Yes, Deniro in Taxi Driver, great angry white guy movie. If you haven't seen it, check it out.

Raging Bull, Cape Fear and Deer Hunter are great Deniro movies too.

Kubrick has made some great ones, Clockwork Orange, Full Metal Jacket and Eyes Wide Shut. I think he got wasted for making Eyes Wide cause he revealed the goings on of the super elite. Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman were an example of perfect casting, both too stupid to even realize what they were taking part in.

Kubrick's Path's of Glory is a great WWI movie. In fact, it's one of the only WWI movies I can recall; WWII seems to be all the rage these days. Apocalypse Now, Barry Lynden, and 2001 Space Odyssey are all masterpieces of his as well. Oh, let's not forget Jack Nicholson in the Shinning.

"The Birth of a Nation" is a must-see, I agree.

I first saw this movie as a teenager in 1993, I rented it from Blockbuster back then.

If you are looking for a true sense of what our country was like following the Civil War, this fact-based movie will give it to you.

This was the biggest movie of its time, garnering an immense amount of pre-release build up. The biggest stars of the time attended the first showings.

Interestingly enough, then President of the United States Woodrow Wilson proclaimed the movie "a classic" after seeing it at a special White House preview.

I again stress this movie is a must-see, and it shows what occurs when Carpetbaggers place blacks in positions of leadership positions. If any white you know supports Hussein Obama, have him watch this movie. I don't have any acquaintances who support Hussein Obama, but if you do, ensure that they watch this movie.

The South will again save this country in 2008.

I wouldn't say it is my favorite movie, but the final scenes of thisflick are excellent. Jim Belushi plays the title role in a movie called - The Principal. He is sent to an urban school which is totally out of control. Black thugs have been routinely beating and victimizing students and teachers. Nobody in their right mind wants the job, but Belushi is forced by circumstances to accept the position.


As the movie progresses, the situation becomes increasingly worse. A student is killed and the principal becomes the next target. After being run ragged, he is faced with his nemesis, who begins to pound him up.Then we witness a glorious transformation. Suddenly,as if waking from a trance, Belushi grabs the fist of his antagonist who is in the process of throwing another punch, and says to him ... My Turn!! The expression on his face indicates he has finally had enough!He then proceeds to beat the s**t out of the punk, and tosses him down the school stepsinto the street.It would be great if White people had a similar transformation.

I liked this movie too, but I left it off my all-time favorites list because of the "magical negro factor" that was so blatantly seen throughout the movie. You know, the whole "black guy (Louis gosset Jr.) risking his own ass to protect his White friend" thing was just not believable. Its was, no doubt, a cool movie, but it just didn't make my list. Had they replaced Louis Gosset Jr. with...say...Charles Bronson as Beluishi's sidekick, then maybe it would have made the cut.

This is after looking at my collection of VHS and DVD's otherwise I would've never remembered!

Terminator 2 (I grew up with it, saw it before the first one)

Swingers
I guess I also have to say Forrest Gump and Shawshank Redemption, just because it's almost impossible to turn them off when I see them on TV.

More recently I thought No Country for Old Men and Charlie Wilson's War were both very good.

I recommend both versions of All Quiet on the Western Front. Then there is Sargent York.. There are a number of air combat films:Wings, Hell's Angels, and Dawn Patrol. The only naval movie I can think of is African Queen. I long for a movie call I forgot, Zepellin!

As I stated in my earlier post here,these guys were facing insurmountable odds and were severely outnumbered.It seemed like the entire continent of africa wasfighting these soldiers.Whether or not people considered this mission a success, the fact the the body count of the africans compared to the us soldiers was significantly higher is a testament to these whitespecial forces.

there are many great movies listed, so i won't bother repeating any of them. instead, i'll list a few lesser known films that i really enjoyed. each of them has a definite interest for those of us here at CF.

Felon is a brilliantly acted, vividly portrayed look at the brutality of prison. especially for a white man who tries to live an honest life.

Stephen Dorff portrays Wade Porter, a white family man with a promising future who loses everything when he accidentally kills the burglar who broke into his home. Covicted of involuntary manslaughter, he gets thrust into the dark, brutally violent world that is prison life. Val Kilmer plays John Smith, a murderer who becomes Porter's mentor in hell.

Equilibrium is set in a near-future, totalitarian-governed world where freedom has been made a crime and is subdued by emotion-suppressing drugs.

Christian Bale plays John Preston, a member of the government's police force who comes to realize that the government has become what it claims to denounce. he joins the resistance, and all hell breaks loose. as a bonus point, one of his main enemies is a black dude, and Bale cuts his face off with a sword.

Stark Raving Mad is a fun bank robbery movie with a twist. Seann William Scott plays Ben McGewan, a regular but pissed off white guy who has to rob a bank to pay his dead brother's debt to a crime lord (Lou Diamond Phillips).

taking place in the background of a huge rave, McGewan overcomes numerous hiccups in the plan, and sticks it to the guys who try to screw him.

it's a fun movie with a great techno soundtrack, as well.

I just saw that new Western movie "Appalosa"(spelling) over the weekend starring Ed Harris and Vigo Mortenson. Mortenson is the actor who played Aragorn in the Lord of the Rings trilogy and Ed Harris has always been one of my favorite under the radar type actors. He never gets alot of attention but he's one of the best. The movie was enjoyable and quite funny at times. It was not as good a western as Open Range but maybe a little better than 3:10 to Yuma.
