After 4 games Sam still leads the Houston area in rushing at 191.5 yds per game. He has 78 rushes for 766 yds (9.8 ypc avg) and 9 TDs. His team, the Cy-Fair Bobcats, are dominating everyone with an average winning margin of 39-5 in their first four games. It's fun watching an all white team beatup on the local black teams with their "superior athletes".
Here's an article in the Houston Chronicle about Sam. (Note: The picture in the article is NOT of Sam running the ball.)

McGuffie gives Cy-Fair get-up-and-go
Running back follows good year with a great one in the making

Heading into the 2006 season, the Cy-Fair Bobcats were hoping tailback Sam McGuffie would not suffer a post-sophomore slump.
So far, he hasn't disappointed.
A year after bursting onto the scene with an impressive performance in the Bobcats' run to the Division I Region III final, McGuffie is third in Class 5A area rushing with 592 yards on 62 carries and an average of 9.5 yards each time he takes a handoff. (Cy-Fair had an open date last week, so he dropped out of the top spot.)
His stellar play is one of the primary reasons Cy-Fair heads into District 17-5A play with a 3-0 record and hopes of defending last season's district title, the Bobcats' first since 1999.
"Sam's motor runs pretty high all the time," Cy-Fair coach Ed Pustejovsky said. "His work ethic is such that he wants the ball in his hands and he shows it. He needs to be a focal point of our offense."
McGuffie created a lot of buzz during his impressive sophomore season. He didn't see much playing time until an injury to starting tailback Philip Goldsmith gave him an opportunity.
McGuffie rushed for 544 yards and six touchdowns in the regular season before nearly matching those totals in three postseason games.
McGuffie made his biggest impact of the season on a special-teams play against Cypress Creek.
After his team fell behind 17-14 with under a minute to play and facing a second district loss, McGuffie took a kickoff and bolted 90 yards for the game-winning score.
"I hadn't seen much playing time the whole season, and I thought if I couldn't do much as a running back, I'd do anything else I could," McGuffie said. "If we don't win that game, we probably don't make the playoffs."
Pustejovsky called the return "the turning point of the season."
"Sam gained a lot of confidence on that play, and it was really big for us as a team and a big splash for him," he said. "He was a real good player by the end of the season."
Cy-Fair went 10-3 and made its deepest playoff run since 1987.
McGuffie also had success on the track as a sophomore. He won the regional long jump title with a 23-9 effort on his last attempt to become the youngest participant in that event at the state meet.
With only two starters back on offense and defense, Pustejovsky said he knew McGuffie's improvement would be critical for the Bobcats.
"He has good quickness and explosion, and his vision on the field has improved, which is something you really can't coach," Pustejovsky said. "He just has it."
He also has more pounds on his frame this year. While he gains most of his yards by being elusive, McGuffie is quick to point out that he's not just a speed demon.
"People think I'm small, but I'm really not," McGuffie said with a laugh. "I'm 5-10 and 180 pounds and definitely a little faster and stronger this season."
