I still think fury should come into fights at 245 to 250 lbs. I hope he impresses in dispatching this stand in opponent by KO'ing him with in 4 rds.

Fury will not be fighting! His corner has taken ill, in hospital for some undetermined illness. I guess Tyson was not meant to fight today. I hope they recover.

Say what!!! Fury isn't ill is he? His uncle is ill. He was just going on in one of those interview videos above how he'd never pull out of a fight even if he was on his death bed, even if he suddenly became blind - ridiculous, but that's what he was going on about - that's what he said when he was cursing out Haye and Chimp Chisora!

Right - the jerk just KO'd himself! His stock plummeted from 100 to zero.

Gutting to hear the fight is off.The uncle that was taken ill is the brother of his trainer Peter Fury so maybe it messed Peter up.

Its ruined my days boxing.Golovkin fights Geale later but i'm not very interested in that as i believe Golovkin has way too much for Geale.Geale could be smashed up.I do hope Perez beats black American hope Bryant Jennings. But again i wont be watching.Perez is apparently getting a pathetic 60,000 dollars for that fight for which his trainer Adam booth probably takes a 15,000 dollar cut.

Tyson's trainer Peter Fury isn't sick, it's Peter's brother Hughie.

He's been in hospital for awhile.

I think they're afraid of Tyson being KOed by Ustinov, and using this as an excuse.

I think Eddie Chambers cancelled his fight tonight too because Peter Fury is his corner man too. What does the guy do that's so indispensable, feed them drugs between rounds or something? Any number of fighters have not cancelled their fights because of personal family tragedies just happening, let alone corner man getting nixed...like for instance Max Schmeling's second fight with Joe Louis, the fixed one, with Louis wearing the loaded gloves, they wouldn't let Schmeling's Jewish corner man, Joe Jacobs, in to the stadium for a totally spurious made up reason. Actually he should have cancelled at that point. Something may be going on here that we don't yet know about.

From Eddie Chambers' Twitter page:

"Sorry folks..will not be fighting tonight..because it's a serious situation in the Fury family & Peter cannot make my corner!!"

I hate to rag on white athletes but Fury is a fraud. He was knocked down by feather fisted Steve Cunningham. Adamek took Cunninghams best shots and didn't but an inch and he's much smaller than Fury. The guy was talking all that nonsense before the Cunningham fight and it was close up until the knockout. Cunningham is a cruiserweight for pete sakes. Fury had 45 poounds and 6 inches on him that fight. I think Ustinov could have beat him.

He took full on punches from Chisora and Mcdermott both of whom weigh a lot heavier and hit harder than Cunningham without too much problem. He got complacent against Cunningham, didn't respect his power and walked onto the shot with his hands by his side.Do that against any athletic ripped big man and you hit the canvas.

Still two interesting fights tonight - amazing GGG and a good one between two undefeated black heavies, Perez and Jennings.

I dont know if Id call him a "fraud" just yet, but Its a valid point about letting Cunningham drop his big butt like that. If your that big, and talk as much guff as Tyson does, then you BETTER NOT let a guy you have 40 pounds on drop you!

To his credit though he got right up, clearly pissed, and KOed the guy.

I agree.

It was just an excuses about the uncle (who has been in hospital for awhile, it's nothing sudden).

He pulled out because he was worried about being KOed by Ustinov. I feel bad for Ustinov, who was in good shape and ready to fight, despite the short notice.

Ustinov said "I saw in Fury's eyes he wasn't confident"

Damn disappointed. Was really looking forward the a GGG and Fury douibleheader tonight. Who knows what behind the scenes typical boxing political crap was going on. And it's always dangerous to prepare for one opponent only to have to fight a different one on such notice. Let's not forget Chisora, er, excuse me, Chiumpsora, started it all.

I'll try to give Fury a pass on this one, but I'm starting to see why Carcharias has been so cool on the guy.

I am through supporting Fury. As werewolf would say, boxing has turned into the WWE. Fury talks the talk but can't walk the walk.

Who knows if he'll even fight again. His support has gone to zero. Look at the comments on the British newspapers. Who'd pay two cents for tickets for any future fights of his, if there ever are any. I was really kind of getting into liking the guy too, even tho he is so vulgar and childish, when I saw his "Support Palestine" post on his Twitter page.

Pikeys are a dim witted but fun loving bunch, but I sure wouldn't want them living next door to me. Even real gypsies look down on them.

I agree that Tyson should have went through with the fight and it is unfair to Ustinov. That being said, let's remember it was Chisora's very late pullout that started things in motion. The BBBofC, which regulates boxing in the UK has tried to fine and possibly suspend Fury because of his actions at press conferences. Fury has responded by saying he no longer wishes to fight in the UK because he feels the BBBofC is treating him unfairly. I agree with Fury. The BBBofC need to take a 'chill pill' and understand it is the boxers who provide the financial sustainability of their organization. Tyson Fury said he may only fight in USA or Ireland in the future.

Also, maybe Fury wasn't happy with the money offered with the replacement bout. Bottom line is that Chisora deviated from the contract first and personally I think Fury is just fed up with the BBBofC and thus decided to take his money elsewhere.

I've lost a little respect for Fury, the celebrity world of boxing has got to his head and hes turned into a money craving jew. Hes no longer the Tyson Fury that would fight for nothing just to settle a score, the interviews are nothing but a show. I always found his personality refreshing, but i could never really warm to it like I always have with the cool, composed, humble yet never disrespected white boxers

Fury is now supposed to fight the African cannibal in November, in case anybody cares any more. And no, Fury doesn't want to talk about Ustinov.

Fury's Twitter page was filled with daily boasting, but it has been empty since Jul 25, the day before he punked out of the Ustinov fight after raving about how he would send him back to Russia on a stretcher.

Sick of all these big mouths.

David Haye recently left Booth to sign with Haymon. He obviously wants to go down the WBC route as Haymon controls both Stivern and Wilder. Not a big fan of Haye but he's an intriguing heavyweight that can punch so good match ups should arise. The heavyweight division is very interesting now and hopefully guys like Helenius and Wach can get back in the mix.

Fury has his rematch with Chisora in November and if he wins then he too is in the mix.Fury recently stated that he will turn a new leaf and stop the trash talk and swearing which is good.He says he is sick of being the bad guy and getting hate.Incidently Hughie Fury who is the opposite in personality to Tyson could get a fight with Ustinov in November.
