Lots of boxing this weekend. Most of it is from London which looks like it is becoming the boxing mecca of the world.

Yes it's a busy weekend for UK cards as the Whyte vs Franklin card is dueling with the Parker vs Ryder card. White prospects are on the under card of both fights but the Parker vs Ryder card has a better main event as Whyte should walk through the buttery built and protected Franklin who has fought no true contenders of note.
PS For the first update of the weekend Wordley defeated Gorman with a violent 3rd round tko. Gorman had his moments in this fight but once he wobbled Wardley in the 2nd round it seemed that it became a shoot out and he couldn't take the fire power of Wardley.
The Ryder vs Parker WBO interim title fight was a dud as Ryder stopped Parker due to an injury stoppage in the 4th round. Ryder is now the mandatory for Alvarez's WBO belt.
Whyte vs Franklin was more entertaining than I thought it would be as Franklin didn't fade in the middle rounds and gave as good as he got until the 12th where Whyte finally staggered Franklin and had him hanging on until the final bell.
Neither fighter looked they can seriously upset the apple cart against the elite of the division(Fury and Usyk) but against B level guys they could be a test.
Bakhodir Jalolov crushed man boobed club fighter Curtis Harper. The huge Uzbek keeps on impressing and is ready for a non spoiler professional loser type. These fights he is fighting now are easier than the sparring sessions than the Uzbek has leading up to these fights.
Prograis vs Zepeda follows later tonight and they are fighting for the vacant WBC that was stripped of the Scotsman Taylor who only has one belt left at 140.
