Hopefully the Colts don’t let Brissette stink it up the entire year and get Chad Kelly in there. I liked what I saw in the limited time he was with Denver (especially an “it” factor) before being an idiot and breaking into someone’s house

I wonder if the Colts will "tank for Tua", I know Reich will get a mulligan for at least one season with this disaster, but he may have to wrestle with an interfering owner who may try and trade off offensive talent to get the first pick in the draft.

I also wonder if Luck suddenly heals up will he launch a comeback in 20' or even 21' as he will be still fairly young and fresh.

Base on Irsay's history, Colts will tank for Trevor, not Tua :band:
Irsay will sacrifice Reich to this, he will trust Brissette/Kelly, and this season won't be that bad, Colts get used to it before, but the owner might stick to them next year(2020-21), saying he has
belief they are getting better and better each day... and you know they are tanking...

Manning, Luck and Lawrence, why not?
Texans' coach is lucky always, his job is safer after Luck is gone and his 1# pick(2014) will soon leave...

I think this is more a retirement from the Colts than a retirement from football. If he has any interest in returning, I think he should wait two years to let all of his injuries fully heal. Luck has made over 100 million, so he may not even care about coming back.

If Luck returns I think it will be with a different team.

Shocking. The Colts finally got him a good line and a not retarded coach, and they had a great season last year, primed for a super bowl run this year.

Luck is a big tough guy who was not afraid of getting hit. Unfortunately, that playing style was a big factor in his early retirement. There are other factors, as Ryan Grigson was a terrible GM, preferring to invest in flashy skill position players rather than the 0-line.

I don't see Luck coming back. This isn't like Carson Palmer being fed up with the Bengals in 2011. The Colts made the playoffs last year, and Chris Ballard and Frank Reich are a big upgrade over Grigson and Chuck Pagano. If Luck does come back, a big factor will be a struggle in adapting to life without football, something I don't see happening with his intelligence.

I agree. He took a beating behind a terrible offensive line that caught up to him at a young age. Grigson was a lousy GM and Luck paid a heavy price due to his competitiveness. Can't blame him for retiring after four years of non-stop pain, though of course it was a huge shock.

Here's Ryan Nall's 69 yard run, which came on a 1st and 30 play. If/when Nagy screws him over again, will another team "dare" to pick him up from the practice squad or waiver wire?

If Nall doesn't play in game 4 then he's made the team, maybe a hopeful sign is the fact that he only toted the rock 3 times in the game(one was called back due to a penalty), bubble boys usually play close to a full game.

It would be beyond nuts if he had two straight preseasons where he had DIII star stats against NFL teams in the pre-season and never broke camp on the 53 man roster.

Andrew Luck has an Architect Engineering degree out of Stanford. I hope he decides to follow that as his career. If he goes in the "booth," he'd be just wasting his talents and sitting next to a bunch of dummies talking over and over about nothing.

The are only to reasons why Nall has been the most discriminated running back in recent history a.) His race b.) I follow Chicago sports commentators and analysts pretty closely and Nagy has been criticized for being to picky with RBs. Before Nagy arrived last year, The bears had a very productive running back in Jordan Howard, and Matt Nagy basically through him aside in favor of the 5'6 150 pound Tariq Cohen. The notion that Ryan Nall hasn't proven enough to this bears organization that he at least belongs as a third string running back is egregious and indefensible at this point, but, it also doesn't help that he has a total autiste of a head coach who doesn't really know what he wants in a running back!

Nagy has proven to be a bit of a whack job. There was an SI story last week about the Bears search for a kicker and the strange way they handled it this past summer, including Nagy’s complete obsession with 43 yard FGs, the distance of the missed FG last year against the Eagles in the playoffs.

Back to Nall, yes, it’s an insult that the latest chatter is he may be “trending up” and “in the running for the 4th RB spot” after last night’s game. At a minimum, he should be the #2 back or part of a RB-by-committee approach a lot teams employ these days and get some decent touches. But instead, he’s barely in the running to make the team.

As for the 70-yard run, notice that it came on a 1st and 30. Those situations, 1st or 3rd and very long, you’re playing the possession game, trying to give your punter some room to operate, for instance. So, most often it’s a garbage running play, and if you have that rare white RB on the roster, he gets to run the ball in that situation. I’ve seen this many times with guys like Brian Leonard, Jacob Hester, Zenner, Woodhead, Kuhn, and last night Nall. It’s just that he made chicken salad out of chicken **** and how will Nagy justify cutting him now?

That was blocked too, that's not even on the kicker yet they still made him the scapegoat.

Correct Old Scratch. Nagy is a slave to their black locker room who prefer the fake narrative that the kicker "lost" the game for them. I predict Nagy will be out of football sooner than later. Spineless caste wimp.

Women's soccer star Carli Lloyd booted a 55 yard field goal while messing around with the Eagles recently.. She predicts the NFL will someday have a female field goal kicker. Is it possible. I could care less. If they are good enough so be it. But it does give us an insight into why white kickers still predominantly prevail despite the caste tide washing up every other position.

Caste riddled teams with the token white kicker gives off the impression that whites are like maids that clean up the rooms after the "real" players leave the field. The contrast between the so called "manly" black athletes and the "weenie" white kicker sticks in people's minds.

Don't count on seeing any female punters though. Punters have to tackle. But a female who only kicks field goals and not kick offs? It is possible.

The latest prediction by NBC Fake Sports News is that Nall is cut in favor Whyte due to his special teams ability:

RUNNING BACK (4): David Montgomery, Mike Davis, Tarik Cohen, Kerrith Whyte Jr.

"Nall had an impressive 69-yard run in Saturday’s preseason game against the Indianapolis Colts, but the Bears gave Whyte an extended look early in the game. While he didn’t stand out from a production stand point (four carries, eight yards; one catch, seven yards) his speed is evident, and that alone could be enough for him to make the team. His kickoff return ability, too, provides an extra boost for his chances of making the roster."

If Nall is cut, perhaps he flashed enough ability to land somewhere that he's actually wanted? Not likely, though.

It would be pretty cool to see five (5) white RB's (McCaffrey, Burkhead, Zenner, Laird, and Nall) make their respective rosters this season. I can't ever remember a year where more than three (3) made an opening day roster.

Anyway, best of luck to Ryan. Perhaps he can make the team, a few injuries strike, and he can see some PT...

Yes, I have seen this a few times, if a kicker is aging his leg strength can go but his accuracy can still be good. I recall Buffalo doing this with Steve Christie and a long kicking specialist. It's rare because you have eat up a spot on the active 45 which is tough to justify for a pure specialist.

No production, but his speed alone (which is evident) could be enough. And THAT is the Caste System in a nutshell. A white running back with Whyte's measurables would have been moved to slot receiver long ago. Nall is going to get cut again. Let's hope he lands somewhere that wants/needs him.

A White for White trade! LB Kiko Alonso has been traded the the NO Saints for reserve LB Vince Biegel. I like the trade. It makes the Super Bowl hopeful Saints more interesting from our rooting perspective. It also hopefully gives Biegel a chance at playing time since he’s on a team that is rebuilding.

I always liked Biegel and thought the Packers were foolish for letting him go. Biegel comes from a German family and grew up on a cranberry farm in rural Wisconsin...but he’s a hardcore Mormon. A true rarity if I’ve ever seen one, as virtually no German-Americans are members of the LDS church.

That is interesting. Big fan of Biegel as well, if he can shake the injury bug he can be a force in the NFL.

I believe Biegel's father played LB at BYU in 80s so perhaps that has something to do with him being a Mormon? Also what European stock do most Mormons consist of?

From what I know, the vast majority of LDS members are of English, Scottish, or Irish descent, however, a small amount are Scandinavian. There are virtually zero Mormons of German, Austrian, Swiss, French, Italian, Greek, Eastern European, or Baltic descent.

I dont know what it is about those people! On the one hand, something about Mormonism seems very attractive and wholesome, but on the other, something about it rubs me the wrong way and seems very strange! not really the forum for this but the football talent coming out of the LDS church cant go unnoticed!

JT. Stay away from the Religion of Mormonism. It is a false Religion and founded by the false prophet Joseph Smith. Mormonism is rooted in Polytheism, Polygamy, and an earned/good deeds based salvation. They, Mormons want to be accepted by Christians, but their beliefs are in direct contradiction to Christianity. I will not get into specifics here, but you can look up on you tube John MacArthur on Mormonism. Trusting in Jesus Christ alone, is the only way!
