This is a bit off subject. I had a conversation on the phone yesterday with the Letters Editor of a local weekly paper. She's a good looking young woman. She was going to take out of my letter certain sentences she didn't like. As the conversation went along it became exceedingly apparent that my arguments for keeping those sentences in the letter were not going anywhere. So, when having a conversation with an attractive young woman, under no circumstances allow logic to enter into the conversation. They become very unhappy when confronted with it and dig in their heels even more against you.

I feel sorry for you young guys having to deal with these young women. But keep trying. There are some good ones out there as well as the jerks. The thing is when you find the right one, she's completely behind you and no amount of logic will be able to persuade her against you either (you might be the worst person on the planet, but she'll never admit it no matter all the proof). So, you see, it works two ways.

Lingerie Football league to go "Performance," Removes Sexy Logos and Uniforms

The lingerie football league, which drew attention for skimpy outfits and sexy players, has decided to replace all lingerie with "performance wear," remove sexy female figures on uniforms, and masculinize the players with bigger shoulder pads.

From the league’s announcement:
"This is the next step in the maturation of our now global sport. While the Lingerie Football League name has drawn great media attention allowing us to showcase the sport to millions, we have now reached a crossroad of gaining credibilty as a sport or continuing to be viewed as a gimmick. In the coming years we will further establish this sport in the US, Australia, Europe and Asia as the most known form of American football globally. In order to reach the next milestone, we feel the focus has to be the sport and our amazing athletes", said Mitchell S. Mortaza, Founder & Chairman, Lingerie Football League, LLC.

LFL re-branding announcement also includes:
-Performance wear replaces all lingerie aspects of uniform.

So, the chairman has decided to drop what made the sport appealing (to some) in the first place. Sure, it’s a bit of a fetish to watch women wrestle, play football and so on, but there are a lot of men out there who enjoy that stuff. Far more, I suspect, than women who enjoy watching other women compete in helmets and shoulder pads at a man’s game.

Maybe Mitchell Mortaza, the founder, thinks he can get a sinecure from the NFL and be set for life as the director of a money-losing league that can never be disbanded because it would be "sexist" to do so. That’s pretty much what the NBA has been stuck with since David Stern hung the albatross of the WNBA around its neck. And speaking of gimmicks, how is it more of a gimmick for women to run around looking sexy than it is for them to play at a man’s game? I thought that’s what women did naturally when given the opportunity. Who’s more of a freak: a female beauty pageant contestant or a female boxer?

I wonder why these guys can’t accept the simple fact that there just aren’t enough lesbians out there to sustain this kind of thing.

As I keep saying, I used to hear the young men in the shanty saying these things but didn't know what to make of it. I'm completely out of the loop on these things. Young women put on a completely different front when they're around married men of my age. But there's too much evidence that this comedian is correct. It must be.

I still say the best place to meet a woman is in a church group. If the woman is in such a group, there's a fair chance she's a cut above what that comedian was talking about.

The irony of that would be that even if these objectional elements were removed from his skit, it still wouldn't have been shown on any major MSM outlet, because the real objectional material was his admonishment and chastisement of so many contemporary American (read: Western) women. When working on obtaining permanent residency for the foreign spouse, you are both interviewed by an ICE agent whose job it is to decide if you’re a real couple or not. Applicants (US citizen sponsor and the foreign fiancee) are advised to bring photos of the two of you on dates and other evidence that you’re a bona fide couple. They ask you things like the color of each others toothbrush, and things like that.

The agent who interviewed us — I was in my early/mid 30s then and my fiancee in her early 20s — HATED HATED HATED me. She gave out an enormous Ivy League lesbian feminist vibe, and kept trying to trip me up on facts. My demeanor was one of amused mastery layered with crocodile-grin politeness, and I’d produce every kind of documentation she’d ask for. I was genuinely amused by the process. At one point she asked me with a note of exasperation “are you a lawyer?” She ended the interview by telling my fiancee “make sure you get an education and know your rights as a woman!” or something to that effect. Good times.

By the way, I believe we were the only white couple in the entire waiting room filled with hundreds of other applicants that day.

The opening this month of the first life-sized Barbie Dreamhouse in Europe may be the fantasy of many a little girl, but Berlin feminists are mobilising against what they call a sexist icon.

With her ironed-straight blond tresses, doe-like baby blue eyes, blinding smile and super-human measurements, the mistress of the giant Barbie mansion has become a lightning rod ahead of the inauguration.

Just a few steps from Alexanderplatz, the main shopping district of east Berlin, the 2,500-square-metre slice of Malibu lifestyle is nestled between a railway and old communist housing blocks.

Inside, young Barbie fans can pretend to bake cupcakes in a marvellous kitchen, rummage through her sequin-studded wardrobe in the blonde bombshell's "endless" walk-in closet, and lounge in her - pink, of course - living room while admiring hundreds of dolls on display.

"For 22 euros, you can have two careers - model or pop star! What kind of image is that presenting to young women?" grumbles Michael Koschitzki, the proudly feminist male leader of a grassroots group of opponents of the Barbie Dreamhouse, and a member of the youth wing of the far-left party Die Linke.

A Facebook faction called Occupy Barbie Dreamhouse, created in March with a wink at the New York anti-greed movement Occupy Wall Street, has drawn more than 1000 supporters since its launch in March when the Berlin plans came to light.

It regrets that "the vast majority of little girls play with a doll that, if she were real, would be anorexic and whose life would consist of waiting for Ken in the car", Koschitzki said.

An angry fist piercing adverts for the attraction was printed on 10,000 flyers to publicize the fight against such "sexist propaganda" in a country headed by a childless woman and in which battles of the sexes are being fought on several fronts.

Germany, where combining family and work is notoriously difficult, has a fertility rate among the lowest in western Europe and is debating binding quotas for female executives to diversify its overwhelmingly male-dominated boardrooms.

Having weathered half a century of feminist rage, US Barbie manufacturer Mattel notes that it has modernized the doll's image, moving beyond the beach beauty to create surgeon dolls and even a presidential candidate.
"Barbie has again become a tool for some to advance their own agenda," a spokeswoman for the company's German unit said.

The conflict is due to come to a head on May 16 (local time), the opening day, with a planned demonstration under an Occupy Barbie Dreamhouse banner.

"We will be very happy if we can bring together 100 people," admits Koschitzki, whose protest group includes several leftist organisations and the initiative Pinkstinks, which is fighting against the gender-stereotyping produced by the colour's hegemony in the little-girl universe.

Barbie's Dreamhouse, which was conjured up by Vienna-based Event Marketing Service with a license from Mattel and has a twin sister at a shopping mall in southern Florida, is already drawing curious families.

A 28-year-old Israeli tourist who gave her name as Lucy said all the pink caught her attention, as she pulled out her camera.

Having played with Barbies as a child, she did not see a problem with the Dreamhouse, although she admitted it could "influence a young girl so she thinks that everyone has to be blonde, tall and big-breasted".

"It's up to parents to explain that it's just a doll and not an example," said Emma, a 36-year-old Berlin mother of two girls, aged four and six, who shook with anticipation to get inside the doll paradise.

Barbie, for her part, will have to pack her bags on August 25. The Dreamhouse will then be dissembled, placed in moving crates and sent on a tour of other European cities.

My oldest daughter (truly beautiful and precious beyond words) is around 2.5 years old. Her favorite toys are all “pretend” babies featuring a radiant tuft of light blond hair inserted atop their soft rubber heads, eyes safire-blue and bodies swathed in all-pink garments that she chose to dress them in herself. She pretends to feed them bottles, she walks them around the house in little plastic strollers, she whispers lovingly into their ears, she changes their outfits, and she tucks them in at night in small, wooden cribs that I built for each of them. She also plays heavily with my wife’s old Barbie/Ken dolls...you know, the “sexist” kind that have lured the ignoble ire of female supremacists (and other assorted Marxist *******) since the 1990’s. I spent hundreds of hours building her a large, hand-painted, life-like doll house with many rooms and she plays with it for several hours each day. When given the choice of what to wear, she’ll unfailingly beg to dress herself in the most girly, pinkest clothing in her closet. When pretending to be someone from a fairytale, book, movie, or TV show, she’ll always select to be a princess, queen, or other traditional feminine character. She gets bored and disinterested when watching me play sports, lift weights, hit my punching bag, work on cars/trucks/tractors/lawnmowers in the garage, cutting firewood, welding, wood-working, gardening, landscaping, etc…but loves to watch/help my wife cook, bake, go grocery shopping, try on clothes in department stores, do laundry, load/unload the dishwasher, etc.

I guess what I’m inferring is that most healthy young girls are born with the inherently-female dream of one day being physically beautiful in the eyes of men, of becoming a wife to a loving, kind, handsome, successful man, and of becoming the matriarch of this man’s family. Over time, these girls are gradually poisoned into suppressing, delaying, loathing, and eventually abandoning this natural, organic, time-honored feminine fantasy that once provoked in them a hope for a blissful womanhood. In the end…their souls are left chained to walls of the dollhouse.

What gets me about these ridiculous protests is how serious people take these protesters. Can there be anything more pathetic then a grown adult complaining about dolls? These people claim to be all about nature and being natural, yet their whole lives are spent acting in an unnatural manner (homosexuality and hyper sexuality, not to mention socialism) and a never ending attempt to change human nature into something unnatural. Girls have been playing with dolls since the year dot. How can anything be more "natural".

Not to mention how petty and stupid complaining about kids toys and the color pink is. I try to take some comfort in the knowledge that these losers are not just losers in the real sense, but losers in the genetic sense. Their non-reproductive philosophy will extinct them eventually. Unfortunately they are the people that carry nearly the same genetic material as myself. So I can only feel anger that they are willingly surrendering the future to hordes of brown and yellow peoples who are not so smart that they have reasoned themselves out of existence.

All of these zany, attention-whoring acts are, of course, meant to concentrate the spotlight upon individual protestors rather than their actual “message” (imperceptible as it may be)…what could be more “narcissistic” than that? The idea behind “protesting” Barbie seems to be because it’s “sexist” to suggest that women should want to be attractive in the eyes of men. Like most women throughout history, Barbie’s hobbies include feminine activities (cooking, baking, clothes, shopping, nails, shoes, vacationing, and other materialism), which is frowned upon because it entraps women into a life of the “traditional wife” when they could be “empowered” by having a career that robs them of their youth, their time, their happiness, their ability to be a wife and mother, etc. The fact that Barbie seems to actually enjoy the company of Ken, her husband, seems to really irk them (since women shouldn’t rely upon men for anything) as well.

If “equality” actually existed…then why would one need to fight for it?
