Not sure if this got posted somewhere yet, but here's an article that downplays Hillis' accomplishments from '10, yet overlooks that he wasn't even the starting RB for the first two games. The author is arguing that white people are voting Hillis in so they can glorify a white RB

Unfortunately I can see it being rigged, but not in the worst way. I imagine they would put both Vick and Hillis on the same cover. Thats better than nothing. It is going to be hard to put Hillis as anything but halfback if he is on the cover. People are trying to say he is a one season wonder, but he did the same thing when pressed into action for Denver.

Just want to gloat for a little bit. Here's what I said going into the semi-final round!

That being said I think Hillis will beat Rodgers, Vick will beat Peterson, and Hillis will top Vick in the finals. In the finals there will be too many regular white dudes voting who can only dream of doing what Hillis is, thus why they will vote for him. Plus, Hillis is really good on the game, and there's no "racism" in play calling on it which prevents him from being utilized properly. I'm calling it I think Hillis will win the whole thing and it will be a great step forward in the resurgence of white RBs. And when it happens, make sure you savor every moment of being in Target, Walmart, Game Stop or wherever and seeing the big banners with Hillis on it. And in the future when we don't get what we want, like the Patriots not advancing in the playoffs, think back to days like this!

It's great feeling being optimistic and your optimism comes true! I can't even explain how happy I am right now. Who would have thought this two years ago? This can have some big effects on Hillis' career. He is being immortalized on the cover a video game. He will no longer go down as a "nobody," because it takes something special to get that kind of prestige. While I was late to the Peyton Hillis bandwagon in 08, once I saw what he did after getting a freak opportunity, I was confident that things would work out someway, somehow.

I can't wait to see all the promo posters in the stores, and the commercials and finally to see that game in people's homes for years!
