Irsay will sacrifice Reich to this, he will trust Brissette/Kelly, and this season won't be that bad, Colts get used to it before, but the owner might stick to them next year(2020-21), saying he has

I think this is more a retirement from the Colts than a retirement from football. If he has any interest in returning, I think he should wait two years to let all of his injuries fully heal. Luck has made over 100 million, so he may not even care about coming back.

If Luck returns I think it will be with a different team.

I don't see Luck coming back. This isn't like Carson Palmer being fed up with the Bengals in 2011. The Colts made the playoffs last year, and Chris Ballard and Frank Reich are a big upgrade over Grigson and Chuck Pagano. If Luck does come back, a big factor will be a struggle in adapting to life without football, something I don't see happening with his intelligence.

I agree. He took a beating behind a terrible offensive line that caught up to him at a young age. Grigson was a lousy GM and Luck paid a heavy price due to his competitiveness. Can't blame him for retiring after four years of non-stop pain, though of course it was a huge shock.

If Nall doesn't play in game 4 then he's made the team, maybe a hopeful sign is the fact that he only toted the rock 3 times in the game(one was called back due to a penalty), bubble boys usually play close to a full game.

It would be beyond nuts if he had two straight preseasons where he had DIII star stats against NFL teams in the pre-season and never broke camp on the 53 man roster.

Nall showed quickness and speed on that play. Definitely NFL caliber.

If Nall isn't on a roster this year it's because he's white, no other reason.

The are only to reasons why Nall has been the most discriminated running back in recent history a.) His race b.) I follow Chicago sports commentators and analysts pretty closely and Nagy has been criticized for being to picky with RBs. Before Nagy arrived last year, The bears had a very productive running back in Jordan Howard, and Matt Nagy basically through him aside in favor of the 5'6 150 pound Tariq Cohen. The notion that Ryan Nall hasn't proven enough to this bears organization that he at least belongs as a third string running back is egregious and indefensible at this point, but, it also doesn't help that he has a total autiste of a head coach who doesn't really know what he wants in a running back!

Back to Nall, yes, it’s an insult that the latest chatter is he may be “trending up” and “in the running for the 4th RB spot” after last night’s game. At a minimum, he should be the #2 back or part of a RB-by-committee approach a lot teams employ these days and get some decent touches. But instead, he’s barely in the running to make the team.

As for the 70-yard run, notice that it came on a 1st and 30. Those situations, 1st or 3rd and very long, you’re playing the possession game, trying to give your punter some room to operate, for instance. So, most often it’s a garbage running play, and if you have that rare white RB on the roster, he gets to run the ball in that situation. I’ve seen this many times with guys like Brian Leonard, Jacob Hester, Zenner, Woodhead, Kuhn, and last night Nall. It’s just that he made chicken salad out of chicken **** and how will Nagy justify cutting him now?

The latest prediction by NBC Fake Sports News is that Nall is cut in favor Whyte due to his special teams ability:

It would be pretty cool to see five (5) white RB's (McCaffrey, Burkhead, Zenner, Laird, and Nall) make their respective rosters this season. I can't ever remember a year where more than three (3) made an opening day roster.

Anyway, best of luck to Ryan. Perhaps he can make the team, a few injuries strike, and he can see some PT...

Yes, I have seen this a few times, if a kicker is aging his leg strength can go but his accuracy can still be good. I recall Buffalo doing this with Steve Christie and a long kicking specialist. It's rare because you have eat up a spot on the active 45 which is tough to justify for a pure specialist.

A White for White trade! LB Kiko Alonso has been traded the the NO Saints for reserve LB Vince Biegel. I like the trade. It makes the Super Bowl hopeful Saints more interesting from our rooting perspective. It also hopefully gives Biegel a chance at playing time since he’s on a team that is rebuilding.

That is interesting. Big fan of Biegel as well, if he can shake the injury bug he can be a force in the NFL.

I believe Biegel's father played LB at BYU in 80s so perhaps that has something to do with him being a Mormon? Also what European stock do most Mormons consist of?

JT. Stay away from the Religion of Mormonism. It is a false Religion and founded by the false prophet Joseph Smith. Mormonism is rooted in Polytheism, Polygamy, and an earned/good deeds based salvation. They, Mormons want to be accepted by Christians, but their beliefs are in direct contradiction to Christianity. I will not get into specifics here, but you can look up on you tube John MacArthur on Mormonism. Trusting in Jesus Christ alone, is the only way!
