Trey Quinn called up for the Jaguars too. The trick is to actually get them involved in the game plan.

If the Jaguars keep losing they might as well have Schobert play both ways at RB and LB like his HS days.

Hopeful Cottrell and Quinn can make an impact! Had high hopes for Quinn, still hoping he can get on track!

Fatt Matt fired.....
They didn't even let him play out the string and it was a 2 for 1 deal as the GM was fired too.

I wonder if the Patriot way worked because of Tampa Tom more than BB, this will be debated in Boston area bars for decades to come.

I think there has been some success from ex-Patriot coaches. Eric Mangini, for example, and to an extent Flores in Miami seems to be doing a decent job so far.

We all know Mangini was black-balled for the spygate incident as well as employing Hillis as a lead back and ending the white running back 1,000 yard drought.

Interestingly, Hillis was, no my knowledge only the 3rd white running back to be considered a featured back since Craig James in 1985 (Hodge for about a year or two and Alstott also got a lot of carries in Tampa early in his career). What this essentially proves is that if a white many is given an opportunity he comes through with flying colors.

Hard to argue with sound logic and factual evidence but the cucks that make up the majority of men nowadays find a way.

Gotta quibble with a couple things here. Neither Hoge nor Alstott were ever featured backs, both shared carries, Alstott with Warrick Dunn and Hoge with various runners. Hoge was the only White RB in the league during his era (Gil Fennerty got some carries for part of a season, think it was '91) and did lead the Steelers in rushing for a few seasons but his career high for a season was just 772 yards. Compare that for example to Franco Harris' annual thousand plus yards (and even Rocky Bleier went over 1,000 in '76 playing second fiddle to Harris). Hoge carrying the ball instantly ended the day Bill Cowher was hired to replace Chuck Noll.

Tommy Vardell was similar in his usage to Hoge and Alstott his first couple seasons, playing after Hoge and before Alstott, sharing the load before knee injuries prematurely ended his running ability.

Mangini not only violated the taboo of featuring the first White running back since Craig James and the first since James to break 1,000 yards, he also started 5 Whites on defense. Double no-no. And that 2010 Browns team was coming on. It finished 6-10 but got stronger as the year went on, including beating the mighty Patriots. But after that season veteran Caste a-hole Mike "The Fat Walrus" Holmgren was brought in as GM and he fired Mangini. The Browns quickly sank back to the bottom of the league, where they have been ever since before making significant strides this season.

Not featured in the sense that they get 350 carries, but enough to come fairly close to 1,000 yards (indeed Alstott came within about 50 if I recall) and Hoge topped out at around 200 carries for 700+ yards. Not too shabby... the point being that the only two guys to get 200 carries performed very well and that is indicative of white men being able to run well. Put it this way... how many black carriers get a lot of carries and don’t amount to much? The success rate of white men is better than black on a per carry ratio.

Heck flash forward and see how damn effective Woodhead was I’m bothering NE and SD as a runner as well. He could have gotten and extra 50+ carries and done wonders.

Look at what Zenner did when he got the opportunity to start ( vs Dallas and GB)? He dominated.

There are other examples (Brad Hoover’s stellar game, John Kuhn had a couple games where he ran very well, etc) but the bottom line is that when white men are given the opportunity they run with it, no pun intended. If this isn’t the caste system in high-def I don’t know what else is??

Don't disagree at all with how able White runners are, I'm the last person who's going to disagree, but Alstott and Hoge weren't featured backs though they should have been, especially Alstott. Alstott would have been a cinch Hall of Famer if he had been the main man. For the record it's important for those trying to learn about the Caste System to make clear that neither Alstott and Hoge were featured runners.

Another back I and others have mentioned is Rob Konrad, an incredible combination of size, speed and elusiveness who was drafted in the second round by Jimmy Johnson when he coached the Dolphins and was given the Moose Johnston treatment. Konrad was so good that Syracuse gave him Jim Brown's hallowed number 44 in order to recruit him, and though he wasn't allowed to be the featured back even for Syracuse, he handled the ball enough to show that he would have been an effortless All Pro in the NFL. But he and so many others have been screwed big time. At least we got to enjoy Alstott despite playing second fiddle to Dunn most of the time -- Dunn rushed for over 1,000 yards five times, Alstott none -- and Hillis for one season.

interesting that the National media has picked up on the Caldwell/Patricia thing. It’s been a big subject locally for years in Detroit. Every black guy that calls up sports talk radio brings it up.

in fairness to Caldwell he did have a winning record in Detroit which is near impossible. Caldwell also gave Zenner some carries, not enough but it was Patricia that cut him for no reason and then ended up needing a running back.

nobody liked Patricia, not the players, the fans, the media. He did such a poor job that it’s amazing anyone would give the guy a job. He will continue the record of no ex Lion coaches getting a head coaching job after the Lions.

I am sure Fatt Matt will find his way back to New England if he grovels to Belichek enough. Glad to see Bob Quinn get canned too. So much for the "Patriot Way".

Patricia's first game as Lions' head coach was on MNF in 2018. The hapless Jets beat the Lions 48-17 in a game in which the Lions clearly were trying to lose. It was obvious right then that he was doomed, but of course the Lions' management only took another nearly three seasons to acknowledge the obvious.

As I was racking my brain trying to remember white players that have been on the Lions this century the name Stuart Schweigert popped into my head as I recalled he was on the Lions for a short time. I found this very old article speaking about his release from the Raiders. A lot of what he says is stuff we point out every week. In the article they mentioned Michael Huff as his replacement. Huff did not have a great career but was afforded 7 seasons in Oakland. Schweigert's career was 5 years shorter but his overall production is comparable to the 8 year career Huff enjoyed.

It's a widespread misconception that Caldwell was fired for going 9-7. He was fired because Quinn didn't hire him, and Quinn didn't want to get fired before having a chance to hire his own coach.

The problem with the Belichick tree is coaches trying to act like Belichick. A coach needs to win big or have a strong resume to act like Parcells or Belichick. Parcells was nearly fired after his first season with the Giants in 1983, and the Boston media was clamoring for Belichick's firing after he went 5-11 in his first season in 2000. Patricia is especially stupid as he should have learned from what happened with Josh McDaniels in Denver.

Clay Matthews is still a free agent. I guess his time in The NFL has come to an end. He had slowed down in his last few years but was on his way to a renaissance season before a broken jaw with the Rams. 8 sacks at midway mark, and now not even an ounce of interest.

Figured someone in Playoff contention would try and bulk up their pass rush with him as a Free Agent signing.

Lions' white player, Korey Shlessinger FB, for some reason I watched them play the Bears and Korey literally was on Urlacher tighter than his jersey, took Brian straight out of the game.

Just ran across this. From June. A CFL player was released because he made a comment that the lgbtxyz people might not like.

You can be bad at something and at least look good doing it.

But to be bad at something and look bad doing it...

I would suggest Patricia get himself a trim and make a serious visit to the Men's Wearhouse.

It doesn't help to look like a slob couch surfer when the team you coach sucks.

I bet those same SJWs never bring up "Dark" Hue Jackson's epic (fail) 3-36-1 record with the Cleveland Blacks.

That record of ineptitude may never be broken. Dark Hue...:risas3::risas3:

The Browns had a combination of one of the worst GMs (de facto) of all time in Sashi Brown and one of the worst coaches of all time in Hue Jackson, at the same time. The result? They went 0-16. They were so bad they're lucky it wasn't worse.

Amazingly some DWFs and local sportswriters didn't want Hue Jackson fired.

Suprised to see most of the comments take a shot at the SJW thing. Even Joe Sixpack is awake to the agenda and sick of it too.

Conservatives have been complaining and losing since way before I was born, early 60s, so I barely read the comments these days. Since just about everything except oxygen has been taken from us I think it is safe to say we might as well start making demands and blaming the establishment for every thing.

I'm a bit late commenting on this but I found it hilarious when BSPN were creaming themselves over that all black officiating clue then at the end of the segment a black reporter comments how it doesn't matter what race the officials are. Surely DWFs can see this hypocrisy they mentioned diversity while cheering on an all black officiating crew. Although anyone paying attention knows diversity just means less white people. How can ordinary white people tolerate this garbage invading the entertainment industry? How brainwashed is the average American to not take offence to this?

Our newest member probably thinks black refs are the future of the game and are the best you can get.

I get my sports blurbs from Outkick because it is the only outlet that does not insult my intelligence and I am no rocket surgeon. Anyway the NFL has the Vincent Rule and the black coaches don't like it because it is basically white "liberals" being their passive-aggressive Manchausen syndrome selves. FTR the BLM blacks and the white "liberals" deserve one another, may they both rot in hell.
