he didnt "lose" his starting job, he received a concussion and Minor got more carries, they decided to stick with Minor because their Oline sucks and had trouble opening up holes. Minor is a slow power runner and Sam Mcguffie is the speedster, go figure. Also the death happened before he decided he said he wanted to switch to slot receiver.Edited by: dwid

If you think Moreno and Wells wont be
drafted high you are crazy.

You obviously read my post. Did I not say one of two
might slip through the cracks? No way in hell, though,
are they gonna be drafted where they originally were
before laying their 40 yard dash eggs.. especially
Moreno. He embarrassed himself.

Moreno and Wells getting drafted high is not "1 or 2 slipping through the cracks" They are the best prospects at their position in this particular draft, you're an idiot, i can see why they banned you, i am done with thisEdited by: dwid

huskies im not gonna lie it seems like you know what you are talking about, but some of your arguments are so rediculous that it is obvious their only purpose is to create an argument. you say you do this because it is fun, but why dont you go argue with someone else. otherwise, stop being an jerk and actually talk some truth. moreno will be drafted early cuz hes a good back, just not that fast. there are so many white athletes at his speed or faster that dont get a chance because they "arent fast enough." you are good for a reason tho, i realize why i joined this forum to begin with.

Everyone isbetter off just ignoring that serial troll and notifying me or one of the mods by pm when he reappears because his posts are going to be deleted every time. If he thinks he's somehow going to eventually be allowed to post here if he uses enough email addresses and IP addresses, I only have one thing to say -- not on my watch!

Brutal=Maximus=TexasTech was back
and banned again. The guy seriously just can't give it
up. Even on a day where our argument has clearly won
out; he just gets disgruntled and has to come here to
"try" to prove us wrong. I mean I'll concede a few
points to the guy sometimes if he makes a legit argument
presenting the full picture; which he does once in a
while. But the dude "NEVER" seems to concede points to
us, no matter what the evidence presented to him. Don
Wassall has brought this up a few times about this
particular troll and he just never goes away.

I have no idea who Brutal is. Anyway, what exactly did
your argument "clearly win out on"? What are you right
about? What exactly did you win? You do realize the
draft hasn't happened yet, right?

THESE SLUGS WILL NOT BE HIGH DRAFT PICKS. They will NOT
be drafted ahead of Brian Leonard's '07 slot. Why?
Because they're TOO SLOW. One or two may slip through
the cracks, but for the most part, NFL teams aren't
gonna waste early round money on guys who can't stretch
the field. Period.

How exactly does knowledge of this help "caste", anyway?
You think in the future, NFL GM's are suddenly gonna
waste high picks drafting white 3-toed sloths when
they're not gonna waste them on black ones? I don't get
your logic. You're getting all moist and excited over
nothing. The spreadsheet I posted about the draft
positions of last years runningback numbers is deleted
because it clearly showed that speed backs are drafted
early, slugs are drafted late. The same thing is gonna
happen this year.

As far as my never conceding, I never concede becasue
I'm always right. I'm banned because I'm always right.
Ahead of last year's draft, I stated Danilo Galinari was
gonna be the only white Euro drafted in the first round.
Remember that? I was right, wasn't I?

I got banned for saying the Dream Team was gonna destroy
the basketball world. Foreign teams can't carry our
jocks if we send our best players. Remember when I
posted the spreadsheet showing that only 2 all-stars
went in 2004 vs. 9 this year. Wasn't I right about the
US bringing home the gold?

I got banned for saying white sprinters weren't gonna
make the semi-finals during the Olympic 100m. They've
breached 10.06 only once in each of the last 4 decades.
I was right, no?

I got banned for arguing with Pitbull (whatever happened
to that guy, anyway?) for saying Kevin Durant was gonna
win the Naismith over Hansborough. I was right, wasn't
I?

I also got banned, and my posts deleted for laughing at
your obsession with Kevin Durant, and how much you think
he sucks. Being that he scores more points, dishes more
assists, has more steals, more blocked shots, a higher
field goal percentage, and a much higher 3 pt FG% than
Dirk Nowitzki, I suppose you think Dirk sucks too?
Wasn't I right Kevin being a 20 year old freak?

I got banned for suggesting Sam McGuffie's skills were
better suited for a speedback conference rather than
powerback conference. His leaving Michigan proved I was
right, no?

I'M ALWAYS RIGHT. I keep coming back 'cuz it's fun
being right. Also, with the millions of IP addresses
out there, it's also pretty funny watching the
moderators ban some random IP I used, thinking it'll
prevent me from coming back. It doesn't even take me 15
seconds.

I'm not going to address every one of your points b/c I don't have time. OK maybe I will, I'll do as many as I can; this is getting tiresome.

1st: I'll admit Durant has come around as a player since his rookie season. He's on a bad team, but is playing well now, b/c he's scoring at a decent rate per shot unlike last year and is playing D better than I thought he could.

I guess Durant has a better FG% this yr. by a small margin than Dirk, but Dirk has perfected getting to the line and makes easy baskets for his team (QUALITY) assists; Dirk still probably still has a better scoring efficiency per shot even this year; although I didn't do the math yet b/c I'm going to bed.

Dirk would test out as more athletic than Durant at a Combine type workout too. Durant tested a little below average for draftable forward prospects; although he's now even played some SG for OK City. Dirk is a better rebounder. Durant appears to just be a player who seems to be in the right spots on defense and has INSTINCTS. Yes Durant is better at steals and blocks. Man to man D is not Dirks strength. Compare and contrast all you want.

I won't concede anything about the U.S Dream team. FYI I had stated that I thought they'd probably win in a close Olympics this year. Basketball was originally a U.S game after all and city black kids love to hoop it up. The U.S team had every worthwhile star this Olympics.

But in the Argentina game, the defending champs btw, they lost Ginobili to injury.
In the Spain game it was a mere 4 point game with 4 minutes left. Spain was without their best veteran PG Calderon and was led by talented Rubio who wasn't necessarily ready to have such ridiculously high minutes on such a stage at 17. Who's to say Spain wouldn't have had a good chance to take the gold if they alternated Calderon and Rubio. You are wrong here the U.S did not DOMINATE.

You honestly think that Chris Wells, Moreno and Greene aren't ALL going to be taken within the first 8 RBs. Moreno will probably still go in the first round. Wells will be gone by the top of the 2nd trust me. They'll get playing time way before; Leonard (who I certainly don't think is the best white prospect to come around btw) or Hester, Tre Smith maybe even Hillis next year, who played great btw but still gets hate, and McGuffie, Wegher and Burkhead if they make it that far.

Sam McGuffie did fine in mid season. And had an amazing game against Notre Dame. Yeah he sucked in the first two games b/c he was adjusting to Big 10 football and him and the o-line were just trying to figure it out. He had one concussion and then Rich Rod put him on kickoff return which isn't his forte and he got nailed and had a second; I'm obviously bummed about this. Trust me there are at least a few Big 10 players that really want to hit Sam like a train to stop what they think is the Youtube hype machine so to speak.

If you have the ability to break down film; you can clearly see Sam's got better agility than AT LEAST 90% of DI starters and I'm being very generous to the McGuffie haters here. He has absolutely freakish 10 yard burst and still pretty impressive top-end speed for a top prospect. He was just starting to learn to trust his vision and blocks better, what little of it he sometimes got, when he got hurt.

Minor did well because he was a vet of the team. He knew what to do when he saw a small crack he just barreled through. Guff has to work on his power a bit that's the only apparent weakness in his game and it wasn't a huge weakness he just needs to learn to fall forward more when getting hit to increase his yardage and yes his running vision will improve to.

I don't want to get into the full analysis, but statistics show whites have a slight edge in quad power for tackle breaking; (ie. Squat records and power lifting competitions). We have equal, if not slightly better, 10-15 yard game speed. Just look at how Wes Welker plays; he's a Brian Westbrook or Ahmad Bradshaw playing WR. There are many whites like Welker out there. Whites make great one slash and burst to the hole runners that can break those 20-30 yard runs and use angles and slashing cuts to get the most of their run. We measure up for having field vision and heart as players. etc.

SO yeah blacks have a small speed advantage from 20 yards-350 meters and seem to outrun CBs better on really long runs. This proves nothing that the NFL should be 100% black at HB with Lendale White, Ron Dayne and Leron McClain and his 4.88 40 all allowed to have more career carries than any white not name Mike Alstott in the last 10 years.
smiley11.gif

BTW: did you should know that the record for most "30 yard runs in a season" went all the way back to Jim Brown with a whooping (sarcasm) 7 until DeAngelo Williams broke off 8 this year; Sanders never had more than 5 in a season, Sayers 6. We're not even talking 40 yard runs here. So much for the straight-lined 40 yard footrace. Even on a 75 yard run which is longer than a typical drive your first 25 yards is very unlikely to be a straight lined footrace. SO based on that last EXTREMLY rare event Maximus would probably like to test a 50 yard dash; to reduce the amount of whites in the league even slightly more lol; that last part was a joke.Edited by: ToughJ.Riggins

i would say whites are equal in speed to balcks in 40 yards, 60m, and 200m, but not 100m probably due to a mental factor or a lack of top end speed endurance. but football is not about speed, especially straight ahead speed, as most are well aware. maybe caste thoughts discriminating whites athletes will never end, but thee nfl;' fascination with 40 yard dashes has got to stop. it is ridiculous and not a measure of true ability.

That is probably the last time I will ever try to argue with Maximus=TexasTech in a long tirade. He just won't concede any points; as you can see I will concede a few here and there like about Durant. I have done tons of work listing newspaper articles on white recruiting snubs (I doubt the guy read any of them) and comparing athletic measurements, but it gets very tiresome. I didn't even bother to dig up the full "slow big name RB list" this time; I posted a small part of it. Time to grab a Chamomile tea and go to bed.

Brannan Southerland is looking pretty athletic for a guy his size 6'0 243 pounds, 4.7 40 yard dash, 38 inch vertical, 10 inch broad jump. Im thinking if this guy cut weight he could be a nice powerback.

No questionSoutherland can be aproductive running back in the NFL.

from ohio.com:

GlenOak's Hartline had a great day in the other drills. His time of 10.92 seconds in the 60-yard shuttle was first among receivers, while he tied for second in the three-cone drill (6.65) and was fourth in the 20-yard shuttle (4.12).

Cushing, as I stated before, has run 4.48 in the 40. He is probably the most athletic linebacker in this draft. I am really hoping he run in the high 4.4's. I don't know much about Matthews. Is he expected to be a first round pick?

Guys do you think Anthony Felder of Cal is white? He sure looks it to me in his Cal Picture just wondering if maybe we missed a player we should he keep an eye out for.

Cushing ran a dissapointing 4.64. While it's still a good number for a linebacker, I read he was running 4.4's. He did have 30 bench press reps which is tied for first place. Connor Barwin is a tremendous athlete. A 40.5 inch vertical leap for a 256lb guy and a 4.66 40!!Edited by: whiteathlete33

4.64 is a good time. Clay Matthews ran a 4.59 and Laurenitis ran a 4.8 which while i think is not bad, it will hurt him i believe. Even though Rey M from USC ran a 4.83 and then got "injured" towards the end, and then there was a story about how he was injured the past two weeks and at 80 percent. I call BS, i knew he was going to run in the 4.7's and 4.8's, he is still a good player, just like Laurenitis is still a great linebacker. Tatupu ran what, a 5.01 dash? Edited by: dwid

It was originally 4.64 and then they changed it to 4.74. Regardless, he is still probably the best athlete at linebacker in overall athleticism.Edited by: whiteathlete33

I dunno, Clay Matthews looked pretty damn good out there. As far as the drills go, id say the White linebackers pretty much did better than the black ones except Aaron Curry who looked about the same as the top White prospects. Most of the White linebackers showed great hip flexibility which they supposedly dont possess during the drills. Its funny how they were showing some of the drills though. For the DLinemen, there were 3 White guys, they changed the view for 2 of the White guys to where you couldnt see what they were doing that well from a far away angle. And some of the black guys they showed close footage of their feet, some of them didnt go all the way to the cones from sideline to sideline in one of the Linebacker drills. It looked like one of the black guys was tap dancing and went maybe 4 feet haha. Whoever number 9 was is terrible, he had on a baggy shirt so he mustve been carrying some fat and he was slipping and just looked like an overall poor performance, i can honestly say he didnt look like he belonged there. Laurenitis looked good in most of the drills. He looked fluid but im sure that 40 yard dash time will hurt his draft stock. I hope the Saints draft him. Its going to cost too much money to resign Vilma at MLB, and its not like hes that great of a linebacker like the saints fans say he is. Hes a solid one at best, not very fast or a hard hitter, but a smart player and makes up for that, definetly not worth top money. Fans think just because he has black skin that he is automatically more athletic than all the linebackers we have. they say hes more athletic than fujita which is insane to say.Edited by: dwid

Mitch King is listed as the fastest defensive tackle on footballsfuture at 4.81 although he doesnt show up on nfl.com as the top ten dlinemen even though it goes up to 4.87, not sure what is up with that

3 cone drill times which is a good thing to measure linebackers by im guessing
