what a bunch of vicious ****s. i'd love to get my hands on whoever is writing this drivel. had he been black they would have called it a break-out game. true, he had those drops but which receiver doesn't?!

Maclin had several drops and mistakes that led to losses for several weeks. 3 games I believe with dropped passes and a fumble, all in crucial situations. Yet he is going to be the starter again and Cooper isn't considered as starting material? Someone said Lance Alworth never dropped passes, he did in one game according to an interview. He dropped 3 passes in one game and after that he worked on it to where he never dropped one again. So even the best have one instance where they have a game with drops. Cooper is still learning, so that means without the drops he would have had over 130 yards. Vince Young probably still finds a way to lose the game. The passes he dropped weren't the easiest catches imo. The one that he had his arms extended for, you don't see most black receivers drop that because they would have never tried to catch it, they would've alligator armed it.

If you take a look at what weenieworld has been saying the past few weeks, its obvious how threatened they feel. They used to be a little more subtle. We have a good deal of White receivers doing well, and not all of them are slot receivers. black quarterbacks have failed, Josh Freeman looked like he was going to be promising but is in a slump. Toby Gerhart getting a chance. Remember last year he had an okay game against the Redskins and the more he played the higher his ypc went, also the Falcons have a tough run defense and the Vikings weren't doing a great job of blocking. There is a reason why Peterson is rushing back and trying to play this week against the Broncos. I think the Broncos are good at defending the pass but not as much against the run.

amen, man. they are downright "hatin'" on most white skill players... Tebow is terrible, Hillis is finished, Gerhart is a nobody and is too slow to be a powerback (yeah, i know it's a quote, but still), Decker is just a fluke, Woodhead has clearly no potential and should be phased out... the only player that they were giving props was Moore a while back, and he is a TE, technically, so no taboo busting here

a positive spin on Riley's performance, from buzzonbroad:

Cooper with Young at QB- With Vince Young at quarterback, Riley Cooper has looked like the player fans have seen in training camp the last two seasons. Cooper once again showed a connection with Young as the two connected deep to set up the Eagles first touchdown. Cooper also did a good job on an earlier route in the drive when he beat the Seahawk covering him badly. Of course, his 3rd quarter drop of a Young pass that led to an interception was unacceptable. But on a night when so many Eagles looked bad, Cooper at least made some plays.

Cooper's actually been one of the few bright spots during a miserable season for the "Dream Team." To step in as a starter after hardly playing all season and make plays all over the field is impressive. Hopefully Fat Bastard and DeSean Jackson will both be gone from Philly next season and the very talented Cooper will be one of the starting outside receivers.

more BILE from rotoworld... no agenda here, huh

i've also browsed Eagles forums' and there's a lot of hatred towards Cooper. wtf??? some people are even defending Jackson who didn't even bother to mail in his performance last night (but fat **** said he played his heart out??). we truly are living in the bizarro world! oh and fans don't care for Chad Hall and... Jason Babin? they want a real (read black) DE. over a guy who has 12 sacks in 11 games...

Coach Andy Reid expects Michael Vick (ribs) and Jeremy Maclin (hamstring, shoulder) to practice Monday and play against the Dolphins in Week 14.

Barring a setback, of course. The Eagles desperately need both players back after replacements Vince Young and Riley Cooper contributed heavily to the disappointing loss at Seattle. There's no concern whatsoever about the Eagles shutting Vick or Maclin down now that the season is lost. Young and Cooper can be dropped in redraft leagues.

While I would love to see Andy Reid fired, how can their ultra-Marxist/caste-clown owner let him go after he handed Michael Vick a huge contract extension?

Hasn't Reid become's Vick's personal "Rabbi" of sorts? He's the man that pressed to have him signed when he got out of prison. He's the guy Vick had the best year of pro career with. Hasn't Jeff Lurie (a left-wing extremist) chased every black quarterback available, from the minute he purchased the Eagles, knowing Ray Rhodes and Reid would love to coach them?

I hope I'm wrong, Don. But I think Vick saves the fatman's bacon.....Only way Lurie let's Reid walk, is if he can replace him with an even bigger caste-clown (AA hire), who would undoubtedly screw Cooper, Hall and the other few whites over even worse than Andy has. I can't imagine a Gruden or Cowher taking that job, knowing they are locked into having Vick at the helm for the next 5 or 6 years.

Simply put, any chance of this team ever being fairly white ended when Vick got his huge contract extension...actually, any chance of this team not being "unfair" to whites probably ended when Hollywood lonsman Lurie purchased the team in the mid 1990's.

If the Eagles end up at 6-10 or worse I think there's a good chance Fat Bastard quits or is fired. He's always had lots of critics among the DWFs, and now it's really at a high level. It really just seems time now, just as the team and city was ready to see McNabb playing elsewhere despite his relative success.

As far as Vick, NFL contracts aren't guaranteed, so his starting job isn't assured. A lot depends on Lurie, but his fellow tribesman owner in Atlanta had his fill of Vick after a while. Vick will be 32 next year, still a prime age for a White QB, but black ones are almost always over the hill by that age, not to mention he's injury prone. Vick's been "redeemed" now, so it wouldn't surprise me to see him go to another Caste happy team within a season or two, same with All He Do Is Lose.

For those who want to complain to Weenieworld about their extreme anti-White bias, they have a contact link: http://www.rotoworld.com/about/help.aspx

I think the fact that so many more comments appear these days pointing out the entrenched, often mindless, stereotypes and snap judgments made about White athletes in articles has had a positive effect in changing perceptions, though there is of course still a long way to go. Weenieworld needs to know that more of us every day are fed up with their agenda.

Cooper magically surpassed the expectations again that Weenieworld had for him this week. I didn't see the drops but he's improving every week and that's what counts. I actually like Young better than Vick because he seems to get Celek a bit more involved in the passing game and Cooper is his favorite target. A few co-workers were saying today that Cooper is Young's favorite target because they worked out a lot on the second team.

If Cooper knew what was good for him he should seek a trade. He clearly has the ability to be a # 1 wr on any NFL team. He has a minor criminal past from high school but I would rather have him than clowns like Maclin as Cooper has been trouble free for the last 6 years. Lets hope he wakes up and goes to a team that could use his skills.

Trades are fairly rare in the NFL, and far rarer because an unproven White receiver demands one so that he can be a starter somewhere.

Cooper will be entering the third year of what is likely a four-year contract in 2012. There's a good chance the Eagles will let DeSean Jackson go his own way, and if that happens Cooper will be in pretty good position to replace him on the outside. And Maclin is injury prone. I don't think there's a better place for Riley to go to right now even if he could magically demand a trade.

Rude and drunk Eagles fans are the reason why the Eagles will never win a Super Bowl. They bash great white wide receivers like Curtis and Cooper, while praising inconsistent afflete ones like Maclin and Jackson. The black quarterbacks they choose to praise have been horrible since the 90's. From Cunningham to Peete to McScrubb to ConVick. I still haven't forgiven the Eagles for failing to replace Cunningham with Jim McMahon, hehe.

Most stupid Eagles fans do not even know who Cooper is, nor do they know about his college-level performance. Since they foolishly presume that Cooper is just some benchwarming backup, they are naturally biased and will always attribute his amazing catches to "luck" and his drops to a "lack of skill." Maybe Cooper can get sent over to the Broncos - we know that he can catch Tebow's passes!

My old highschool pal bounces at two "upscale" nightclubs in Atlanta. He said he recently met Riley (& Chad Hall) at the club where he works. He said both were pretty laid back, and he chatted a while with Cooper. My buddy says many pro athletes come through his club....Dan Uggla, Raphael Assuncao, Charles Barkley and TakeYO Spikes. He's chatted with most of them & they're down to earth (with him).

I would love to see Riley Cooper go to NE Pats.
He is being wasted in Phily, and NE needs a big, speedy WR. As we all know, Ochocinco has been a bust.

That'd be sweet. OchYOstinko's washed up and was overrated to begin with.

Because everyone knows Riley Cooper could never be an NFL starter:

The Sideline View's Adam Caplan believes the Eagles will shop DeSean Jackson around the league after placing the franchise tag on the free agent later this month. NFL Network's Jason LaCanfora has suggested the same scenario several times. Highly respected around the league, Caplan has an especially good read on the Eagles. Should Philly find a trade partner for Jackson, they would likely to turn free agent market or the draft to find a replacement.

I think he would fit in great there.

Riley Cooper, who has a size and skill set comparable to Jordy Nelson and Eric Decker, will now reportedly have to battle just to make the roster after the Eagles drafted the immortal Marvin McNutt, like Cooper 6' 3", in the sixth round. Riley's a great example of how important it is for a White receiver to land with a team that might eventually give him an opportunity. All it took was for Cooper to have a couple of drops while otherwise shining in the limited action he's seen for him to be all but written off by the media and DWFs.

Weenieworld ran something similar based on the article excerpted below (which also all but writes off Chad Hall):

-- Wide receiver: For the first time in several years, there is little drama surrounding this position. DeSean Jackson is re-signed and says he’s focused. Jeremy Maclin will team with him in the starting lineup and Jason Avant will be back in the slot and doing a whole host of other jobs, including punt rushing, serving as a backup holder and even a fourth-string emergency QB.

The fourth and maybe fifth receiver spots (if they keep that many) are where the battle begins. Riley Cooper has been OK as an occasional fill-in in his first two years but the Eagles have rarely used his 6-3 frame to great advantage. In comes Marvin McNutt, also 6-3, and if he proves to be a reliable big target he might make Cooper expendable. Chad Hall has been a nice story, but a marginal contributor. He’ll have a fight on his hands to make the team.

sickening. Chad Hall could do everything Avant could do except he would actually get yards after the catch and he could play runningback if needed. He was recruited to play qb in college but transitioned, he is small but it wouldn't be any more desperate than putting Avant in, Lance Moore is the Saints emergency qb. I mean seriously, Avant is the prototypical slot receiver from the 90's. The league has changed. Someone like Hall could be a dangerous threat in there. In fact, he is so fast and versatile he could take over DeSean Jackon's role. Just use his speed and run post routes, run a few end arounds, but the fans can't acccept a number 1 or 2 White receiver under 6 ft, even though Maclin and Jackson are both barely 6 foot.

Speaking of height, they don't have any, Avant is the tallest at 6 foot. Cooper would be very a valuable on the outside with his height and leaping ability. Maclin and Jackson are like twigs, they make fun of the Patriots for having small guys but Vick, Jackson, Maclin, Avant are all 6 foot or under, only Avant weighs more 200 pounds, Jackson is 178, Hall is shorter but is closer to 190 pounds. Btw Cooper is actuallly just a shade under 6'4 while McNutt is a shade under 6'3. If Cooper were black it would be listed as 6'4. They have similar 40 yard times, although Cooper looks much faster on the field, McNutt's 3 cone drill was 7.15, there are linemen that do better than that, usually in the dline/olb range.

Every time Ive watched Marvin McNutt he hasn't stood out as being elite, and its not because I wasn't paying attention, the announcers made sure to mention his name about 50 times per game. Nothing spectacular, he can make some great catches but his route running is raw and he drops easy passes. If they think Cooper had a problem with drops just wait til they see him, but I guess his will be excused. There is a reason why a 6'3 215 black receiver with good 40 yard dash and college production fell to to the 6th round.

Hopefully his time will come, similar to Jordy Nelson. Maclin and DeSean Jackson seem to be injury prone, being well under 200 at 6 foot will do that, they don't seem to be very musclar or solidly built, Jackson more than Maclin, but both have had injuries. Jackson has gotten to the point where he doesn't want to go across the middle.

as for Chad Hall, maybe wind up like Amendola at least? He spent time with the Eagles.

This is absolutely criminal. The ONLY way Jason Avant can get playing time over Riley Cooper is because of blatant racial discrimination. Cooper is superior in every way. Actually, he's better than Jackson and Maclin, too. If he was black, he'd be the team's #1 WR.

When a white receiver drops a pass, it holds the same significance to coaches, DWFs and "journalists" as 100 drops from any black receiver. With the horrendous "hands" so prevalent throughout the league, the idea that any white WR could be punished for dropping passes is ludicrous. How many times have we read mainstream assessments of black WRs where the affleticism is lauded but it is noted that "he needs to learn to catch?"

Shipley with the Bengals, Cooper with the Eagles, maybe Collie with the Colts- it looks like many of these extremely talented white WRs are going to get screwed over again Caste style.

WEBSTER'S EXPANDED DICTIONARY 1996 edition..... bigotry, big' ot-ri, n. blind zeal in favor of a creed, party, sect, or opinion.

This is the only expanation. They're so blinded with zeal for Blacks, they just can't see a gifted White athlete.
