I’d have sworn that he was graduating. These new rules that give kids 12 years of college football eligibility is dumb......But good for Connors, he’s a real good back. I read an article saying that he’s likely to go to a team with higher academic standards. We’ll see.

I like the Andersen Castle to Duke move.....

Yep. He should at least get a chance to make an impact in the MAC. We saw Steele go to a bigger conference go undrafted and Schrader lead the SEC in rushing - neither equated to any sort of NFL opportunity so far for them. Cabana will at least get playing time and make the MAC a little bit interesting.

Yessir will be a WMU next year just because of him. I’d like to see 500 rushing, 500 receiving from him next season. Put himself on the radar.
 
agreed on Gronowski, I liked him as a true dual threat QB at South Dakota and I also believe he would flourish in a higher level conference...NFL might be an option but I think he would be better off doing 1 more year in a power conference program.

Former Badger and CSU DE Gabe Kirschke has reentered the portal. He was buried at UW for 2years(would have liked to see him in the rotation!)

Kirschke is fresh off a breakout 2024 season with the Rams. He finished with 42 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 6 1/2 sacks, two pass deflections, one interception and two forced fumbles. His TFL and sack totals each led the team by a wide margin.

West Virginia, Kansas, and Purdue have all offered. 6’5 250 another DE to keep an eye on.

Former four-star DT prospect Owen Wafle is transferring out of Michigan after redshirting as a freshman.
 
Good for Pantelis noticed Cooper Barkate from Harvard to Duke.

Also dunno if it’s been mentioned, but South Dakota State Star WR Griffin Wilde to Northwestern.

Also SDSU former coach and player Jimmy Rodgers, is HC at Washington State and is bringing with him overachievers from Brookings. Including an RB in Lucas Vorhees.
 
Probably the UW transfer I am most excited to see this fall. Former D3 Safety Matt Jung is a name to remember. 6’3 215 SS that totaled 16 INTs last 2 seasons for Division 3 Bethel College, 6 went for pick 6s. Classic case of a guy that wasn’t good enough to get a sniff from D1 coming out of HS, now Wisconsin, Washington State, Buffalo, and Iowa all wanted him. He chose to head back to his Native Dairy State. Hometown is Neenah, WI and glad he is a Badger. He was also 11th in punt return yardage in D3, 11 yard average. So he’s got some mobility at his size!
