6:30 am seems awfully early on a Saturday morning for Haskins to be driving to go work out with his teammates, especially for someone not exactly known for his work ethic. But if he was high and/or drunk we may never know as the lid may be kept on the true story by narrative managers.

Haskins life took an insane turn after his excellent season at Ohio State in 2018.

There is something to this death beyond bad luck as I saw the highway and it's a big city freeway not a country highway that suburban growth enveloped. I don't care how impaired you are with lack of sleep your judgement would have to be off with a high amount of alcohol or narcotics in your system to try and cross a freeway or you would have to be on a suicide mission.

I’ll be curious to see the toxicology report.

Assuming, of course, that the authorities don't cover it up like they did with Tiger Woods' accident.

A friend of mine died years ago at 02:00 after work because He parked on an incline and was run over by his own car rolling down. He forgot the handbrake because He was tired at that late hour. Crazy stuff happens around vehicles if youre not careful.

This Haskins incident could be a simple result of fatigue like my friend.

However, being that it was a young man at the weekend, id say drinking and drugs were involved. Ive seen that a lot, and done it myself.

Any news on how times the other QBs have met with the Steelers? Strong could be a Justin Herbert - lite. If his knee checks out he may a draft steal.

The Steelers also seem to be heavily connected to Howell and Willis.

The Steelers have taken a lot of flak over the years for passing over home-grown Dan Marino in the first round in 1983 (in favor of Gabe Rivera, a defensive end who was paralyzed for life in a one-car accident his rookie season), so that might make them more inclined to take Pickett if no one stands out over the others to them. But yeah, their first round pick should be one of the most interesting ones of the upcoming draft.

Doug Whaley has interviewed twice now for the team's GM job, which is open with the retirement of Kevin Colbert, a Caste disciple who always kept a low profile. Whaley was born and grew up in Pittsburgh and has previously worked for the Steelers in their personnel department, so he may get the job despite being a disaster when he was the Bills' GM from '13 to '17.

The grossly incompetent Dougtavious?

The fact that he's even given an interview reeks of black privilege.

Well the toxicology report confirms what we all assumed, that Dwayne Haskins died in an extraordinarily “black” way.

https://www.outkick.com/nfl-toxicol...amine-use-leading-up-to-dwayne-haskins-death/

- Drunk
- Hard anesthesiology drugs in his system
- Fought with “friend”, who he was out drinking with, causing them to split up
- Drunk woman, not his wife, passed out in disabled vehicle
- Vehicle disabled on highway due to negligence of not filling it with gas
- Attempting to cross an interstate, which is the culmination of all the other aforementioned stupid stuff

Definitely "not on the way to an early morning workout."

F*cker had Ketamine in his system. He was on an epic bender.

We speculated on this when it happened and as I stated before you would have to be spaced out or on a suicide mission to attempt to cross a freeway. I remember when Tommy Morrison died a dormant poster said it would have been a death like this or a piano falling on his head as a logical death. It appears that Haskins was his 4th cousin twice removed...

If it were an unfortunate accident I can show some sympathy since I think I can be a decent human beings, but if it were the vibrancy of blackness crap I remain quiet, not my problem nor concern. As Ice Cube in his role in "Boys in the Hood" said "No one cares about us.", can't argue that. IMO since I am a classical liberal I thought "Boys in the Hood" a pretty decent movie and in which the Fishburn character was correct, boys need men to raise them.
