No thread on Zenner? He went undrafted (surprise, surprise), but through 3 (exhibition) games is leading the NFL in rushing yards.

In the Regular Season Dress Rehearsal, Zach Zenner rushed for 85 yards on 8 attempts for an average of 10.6 ypc and 1 TD, while playing with the first team offense AND against Jacksonville's first team defense. No other Lions back rushed for more than 13 yards.

In Preseason Week 2, Zenner totaled 81 yards and one touchdown vs. Washington. He also had a 45 yard rush taken away due to a holding penalty.

He wasn't given much an opportunity in Week 1, since Caldwell seemed dead set on Abdullah, who hasn't produced since.

More than likely, the Lions will try to have a committee, using Abdullah, Bell, and Zenner. Winn will probably get tossed. But Zenner has proven to be the best choice.

Will he get a chance in the regular season? Now that is the question.

Lions head coach, Jim Caldwell, provided a few racist, backhanded “compliments†regarding Zenner’s sensational pre-season play…

“He's got a little knack,†Caldwell told 97.1 FM after the win. “He can find holes, and he can get his shoulders square. He's a little bit faster than you think, he's a little stronger than you think and he catches the ball well.â€

All indications are that Zach “Z2K†Zenner, who is currently leading the NFL pre-season in rushing, will indeed make the Lions squad. In watching Zenner during the pre-season, it’s clear that he not only has NFL caliber talent, but could (in a fair world) be a feature back in the near future…

CAPTION: Zenner's 41-Yard Run

Let's hope that this German kid from Minnesota find his own "Hillis Curse" in the near future...

Zenner might be in a good spot already. Joique Bell is still recovering from two off-season surgeries including a knee operation and is 29 years old, getting up there for a running back. He averaged just 3.9 yards per rush the past two seasons and is an undrafted free agent who kicked around the league before getting a chance in Detroit. His future as the team's power back is murky at best.

Ameer Abdullah is a media and fan darling, but my bet is that he will not be durable enough or big enough to be an every down back in the NFL.

So Zenner has a real chance to contribute as a rookie and maybe even become the main runner if Bell doesn't bounce back and Abdullah struggles.

That's the optimistic scenario, because after all this is the NFL, the most anti-White institution in the U.S., which regards Whites as too inferior to play certain positions.

That has to be done by a bot after it was fed a few ZZ/Lions updates if not then that site is really giving special needs people a shot.

I second what Broken Hope said. That is likely an output of an article bot that takes original material and tries to create rendered versions.

I don't know if this is an example of being ultra-dumbed down or it's some kind of strange parody of someone who can't write basic English, but read this article on Zenner. I looked at the site's homepage and every article is just as garbled:

http://www.suffieldtimes.com/sports...-zach-zenner-has-earned-spot-on-roster/69289/
It reads like a translation of German to English. German with masculine, feminine and neutral for nouns sounds like this when you read a poorly translated script. But this comes from an American based news site. Either somebody let a bot write this for him or somebody had a few too many acid hits when they wrote this story......:scared:

I never understood how someone like Zenner can have amazing measurables, tear up the preseason, and still be a "bubble player". WTF?? I read an article that said he'll have to prove himself "in an NFL game" - last time I checked the preseason WAS the NFL . These anti-white just cannot accept a white running back....

Zenner just needs an opportunity in a real game to show he can be more than a special teamer.

Joique Bell will not play for the Lions on Monday night. Zach Zenner should get some opportunities to run the ball and maybe even displace Bell permanently if he does well. The downside is that the game is in Seattle against a tough Seahawks defense and a team desperate for a win.

Bell has been terrible so far this year, and the heralded scatback rookie Abdullah hasn't exactly shined running the ball, so if Zenner plays and does well it will go a long way toward establishing him as a legitimate NFL running back.

A little good news - White Lightning looks like the posts you made regarding Zenner may come true

His teammates call him Doc and this is just what the doctor ordered. Like Jim Carey said in a movie, "So your saying there is a chance".

The kid has more than a chance if they play him. He proved it by leading the NFL in rushing in the Preseason Games. He has power, speed and vision to go along with intelligence. Zach Zenner is for real.

I would be more than happy if he could get 5 plus touches on Monday Night Football. What a way to show the country what you can do. National TV in front of a great audience.

Let's Go Zach Zenner the Winner!

His NFL draft bio is very biased. http://www.nfl.com/draft/2015/profiles/zach-zenner?id=2552384

Take a look for yourself. "One cut runner, very little wiggle", the same anti-white bull.

Lurkers take note. The fact that a running back as good and talented as Zach Zenner went undrafted is proof that there is a bias against white players in the NFL.

Not only did he go undrafted but Dakota was the only Division 1 school to offer him a scholarship. How can that be when black guys are getting scholarships like welfare handouts? He may be the best back in Detroit but he will have to wait for the "real" athletes to get injured.

Ameer Abdullah will make a nice play now and then because of his quickness, but he's too small to be an effective every down back, plus he fumbles a lot as well. Overall he's been a dud despite the hype he's received. But according to the paid hacks at Anti-White World, Zach Zenner barely exists:

Coach Jim Caldwell intimated RB Ameer Abdullah was benched for fumbling Week 5 against the Cardinals. "Anytime you put the ball on the ground, obviously, your chances of being able to play for us consistently are going to be minimized," Caldwell said. Abdullah lost one fumble and had a second saved when a teammated touched the ball while out of bounds. He did not play again after the second fumble. Abdullah had serious fumbling issues in college, but the problems got better throughout his career. He will need to improve his ball security again if he wants to maintain a role in the Lions' offense. Luckily for the rookie, Detroit does not have many other options in the backfield.

Zenner was injured and put on IR while the site was down. Has anyone seen the hit? "Deliberate" intent to injure is the first thing I thought of, but maybe it wasn't.

Here's an article about it, if anyone can find video of the play please post it.

http://www.mlive.com/lions/index.ssf/2015/10/lions_rb_zach_zenner_it_felt_l.html

I was watching the game. It was a hard hit but I don't think dirty. On the plus side it was not a concussion which is what I thought when I first saw it. On the minus side it was several broken ribs and a collapsed lung. Even though he will heal before the season ends the team put him on IR for the rest of the season.

I hate to be my negative self but this might be the end for him. Honestly when do RB's get cracked ribs? It's an ominous sign that he might not be up to the task. White RB's have to be tough as nails, as the knock against them is they are not up to the pounding. He'll probably get a shot next year in camp, they owe him that much, but after another draft and another pick of some black college runner he is going even farther down the depth chart.

What a crappy break for us. He was running better then anyone on the team and with Abdullah's fumbleitis it seemed for sure he was going to get more carries. Personally I think he runs too tough, fights through a lot of contact, he isn't big enough for that it seems, but of course he has to do that to even get a shot.

I think ZZ is up to the task - he supposedly had cracked ribs and a partially collapsed lung - it was more or less an injury of chance IMO. Could of happened to any RB, but as luck would have it one of our guys gets the bad luck. Varga was also put on IR with the concussion label. That leaves Wegher as the last of the rookie RBs to make rosters still healthy - he has yet to be active for a game. After some promise at the position it looks like their is going to be no real gains this season.

I hope he comes back next year but knowing his interest in a post NFL career in medicine I would not be surprised if he decided to walk away.

Zenner should get another shot, he deserves at least that. But having Bell around might have been better for Zenner. It's easier to beat out a marginal guy that has shown he's not that good then whatever black super duper guy they draft, who will be assumed to be the next Barry Sanders.

Even worse the local paper has the Lions thinking about signing superstar RB Chris Ivory. And Zenner is not the fastest or biggest RB as the article was helpful enough to mention.
