RB -- Brian Leonard

This gentlemen, is what we're fighting against. My God, its like swimming up the freaking Mississippi river! I thought seeing was believing, but most of White America is stupid as hell. The feminist and civil rights movements have gutted our country and left the real men behind to rot away forever. I'm only 28 and grew up as mostly an outdoorsman and really didn't get into watching sports avidly until about 15. I played football and we had really good white and black athletes that played runningback in little league but found out later in high school, that the WHITE athlete mysteriously lost their athleticism. Barring QB, FB, and tightend, all our skill positions were black. I really didn't give it much thought because they were actually good. One went to Kentucky and the other to a smaller school. But as I started paying attention to college and pro football, all of the pieces started to fall into place. Where were the whites! They are weeded out because of percention and idiots like this. If this sports writer, who is payed to follow sports, cannot see with his own eyes that Leonard isn't an elite talent, what can we do? Is the backhanded comment of being a good sport and giving his positon away the best we can hope for from the experts? When in the hell is this country going to wake up? When in the hell is equality for whites going to kick in? Im an optimist, but the absence of reality in the good ole US of A is mind numbing. Or as our fair minded black brothers say, "this sh*t be whack!"

wow! what a f**king terrible article... NOT MUCH OF THE RUNNER? what an idiot.

EDIT: from Mel Kiper's big board:

18. Brian Leonard Sr. FB Rutgers
Versatile enough to be an H-Back in the NFL. (going up) - wtf, he's versatile enough to be a RUNNINGBACK in the NFL...

Ya, I was pretty shocked myself to see that he wrote Leonard was not a good runner. I mean, even 'average' would have been a lot closer to reality without it even being complimentary!

While I'm glad to see that he's fairly high on the 'big board', the reality of the situation is that he is being type caste as a TE/FB, or in other words, the H-Back. Disturbing to say the least...

Since when did Kiper go cold turkey on his black porn stash? I think this wife found the stash.....

Lately he has been rating white players that don't play the "traditional" positions. I would love figure out what is going on in his head. Kiper probably thinks that Team USA was poisoned and Hasim Rahman can finally beat Maskeav if only they wouldn't poison Rahman's water.....

I really don't want Leonard at position H-Back..Comon this guys can be easily a 1000yards runners. He can be like Laidainian Tomlinson, he is a all arround back, that make me f**kin sick...

funny thing about Kiper... at the end of the year last season, he had Leonard rated as the #4 tailback, yes tailback, in the nation. what happened? did he suddenly forget how to run?

a quick look at Rutgers last game indicates NO...

I will officially stop following NFL if Leonard, Shark, Weddle and Zbik get srewed over. They are as good of athletes as i've seen and every single one of them is a very special player who can be potential NFL great at their respective position.
If they get a short end of the stick, i will just withdraw from watching football. f**k it. Enough is enough.

I decided not to get the NFL Network because of this website. A small step, but I could see a day when I give up the NFL because of anti-white racism (I did so with the NBA long ago).

Boxing, UFC, Pride, soccer and other non-racist sports are my faves now.

Isn't it funny that when there is no institutional racism there is also no black dominance in sports?

Bunnyman, is that the same PRIDE that signed Mike Tyson to a contract to fight a mixed martial artist under boxing rules? Now that is just a desperate attempt for Mike Tyson to look good. Tyson could never cut it in mixed martial arts; even they don't allow biting.

The discrimination against Leonard is disgusting. I hope they lose all of their games next year and have to start talking about becoming a D3 school again.Edited by: Freedom

Is the Rutgers Game on national tv.I can't see any listing but I'm hoping I'm wrong. It will be an exciting game.I can't wait to see Leonard running the ball again. This will be his 2nd to last game so I will enjoy every minute.

Rutgers and West Virginia are on ESPN right now.

Brian had 2 carries for 4 carries for 8 yards and a short TD run plus a catch for 3 yards... what a disgrace the way this player has been treated this season...

I thought it was almost fitting that Rice dropped the conversion pass that would have kept Brian's dream alive. Strange irony isn't it?

what the Colonel said.

I'm very excited to see the Senior Bowl.Brian Leonard is slotted to play at running back.He will share time with three other backs. At least they didn't force him to play at fullback like Mel Kiper would want. The Shark is also there along with teammate Tommy Z!It should be a great game to watch some premier talent.I really hope all of our guys can put on a good showing!

can't wait for it! i hope Leonard will show the nation how good of a runningback he can be!

the question remains, is ther even 1 coach in the NFL that would let him play runningback? or run a ball a lot from fullback position?

After watching a few amazing clips of him I think the NFL will have a job on their hands changing him into a fullback. It may take him a year or two to get out of the habit of hurdling over oposing linebackers.

I really think his best chances are Mangini or Martz (if he finds work somewhere new). Although, isn't this supposed to be Cowher's last year? Maybe some young, free-thinking coach could come into Pittsburgh and give him a shot to be a power back. Ditto goes for Tampa Bay if Gruden gets canned anytime soon as Brian is the closest heir apparent to Alstott. (Now that I think about it, Owen Schmitt from West Virginia might be a better Alstott replacement.)
