Mike Gesicki separated his shoulder in practice yesterday. Hopefully he's ready to go by the start of the season. Gesicki and Hunter Henry on the field at the same time can make things a lot easier for Mac Jones.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Mike Gesicki sustained a separated shoulder.
The hope, per Rapoport, is that Gesicki is OK for the Patriots’ season opener. Gesicki was hurt during a tackling drill on Monday and was seen grabbing at his shoulder as he exited toward the team’s locker room. New England is widely expected to deploy two tight end sets this season, so the Gesicki injury could force offensive coordinator Bill O’Brien to shift course ahead of Week 1. Hunter Henry would be a little more interesting for fantasy purposes if Gesicki is sidelined for the season opener.

Mediocre after mediocre trade, we are desperate for tackle quality and depth but the two made today are awful. Belichick not struck gold with these two that's for sure

Problem isn't helped tbh by Reiff being awful in camp moved to guard and now injured. He was paid guaranteed starter money and hasn't been good.

Looks like Hunter Henry is staying at New England, rare piece of good news for the franchise and takes the top tight end of the board before free agency begins for next week.

3 year 27 million. Hopefully change of coaching and some improved play around him will see a bounce back year.

Career scrub tears his ACL halfway through last season and is rewarded with a 3 year contract worth up to $33 million. I can't wait to see the Patriots this season, could be great comic relief. Hunter Henry may feel very lonely on the field and in the locker room:

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports Kendrick Bourne and the Patriots have agreed to a three-year contract.
Bourne’s deal is worth “up to $33 million,” according to Schefter. The veteran receiver was in the midst of one of the best years of his career last season (37-406-4) before a torn ACL suffered in Week 8 limited him to just eight games on the season. Bourne has never gone for more than 800 yards in any of his seven professional seasons and has eclipsed 500 yards only twice. While his return to the Patriots is a good sign for Bourne and his playing future, it shouldn’t stop the Patriots from going out and seriously addressing their wide receiver issues via free agency or the draft. Incredibly, DeVante Parker also remains under contract, but the Patriots running things back with Parker and Bourne as their top two receivers would be malpractice for a team that won just four games last year while ranking 31st in points per game.

Teams often do this, such a shame people go away from the formula of a good number of athletic quality white players and high character black players, so often a winning formula ie Patriots back in the day and the current Kansas city chiefs. The ultimate copy cat league that people never copy the winning formula!

The Patriots are going to be comically black if Jayden Daniels is the pick at 3. At least they'll be interesting to watch from a sociological standpoint.

I think they end up taking bo nix or McCarthy after trading down from 3 in the first round. They are sending four staff to watch Nix pro day.

Think we trade down take a tackle in the first and then select Nix would be my guess. Or trade down and take Mccarthy in the first

Austin Hooper signed 1 year 4.25 million solid signing to play with Henry hopefully more of a fit than Gesicki for us.

Overrated WR throughout his career going back to his college days when the cuck Herbie would talk him up during college broadcasts because of his "cool" name. You can add Adoree Jackson to the list of mediocre black players from USC during the same time frame.
Steelers DWFs went gaga over JuJu when he was drafted as a 20 year old. They loved his personality, but what he was was a very immature child in an adult body. He quickly joined up with Antonio Brown and Leveon Bell as the leaders of the team's self-absorbed "look at me I'm so cool" contingent. Later came Chase Claypool and he and JuJu spent most of their time preening for social media.

He's had two good seasons in seven years in the NFL, but the second good one, if it can be called that, resulted in 97 catches for all of 831 yards, a beyond pathetic 8.6 average yards per catch. He's slow and now may be finished.

I am rooting for the Steelers to trade away draft capital for Aiyuk as of course he has gone on record he wants to play for Tomlin. I think Aiyuk would become another in a long line of ego fueled WRs to cause issues in Pittsburgh.

The Steelers are currently the leading contender in the endless Aiyuk saga. Kind of funny as lately there's been a lot of noticing that Aiyuk can pass for Tomlin's son.

New England's fans are excited over rookie QB Joe Milton. They love the athleticism of Milton.

It won't take much to turn it into a full-blown raging inferno demanding that Milton start. I was driving yesterday and turned on Mark Madden's local sports talk show here in Pittsburgh. A substitute host, some White clown, didn't listen long enough to get his name and am not interested to know it, began the show by jabbering about how Brandon Aiyuk ruled out going to the Patriots because he thinks Drake Maye is a bum and he wants the "upgrade" offered by the Steelers' dynamic duo of Wilson and Fields over making more money with New England. He then began waxing poetic about Joe Milton and how he was "slinging the ball all over the field" during the preseason game.

Drake Maye is in a terrible situation with a bad team, but he has to be good immediately otherwise the drumbeat for Milton will only get louder and louder and Maye will quickly be labeled the "next Zach Wilson."

Milton was not good in college so I doubt he somehow becomes anything but a spot starter at best in the league. Maye certainly is in a less than ideal situation. The Steelers fans are so cucked they can't get over themselves choosing between a washed up Russell Wilson and a 1st round bust in Justin Fields. Fields stunk yesterday by the way despite the box score. Meanwhile Kyle Allen came in and played very well yet nary a mention of his performance (BSPN had nothing on him with their review of Friday preseason games). It's funny Zach Wilson is cited by the media but the aforementioned Justin Fields and all time bust Trey Lance (they swept him under the rug quick) are both getting a free pass.

I will say this though that the caste system has taken control of the QB position. Take this from the one guy that has been opposing it for the past 20 years. Less than 10 years ago the best QBs were Brady, Peyton Manning, Rivers, Roethlisberger, Brees, Rodgers, Eli Manning, Tony Romo and the media, football complex from high school through the NFL and idiotic fan bases now magically believe Whites can no longer play the position. Looking forward to upcoming recruiting classes and magically the number of White QBs is dwindling. A slight framed, average armed Bryce Young was somehow viewed as the unanimous 1st overall pick in 2023 and the Colts selected a guy with huge accuracy issues and minimal college production at number 4. In 2024 a supposed "generational" talent emerges three years after the previous "generational" talent in Trevor Lawrence. This is all engineered and media driven. Now for 2025 we see two very good QBs in Quinn Ewers and Carson Beck and the "experts" are stating it's a down year for QBs.

It's all being engineered/artificially manufactured. I have no desire to be thrown a random White CB or RB every 30 years, no desire to believe in the White outlier theory when it has been documented here how many White players never get a chance. The caste system has just become such an insult to my intelligence that I can't unsee it. Perhaps it's just a symptom of being completely aware of what's going on around me now, the elevated state of awareness that we all here seem to possess and thankfully more and more of the masses are waking up...I digress.
