WKU QB Caden Veltkamp to FAU - Not sure the logic behind this move. Hopefully Easton Messer follows him.

Hey hey, Michigan signed QB Mikey Keene from Fresno State instead of a feckless negro to bridge them into their new black quarterback era.

Michigan has landed a commitment from former Fresno State quarterback Mikey Keene, 247Sports confirms. Keene, who started his career at UCF, earned All-Mountain West Honorable Mention each of the past two seasons.

Keene comes to Ann Arbor after throwing for more than 8,000 yards and 65 touchdowns in 39 career games. In two years at Fresno State, Keene completed 68.7% of his passes for 5,868 yards and 42 touchdowns. Keene actually started against Michigan for Fresno State this season, completing 22 of 36 passes for 235 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.

He was not included in the Fresno State 2024 Starter's thread ...so assumed by looking he was Hispanic??
Kinda hard to say.....but never included him in the Weekly Star-lines for QBs

Oh wow, I never thought to look twice. Regular white dude dad and latina mami. Her maiden name was Ybarra, so her side has some conquistador blood. Still much better than Bryce Underwood to me! Keene actually lost the starting QB job to John Rhys Plumlee at UCF a couple seasons ago and transferred out for playing time.

I agree. These are all of the guys they signed. Not just our guys but you can see they are trending up! My only complaint is that
they have signed 3 running backs. I want to see Cole Cabana shine. Hope he doesn't get burried again and that he stays healthy!

Cole Cabana goes to Minnesota. But Minnesota also got two other backs in the portal. Not good. That’s a cluster F backfield

Luke Wysong is another fast white guy who was ignored for the most part out of high school. Good luck to him at the U of A!

High School: Lettered in football and track at Cleveland High School for coach Heath Ridenour … his father Adam and two uncles Ben and Daniel played football at New Mexico, and his mother Beth played volleyball at New Mexico … was named the Albuquerque Journal 6A State Player of the Year in football and the state of New Mexico Gatorade Player of the Year … caught 15 passes for 429 yards and six touchdowns, averaging 28.6 yards per catch in an abbreviated 2021 Spring season … he also rushed for two touchdowns and he averaged 23.0 yards on 12 punt returns … state champion in the 100 and 200-meter in 2021 and he was named the Gatorade State Track and Field Athlete of the Year, making him the state Player of the Year in two sports … Second Team 6A All-State in 2019 and First Team All-Metro … recorded 20 catches for 525 yards and two touchdowns, and also recorded two interceptions.

Personal: Parents are Adam Wysong and Beth Wysong … Majoring in Communications … Father Adam and uncle Ben both played at New Mexico.
