And Zenner is not the fastest or biggest RB as the article was helpful enough to mention.

The media is constantly saying what whites aren't, e.g. not the fastest, not the quickest, etc.

It's a way of diminishing white men.

Weenieworld is probably right about this, but for the wrong reasons. Zenner missing much of last season is a ready-made excuse for him to be cut this year. "It was a tough decision but we felt Zach wasn't durable or experienced enough to beat out (the black scatbacks, scrubs and sub-mediocre journeymen we're keeping ahead of him)."

Lions re-signed RB George Winn. He was an exclusive rights free agent. Winn logged just four touches last season but contributed five tackles on special teams. He should occupy a similar role in 2016. Ameer Abdullah and Theo Riddick will be the Lions' main backs with Winn, Stevan Ridley, and Zach Zenner fighting for one or two spots.

If given a fair chance Zenner could be the starter this year. That's a big if.

This is really disturbing. Yet another White RB about to get screwed, no reasons given other than he's "trending down" all of a sudden. The media as usual is paving the way for Zenner to be cut; if it happens nothing will be said in objection to it and the Caste System will continue on as always.

ESPN Lions report Michael Rothstein said second-year RB Zach Zenner's stock is "trending down" in Detroit. Zenner was a healthy scratch Week 1 and appears to have fallen behind impressive rookie Dwayne Washington for No. 3 duties behind Ameer Abdullah and Theo Riddick. Washington cashed in with a goal-line touchdown in the opener and ripped up the preseason. Zenner may be one of the last players on the 53-man roster and could be a cut candidate should the Lions need a body.

It's the same typical bs. I wouldn't shed a tear if one of the black rbs got injured giving Zenner a chance.

Total garbage. Guys, it's an all-out assault on Whites. Tyranny in the works. Football, being Amerika's religion is just one of the avenues the tank of the Leftist snakes is driving down. The narrative is always a lie and it's right in line with their Marxist hate machine. To hell with every last one of them who are doing this. Zenner is a great player and would probably be starting if he was Black.

If he does get cut he will probably just give up football and go on to become a doctor. I'm glad he has the intelligence to work in the medical field but football has been his dream his whole life. They forgot to tell him that his skin color isn't the right shade to play certain caste positions in the nfl.

Figured Zenner would be toast after all 3 black rbs for the Lions scored against a sorry Colts defense.

I would think Caldwell being the coach could be the real issue. I hope he gets some more carries or if he gets cut that some team gets him that will give this guy the opportunities he deserves.

Caldwell is a door knob he should get canned after this year when Lions miss the playoffs yet again. Then again Lewis has been allowed 10 years to fail.

It seems as though Lions feature back, Ameer Abdullah, has a foot sprain and will miss a few weeks. He's seeking a "second opinion," so it must be somewhat serious...

http://www.mlive.com/lions/index.ssf/2016/09/ameer_abdullah_to_get_second_o.html

Theo Riddick (who does have talent as a receiver) and Mr. Nobody, Dwayne Washington, are the only players standing in Zach Zenner's way. One more injury, poor performance, or fumble and Zenner could get some reps. At the very least, he should be activated and dress for the game.

Caldwell's not the issue; 32 teams had a chance to draft Zenner and 32 teams declined. Caldwell deserves a bit of credit for giving Zenner a lot of playing time in the preseason last year and talking him up. Who knows what's happened lately -- likely some locker room grumbling as blacks resent any White running back (J. B. Cash wrote some good stuff about this) and Zenner is being sacrificed for the sake of "team unity."

And if he does play, there'll be defensive players out to send him to IR again. Same for McCaffrey next year. When there's only one, or a very few, White players at a position, they're always a target. And with defenses now 90% black, well. . . There will be no relative "safety" for White players in the NFL at verboten positions until there are a lot more of them so that they don't stand out like Negro albinos at a BLM meeting.

Good points. I always had thought it was the higher ups out to get the few Whites out of the "elite" positions that were "deserved" only by Blacks. I can see how Blacks on Defense would want to take out a White RB and their own locker room would have an animosity for a White taking a bruthas' "shoe-in" position. That makes a lot of sense given their disdain for Whitey. This league is getting more and more disgusting the more I see what it is really like.

The Caste System is first and foremost a top-down implemented phenomenon. It plays on blacks' feelings of unity and oppression. So even though the (((owners))) and other higher-ups come from a much different background than the players and act from different impulses, you end up with a commonality of purpose between executives and players, much like how the Permanent Cultural Communist Revolution in the United States was initiated as a top-down affair that effectively used street rabble to squeeze White America in the middle.

We have catalogued the various reasons for the demise of the white star position players in sports over the years. There is the constant media pounding of the drums about white inferiority, early age segregation of positions--white youngsters are instructed to stay still and don't run--the sociological factors that lead white athletes to play sports other than football , basketball and baseball( like lacrosse and wrestling or even inventing new sports that revolve around skating etc., the sheer lack of confidence of white people in general when it comes to sports--like waves pounding the shore whites have been beaten down over the years and several other reasons to boot including what Don mentions in his post.
This is a very important point and has been a major problem for white athletes. OK the complete lack of CB's is a result of in part white players being stereotyped. The same goes for WR's and RB's. But running backs control the ball more than wide outs and the McCaffrey situation bears watching. In this day and age will black team mates accept and play hard for a STAR RB? The same holds true for basketball too. It seems to me that for some maybe many black athletes one of their biggest motivations to play and excel in sports is to humiliate white people. If that premise holds some truth do you really think they are going to play hard and block etc. if a white guy grabs most of the glory? I have seen too many headshots when it comes to white WR's and McCaffrey almost had his knees taken out last week vs. USC on a punt return. I agree we need more than one McCaffrey. Moving forward we need more wide receivers, safeties and well at least a cornerback or two. Black athletes rule major team sports and the locker rooms for the most part so they get to dictate many things. Only hockey is removed from this black dominance. Baseball I don't even want to discuss here because they have separate problems including the Hispanic invasion. Only an individual sport like tennis would not involve this 'resentment towards a white player' kind of thing.
Will our culture change enough and start accepting white athletes at the star/speed/glory positions like they did in the 50's and 60's? Maybe I can't say it is impossible but Don's point does shine a light on the multiple problems facing white athletes today.

It's just gets more and more sickening:

Free agent Joique Bell worked out for the Lions on Tuesday. Ameer Abdullah (foot) appears poised to miss Week 3, leaving the Lions a man short at running back. Bell hasn't been an effective player in four years, but knows the Lions' offense. Were Bell to re-sign, he'd back up Theo Riddick and Dwayne Washington.

Look for Lions to either cut Z2K to make room for this over the hill putz or start the process of bulking him up and start transitioning him into human battering ram.

Amazing how Zenner is just written off
as a non-factor. Utterly pathetic actually.

From mlivd (maybe a michigan newspaper's online site)
"
What was shocking was to see Zenner down. He looked promising as a rookie power back last year, though his season was cut short after 17 carries because of fractured ribs and a partially dislocated lung.
Now, he's been leaped by another promising rookie running back."

Abdullah has been put in IR. Maybe Zenner will get a chance but I won't hold my breath.
