On another note after the Kevin Smith take over in Sacramento Jimmer has seen a steady drop in him minutes on the court. This dose not bode well for his future in Sacramento, he will not have the same leash that the above listed players have been afforded.
And as incredible as the Roster for Minnesota looks from our prospective, why is Rubio not starting? The only reason I am not outraged by this is that the starter is Luke Ridnour. But it is really cutting into his chances to be the ROY in the NBA, and I find that intolerable.
Chandler Parsons has been great in limited minutes. In the Rockets last meeting with the Thunder, Chandler was assigned the task of shutting down Durant. While Chandler has never been known as a great defender;it speaks volumes about the rookie second rounder. Parsons has the skill set and the athleticism to be a triple double threat every night with 30+ min.
Goran Dragic in two starts for the injured Kyle Lowery; has averages of 15 PPG 9.5 APG 3.5 RPG 1.5 SPG and only one turnover. All while shooting 55% from the field, and 43% from 3. The numbers compare very favorably to Lowery; and while Lowery averages .5 APG more then Dragic he also has 2.5 more TOPG. Dragic also bests him in the shooting % mark and it's not even close; Lowery shoots 43% from the field and 37% from three. And while Lowery is being touted as an all-star Dragic rides the pine, makes no sense.
The underwhelming Courtney Lee continues to steal minutes from the supremely talented Chase Budinger, Lee is currently injured and both Budinger and Parsons will see an increase in minutes.
Gordon Hayward continues to improve in his second season, and will be a force to deal with in the coming years. In his eight starts this season he has reached double digits four times. While only being in double digit shot attempts once this season. As he continues to gets more assertive on the offensive end he will improve his scoring. He is only averaging 7.5 shots per game that is an incredibly low number for a player that averages almost 30 minuets per game. The future is bright for Hayward.
