Ironically, the Bengals white offensive players Leonard and Whalen did more than the Texans white players on offense, but then again its been the very white (for the NFL that is) Texans defense that has been pivotal for them all year.

Nice to see that John Wendling is doing his job as a WSTD, being the leading tackler in that capacity for the Lions. How does a slow, stiff, unathletic white guy keep blowing past the supa affletes that are supposed to be blocking him down the field to prevent him from doing this?
Nice to see Jed Collins get some passes thrown his way. A very underrated fullback, big reason why the Saints have the 6th ranked rush defense and has some nice moves
btw Katrina affected more White people than black, you just never hear about them. The 9th ward is only a small chunk of garbage that should be wiped off the map, further south of that is the city of Chalmette which got it way worse, a majority White city, even had an oil refinery mess up so people had oil as well as flooding. To make matters worse, a great deal of those ppl were affected by the oil spill.
its pretty much a toss up between these two teams. Would be nice to see Stafford get his first playoff win, but would be nice to see Brees add to his legacy after breaking the record. Regardless, the winner will be beaten by the Packers.

I thoroughly agree. Mayock made some first-class Anti-Caste comments when praising J.J. Watt’s interception-touchdown. He used the forbidden “A word” multiple times, talked about his great hands, and even said that “Most NFL receivers couldn’t make that interception.” He said that “Brian Cushing deserved to be in the pro-bowl over Ray Lewis,” he said that Texans center, Chris Myers, “Is one of the most underrated players in the NFL,” and he spoke quite highly of Connor Barwin and Brooks Reed. When TJ Yates was finally allowed to throw the ball downfield (making a particularly-fantastic throw to Johnson on the sidelines), Mayock made some very nice comments about his ability, too.
As you mentioned, Mayock criticized many black players throughout the night. He was belittling Bengal safety, Chris Crocker, for dropping an easy interception, was disgusted by the putrid tackling on Foster’s long run, and was chastising Bengal tight end, Jermaine Greshem, when he failed to run out of bounds to conserve the clock.
Some nice results for Houston’s white defensive players, but I’d like to see Walter, Daniels, Casey, and Dreessen get more involved in the passing attack against Baltimore.

Charles Barkley has been getting promoted heavily all day today on NBC. He's hosting Saturday Night Live tonight. In one commercial he uses big words that one of the White regulars from the show doesn't understand. In another promo there's a still picture of him in a "The Thinker" type pose. My first reaction was to think "brilliant satire," then I quickly remembered the "culture" I live in, where the image of Barkley, whose IQ likely hovers around 90 or 95, as a highly intelligent font of wisdom is dead serious and any public figure who makes fun of it will be ruined.

Leonard looked so much faster than these bums Benson and Scott. Imagine what they could do if they actually let him run it.
I remember watching that POS Vermeil say explicitly that Brian would be nothing but a fullback in the league. I loathe like any normal human being the black undertow but there is a special place in the hell I can imagine for that evil old psychopath Vermiel.
The saints-lions game must have been a coal bowl snoozer, no comments.

It's funny, I was listening to the Ram's radio broadcast a couple of weeks ago when they played Cincy. When Leonard was actually allowed to touch the ball the the Ram's color guy made a comment about how he missed seeing the Leonard leap. He then said "I really wish the Ram's had kept this guy. I can't understand why they could find room for him on the roster". Hmm, I wonder why. I'm sure there was some fifth string afflete who was much more important.

Packers get the winner of tonights game between the Giants and Falcons. Chad Clifton will be back at LT and the Packers snow plow will be intact! I'm pulling for a Packers vs Patriots SuperBowl but I also really like the Texans. They have a talented core of young defensive players, I hope they can shut down Ray Rice and the Ravens.
The awful quality of play in today's NFL really hits home with me during the playoffs. Normally, I have very little interest in any team winning, and just follow my fantasy players. If this is supposed to be the BEST they have....
The Texans game was pretty good, and I was happy to see them win. As others have noted, Brian Leonard was the best back on the Bengals, as he has been all season. Somehow, his vaunted coaching staff-who of course want to play the best players-don't seem to sense this. The Saints-Lions matchup was about as bad as it gets. First, this Suh character is the most overrated player of all time. He is completely invisible on the field, all the time. He had ZERO tackles yesterday, and was credited with a 1/2 sack when he fell on after someone else had made the play.
The Lions defensive backs have to be the worst group ever assembled on any NFL team. Berry is particulary bad (but, of course, was a high draft pick and is guaranteed a job). Yes, I'm sure John Wendling can't play any better than this group of Affirmative Action clowns. Also, where is Bobby Carpenter? Did he get hurt or something? Tulloch is an especially horrific LB for the Lions- there must be hundreds of white LBs on the streets who can play better than him. EVERY player on that defense should be fired after that performance.
As for the Saints, I'm sorry, but Drew Brees simply can't be intelligently evaluated at this point. He has better protection, on a consistent basis, than any QB I've seen in a long time. He literally has 5-6 seconds in a perfectly clean pocket on every play. If you aren't hit, and aren't feeling any pressure, it's a lot easier to complete passes (to usually wide open receivers). The Saints blatantly continue to pad his stats, by throwing the ball down near the goal line without even trying to run it, even when they have a big lead. As a fantasy owner of Philip Rivers, I sure wish the somehow still employed Norv Turner would do that sometimes. Anyhow, to paraphrase Yosemite Sam, I hates those Saints.
Just watched too much of the snorefest between the Giants and Falcons. Wow- could Mike Smith do a poorer job of coaching? In the closing moments of the first half, the Falcons were driving down the field, and this stooge left two timeouts on the field, inexplicably letting the clock run out before they could even try a field goal. Then, he goes for it on fourth and one, usually a decision I like, but he doesn't even have Turner on the field at the time (in fact, has an empty backfield), thereby telegraphing the thoroughly inept QB sneak by Ryan.
It's hard to tell which is worst, the incompetent, bumbling play of all the unqualified black players on the field (especially in all those woeful secondaries), the seventh grade gym level of strategy, play calling and clock management on the part of virtually every coaching staff, or the laughably inconsistent calls by the referees in most every game. Topped off, of course, by the predictable Castean "journalistic" coverage of the contests, and the out of shape embarrasments in the DWF ruled stands in every stadium.
There really is not much to root for.

Actually Brees is usually moving around the pocket to avoid pressure from his mostly sumo line, throwing to mostly slow receivers who get little to no separation. Colston is tight end slow, and Graham is a tight end and not the fastest. His ball placement is perfect.

Drew Brees is the best QB in the NFL. The Sean Payton/Drew Brees alliance is DOMINANT, and what the NFL should be about.. If every team could do it, they would, but everybody can't!
Well if they were Whiter it would be what the NFL should look like. They do prove the stereotypes used against Whites wrong. Brees proves that a qb doesn't have to have the prototypical height. Their receivers prove you don't have to be fast in the 40 to be a good receiver, I think Colston is close to 4.6, Lance Moore is 4.6 (Mike Hass would dominate in the same offense, and Chase Lyman would do much better than someone like Robert Meachem, the "speed guy" on their offense). Their main runners are slow, Pierre Thomas is a high 4.6 and not that big either, maybe 210 after trying to bulk up every year (I would say Chase Reynolds has a better skillset). Sproles proves that a smaller player can handle bigger load, having the role Woodhead should have had. Despite his elite speed, Sproles didn't have one single run or reception go for 40 yards or longer, something that Woodhead was criticized for, not having enough 40+ yard plays. Shows that its harder get big gains out of passing formations, its more about quickness than straight line speed.
well, if the Broncos lose it may be the end of Tebow as a starting qb, so one reason to watch, but its been boring as hell. At UF, when the offense stalled, they would line Tebow up in shotgun and run qb power, I don't understand why they don't do that now. The zone read isn't working. Best play was a screen to Decker who got yards after contact but it was 3rd down. The tight end kind of alligator armed a pass he stuck one arm out but not the other. It would have been somewhat of a difficult catch but very doable in the NFL.
and Decker is injured making a 20 yard catch, probably the only offensive player (wr/rb/te) that should be a starter in the NFL. McGahee has overacheived this year and would be better suited splitting carries with a younger guy.

Tebow with the nice throw to Decker for a big gain and Decker's knee gets taken out by one of the Steelers black defenders. It better not be a serious injury.
