Today in Doha, first Diamond League Meeting.
Winner: Justin Gatlin (9.87)
What a shame to see this juicy sprinter running in a Diamong League race.
Tobias Unger might win gold in the 200 then.....:icon_mrgreen::thumbdown: Obviously I am half joking but this could blow up in the IOC/IAAF's face....:thumbdown:This week it became public that they are likely to retest the samples from the 2004 Olympics before they throw them out. They keep them for eight years, so this is the last chance. Apparently, some of the tests have gotten better in the last eight years, so I'd love to see them do it.
justin Gatlin ran a 9.80 +1.8 m/s last week end. Faster than when he was on PED. :yell:
Times seem to magically drop during Olympic years. You know that new designer steroids are out that the pee pee test can't detect. I just can't see Gatlin running times anything close to what he ran 8 years ago(when he was dirty) and still be clean. It will be a sad day for track and field when he is exposed(again).Gatlin is still most likely taking something. Last year he got beat twice by Christophe in the 100m easily.
This year, he jumped up to indoor world champion and now outdoor US champion, running 9.80. So obvious he is back to his old ways and juicing as much as ever.
We have Chambers, Gatlin and Merritt all winning their national championships and all 3 have used drugs. Disgrace.
I didn't know where to put this but Blake just beat Bolt by quite a bit and I wasn't really shocked as Bolt doesn't have the same acceleration as he used to........http://espn.go.com/olympics/summer/...e-beats-usain-bolt-100-meters-jamaican-trials Here is the video Bolt is left with too much of gap to make up even super yams can't make this up.......http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4EmFVDxd8rA
