very strong 6.8 yards per target; Surtain an almost equally impressive 7.1 per. They have the same 83.9 rating this season.

Not saying Moss is better, but stats don't lie. Moss has been solid. Hopefully he continues at this pace. Facing Cincy tonight, a team he had his worst game of 2024 season against. He was coming off a knee injury that kept him sidelined a month and Joe Burrow made pin-point throws that only a small percentage of NFL quarterbacks can make. Burrows is out tonight.

Moss has always had the full support of Sean Payton and the coaching staff, which is important as the DWFs and local hack media "reporters" ritually go after just about all White defensive starters except for the few drafted in the first round.

Moss is indeed really good, while Cooper DeJean is already a star verging on superstardom. Yet just as with the other White "outliers" on defense, and there's been a number of them in recent years going back to J. J. Watt and Luke Kuechly, the attitude of DWFs doesn't change. The disproportionate number of Whites at the top of the lists of most effective and productive defensive linemen, linebackers and d-backs? That does not compute to use the old line from "Lost in Space." It's like trying to talk common sense to a White liberal, it's almost always an impossible task.

It's futile. Those people deserve harsh psychological pain, they must be broken and possibly rebuilt. But the conservative goobers and their narcissistic Principles & Virtues gag always fail, which is in fact by design.
