I don't think we will be hearing Peter yelling "NEX" anymore. The 1st Wlad fight ruined him. It put huge doubt in him and he lost all confidence with the Vitali beatdown.

Peter also did him self no favors by always rolling into fights as a moving meatball, except on a few occasions. The posters over at ESB must be depressed.

I think a bit of body fat like robert has is absolutely unimportant. I mean Fedor had a little belly fat his entire career.
Watched it live and robert impressed the hell out of me. Strikes and athleticism ala Wladimir and chin ala Vitali. Dangerous combination of attributes.

I don't know about that Westside. The moron thought he was undefeated after beating Maskaev when in fact he had one loss on his record. He also thought he was the undisputed heavyweight champ meaning he had all the heavyweight belts when he only had one at the time.

I didn't think Robert would be able to lay Peter out like that. Robert looked calm and composed for the most part. He took a few big shots from Peter and didn't panic. I'm impressed. Sauerland have moved him well.

I think Wlad-PeterI cracked his chin and Vitali-Peter made him lose his desire. I think at this point he is going to be high profile trial horse. He might try for a few rounds and then look for a spot to fall down. Similar to Bert Cooper in the 90's.

Peter is 5" shorter at 6'1" but weighed in over 20 pounds heavier than Helenius.

Helenius is actually way ahead of where the amazing Klitschko brothers were at the same stage of their careers! In only his 11th pro fight he KO'd the former WBO champ Brewster, and this was only his 15th pro fight. BoxRec just moved him way up to #6.

I truly couldn't have imagined Helenius knocking out Peter last night. Vitali failed to do so, though he may have if the "Rotund Nightmare"Â￾ hadn't quit on the stool. Wladimir was knocked down three times (albeit by rabbit punches) in 2005 and was only able to knock Peter out in the 10th round five months ago.

Congratulations to the Nordic Nightmare"¦watching this sort of performance is certainly punishment in the Ninth Circle of Wigger Hell.

Good points Thrashen. The thing with Vitali and Wladimir is that they are very cautious fighters. They don't like to mix it up as much as Helenius. Peter was probably ready to go in the next round of the Vitali fight had he come out.

I would love to see Helenius vs one of the Klitschkos by the end of this year, but boxing is running its own "Welfare system" for negro heavyweights rightnow.We havefighters like Peter and Chambers getting chance after chance, and a bunch of nobodied's like Briggs and Austin also gettingtheir shot, while white fighters squat on their heels. Damn, that was an impressive KO by The Nordic Nightmare!

This dominant victory makes me even prouder of my 1/4 Finnish ancestry. Helenius has the size, skill and power to be a serious threat to Wlad with a little more seasoning since he's still pretty green.

That was an impressive performance by Helenius. He showed great movement, fundamentals, stamina as well as great KO power towards the end of the fight. Robert also exhibited a good chin, as he was whacked a couple of times by Peter.

This was a do or die fight for Peter. Peter came to win in this fight so this was a great win. Robert's future is indeed bright.

He's much more than just a prospect now. Boxrec has him ranked #6 in the world. He's actually way ahead of where the great Klitschko brothers were after only 15 pro fights.

Yes, that is correct, but at that age Wladimir was also already a Gold Medalist in the Olympics, which Helenius is not. And I am confident that 10 years from now, looking back, both Klitschko brothers will be much bigger names than Helenius ever was.

That's not meant to deter Helenius however. I just take issue with the Klitschko comparison. Klitschko's are in a class of their own.

Helenius is great though, and seems to be improving with every fight! Perhaps he can rule the division once Klitschko's are gone.

Yes, that is correct, but at that age Wladimir was also already a Gold Medalist in the Olympics, which Helenius is not. 

Yes, Wlad won Olympic Gold at age 20.

And Wladimir was a world champion at age 24 in 2000 when he defeated Chris Byrd to win the WBO title.

By the time he was the same age as Helenius (27), he'd already had 5 successful WBO title defenses (Jefferson, Botha, Shufford, Mercer, and McCline).

I like Helenius, but I can see he's not on the same level as the Klitschkos, who are very special athletes. Edited by: Parody
