I wonder if the Colts will "tank for Tua", I know Reich will get a mulligan for at least one season with this disaster, but he may have to wrestle with an interfering owner who may try and trade off offensive talent to get the first pick in the draft.
I also wonder if Luck suddenly heals up will he launch a comeback in 20' or even 21' as he will be still fairly young and fresh.
Luck is a big tough guy who was not afraid of getting hit. Unfortunately, that playing style was a big factor in his early retirement. There are other factors, as Ryan Grigson was a terrible GM, preferring to invest in flashy skill position players rather than the 0-line.
I don't see Luck coming back. This isn't like Carson Palmer being fed up with the Bengals in 2011. The Colts made the playoffs last year, and Chris Ballard and Frank Reich are a big upgrade over Grigson and Chuck Pagano. If Luck does come back, a big factor will be a struggle in adapting to life without football, something I don't see happening with his intelligence.
Here's Ryan Nall's 69 yard run, which came on a 1st and 30 play. If/when Nagy screws him over again, will another team "dare" to pick him up from the practice squad or waiver wire?

That was blocked too, that's not even on the kicker yet they still made him the scapegoat.Nagy has proven to be a bit of a whack job. There was an SI story last week about the Bears search for a kicker and the strange way they handled it this past summer, including Nagy’s complete obsession with 43 yard FGs, the distance of the missed FG last year against the Eagles in the playoffs.

Back to Nall, yes, it’s an insult that the latest chatter is he may be “trending up” and “in the running for the 4th RB spot” after last night’s game. At a minimum, he should be the #2 back or part of a RB-by-committee approach a lot teams employ these days and get some decent touches. But instead, he’s barely in the running to make the team.
As for the 70-yard run, notice that it came on a 1st and 30. Those situations, 1st or 3rd and very long, you’re playing the possession game, trying to give your punter some room to operate, for instance. So, most often it’s a garbage running play, and if you have that rare white RB on the roster, he gets to run the ball in that situation. I’ve seen this many times with guys like Brian Leonard, Jacob Hester, Zenner, Woodhead, Kuhn, and last night Nall. It’s just that he made chicken salad out of chicken **** and how will Nagy justify cutting him now?
Yes, I have seen this a few times, if a kicker is aging his leg strength can go but his accuracy can still be good. I recall Buffalo doing this with Steve Christie and a long kicking specialist. It's rare because you have eat up a spot on the active 45 which is tough to justify for a pure specialist.Correct Old Scratch. Nagy is a slave to their black locker room who prefer the fake narrative that the kicker "lost" the game for them. I predict Nagy will be out of football sooner than later. Spineless caste wimp.
Women's soccer star Carli Lloyd booted a 55 yard field goal while messing around with the Eagles recently.. She predicts the NFL will someday have a female field goal kicker. Is it possible. I could care less. If they are good enough so be it. But it does give us an insight into why white kickers still predominantly prevail despite the caste tide washing up every other position.
Caste riddled teams with the token white kicker gives off the impression that whites are like maids that clean up the rooms after the "real" players leave the field. The contrast between the so called "manly" black athletes and the "weenie" white kicker sticks in people's minds.
Don't count on seeing any female punters though. Punters have to tackle. But a female who only kicks field goals and not kick offs? It is possible.
While he didn’t stand out from a production stand point (four carries, eight yards; one catch, seven yards) his speed is evident, and that alone could be enough for him to make the team.
A White for White trade! LB Kiko Alonso has been traded the the NO Saints for reserve LB Vince Biegel. I like the trade. It makes the Super Bowl hopeful Saints more interesting from our rooting perspective. It also hopefully gives Biegel a chance at playing time since he’s on a team that is rebuilding.
I always liked Biegel and thought the Packers were foolish for letting him go. Biegel comes from a German family and grew up on a cranberry farm in rural Wisconsin...but he’s a hardcore Mormon. A true rarity if I’ve ever seen one, as virtually no German-Americans are members of the LDS church.
. Also what European stock do most Mormons consist of?
I dont know what it is about those people! On the one hand, something about Mormonism seems very attractive and wholesome, but on the other, something about it rubs me the wrong way and seems very strange! not really the forum for this but the football talent coming out of the LDS church cant go unnoticed! From what I know, the vast majority of LDS members are of English, Scottish, or Irish descent, however, a small amount are Scandinavian. There are virtually zero Mormons of German, Austrian, Swiss, French, Italian, Greek, Eastern European, or Baltic descent.
