Many of the sports forums were dead or close to it even before the "pandemic" closed everything down. If posting in the football sections drops any more I will end CF, so you'll have to check ESPN to see how the overachievers are doing.

I would not be surprised if the NFL stopped playing the anthem. It's not a law that they have to play it. The whole playing the anthem is an appeal to phony patriotism anyway.

The NHL plays the anthem and only a few players are US born. My local college played it before the teams came out to avoid the hassle. A lot of NFL players hate the country, that's not a surprise. So don't play it.

If all the players and coaches are going to kneel for the anthem, as appears to be the plan, then it serves no purpose other than to be a whipping boy for the Far Left - which is exactly as the controllers of the league intend. If it were to be announced that the anthem would no longer be played, all the black militants and white Antifa sympathizers would actually be angry that they'd have one less thing to grandstand against. In fact, I have a strong suspicion that some leftists secretly hope Trump wins just so they can keep grandstanding against him and using him as a straw man to rally anger from the mob. They've seen how he's been pretty much muzzled and don't see him as a threat. They don't actually want "change" or "justice." They just want endless warfare in the streets of America where they can eternally roleplay the "good guy" as pushed by CNN, the New York Slimes, the Washington Compost, and all the other usual cuckspects, while anyone who disagrees with them has to be the eternal villain.

A certain number of NFL players, probably not an outright majority but enough to dominate locker rooms with their bullying, would get more pleasure from grandstanding against a Trump White House visit than getting to visit the White House and meet President Biden. That's how twisted, hyper-partisan, and pathetic their retarded mentality is. It's disgusting that there are adults that think that way. It would be disturbing if children thought that way.

I played Division I softball in college, and one year we reached the semifinals of the WCWS. Had we won the championship, Obama was president at the time, so it would have been his White House that we would have visited - and I would have gone on the trip along with my teammates. Not that I have any respect for Obama either as a person or a president, but I'd want to be there with my team, and just getting to visit the White House would have been, well, cool. It's an opportunity that few people get to have.

We normal human beings understand that there are more important things in life than partisan politics. The Antifa scum don't.

In this panic driven era the minute someone tests positive for covid there will have to be a 14 day quarantine for all potentially exposed people. Contact tracing right? Only Ezekiel Elliott is named, the other dozens are not identified and the story is not verifiable. But trust us, these players might all die, so we should shut down the NFL and the kneeling immediately!

This is insane but also comical at the same time because all of the coaches and programs have adhered to the caste system. The fake outrage from being "triggered" by a shirt is absurd especially for a half black kid from Canada. It's almost as funny as the Toucan being offended even though he is half white and was raised by a white adopted family - both of these fools are compensating for their lack of being 100% black.

There has to be a way to put a crunch on NFL revenue. Boycotting all advertisers that sponsor the broadcasts -- talk about some pressure. With network rights making up a huge portion of the NFL's source of income, hurting the bottom line of companies that in the end create the grease that makes the gears turn would make a bunch of stockholders unhappy. But getting average Joe to act seems to be like moving mountains. It's easier to get a network of snot-nose kids to burn down the country.

There's no need to shut anything down. blacks are scared of everything. Very, very scared of illness in that they know next to nothing about anything. At my work, most whites have stopped with the masks. Once the 7 of the 35-55 yr olds who caught COVID19 came back to work after ten days of sniffling and a dry cough. But the Blacks have kept their masks on due to the higher mortality rate. I suspect a lot of us healthy guys at work, flaunt our ability to survive it when we walk past blacks at work. One can feel the fear blacks have towards COVID19.
