Sounds like a reckless 1st round pick to me! Good job front office!19th pick of the first round in 2021:
Commanders released DE Jamin Davis
A linebacker for his first three seasons, the Commanders new regime threw him at EDGE and gave him 86 snaps in five games. Davis did not record a sack. He also was cited twice for reckless driving. Still just 25, Davis is a potential reclamation project.
I’d love to hear BB get grilled on his WR drafting abilities, besides from here on CF.https://nfltraderumors.co/patriots-waiving-wr-tyquan-thornton/
Another bust WR drafted by the “genius”
Hahahahahahaha! Wow. Maybe the black “dog pound” can unlock his mouth-watering upside. This guy is a colossal bust. It was a cause for celebration when the Chiefs finally gave this clown the boot. Here's a great, GREAT man making a comeback...
Kansas City Chiefs flop set to make his NFL return
In 2023, he was plagued by dropped passes and committed a crucial offside penalty in a late-season loss to the Bills, which wiped out what would have been his touchdown off a Travis Kelce lateral.www.dailymail.co.uk
Excellent research. Forgot Ebert was selected in 2012. Good player at Northwestern. Here's a list of the WRs drafted by The Genius while with New England. The most successful was Julian Edelman, who had a four year racial apprenticeship at the beginning of his career. Then Deion Branch, and then. . . your guess is as good as mine. Braxton Berrios ranks with the best of the rest and he's been way underused as a receiver. Every single one drafted in the first, second and third rounds has been a bust except for Branch, drafted back in '02:
- 2022: Tyquan Thornton, 2nd round
- 2021: Tre Nixon, 7th round
- 2020: N’Keal Harry, 1st round
- 2018: Braxton Berrios, 6th round
- 2016: Malcolm Mitchell, 4th round
- 2016: Devin Lucien, 7th round
- 2014: Jeremy Gallon, 7th round
- 2013: Aaron Dobson, 2nd round
- 2013: Josh Boyce, 4th round
- 2012: Jeremy Ebert, 7th round
- 2010: Taylor Price, 3rd round
- 2009: Brandon Tate, 3rd round
- 2009: Julian Edelman, 7th round
- 2008: Matthew Slater, 5th round
- 2006: Chad Jackson, 2nd round
- 2004: P.K. Sam, 5th round
- 2003: Bethel Johnson, 2nd round
- 2002: Deion Branch, 2nd round
- 2002: David Givens, 7th round
Tyquan and all of his brimming upside was just signed by the Chiefs to their practice squad. Ugggh.https://nfltraderumors.co/patriots-waiving-wr-tyquan-thornton/
